This would be the worse delivery company I have ever had to deal with. Firstly it didn't come on time. The I rang and explained my partner is a FIFO worker and I wanted to arrange to pick it up. I was advised that I would be called back to arrange pick up. I never received a call back. Now they are saying it's been moved and we have no way of getting it delivered. My partner isn't back in Perth for several weeks as he is at work. This was explain during my call Friday. I rang this morning and was told there is nothing they can do. I was allowed to speak with the manager. The reception ended up hanging up on me. I wasn't rude I was simply looking for a solution. Never use this service, I will be reporting this company to the ACCC

Delivered goods 3 working days after they initially arrived in Melbourne from Brisbane. Both boxes of goods damaged when received. Hoping goods won't be damaged when opened. Informed retailer of the condition in which the boxes were received!!! Like many others I cannot recommend!!

I accidentally typed the wrong property number on 3 large parcels that Hunter Express were the courier for. When I called Hunter Express the person I spoke to was really helpful but couldn't update the address, as they hadn't received the parcel. I spoke with the sender who weren't much help and just said to call Hunter Express back after 24 hours to update the address, which I then completely forgot to do. Working from home, I totally panicked when I saw that the parcel had been delivered but I needn't have worried, as the driver had gone out of their way to locate the correct business address and the parcels are waiting for me at work. I really appreciate that extra step that not every driver would take to ensure delivery. Thank you.

5 stars simply for the service. I personally had great experience with them, none of my packages arrived damaged. They give you an estimated delivery time by the minute and also send you multiple notifications (1hr away, 15 mins away, etc). They also give you your position in the queue which I find very helpful

I have never had such a poor experience with any company, the wrong items were delivered, the courier forged my name. I reported this to the company, they were not interested, and I just was hung up on by Angie without finishing my conversation. My package is still lost and they are not able to provide or willing to provide any information. I asked to speak to a manager, she said they if I didnā€™t like her tone that was my problem and hung up without answering my question.

Iā€™m waiting on a parcel to be returned to the seller. I have called EVERY SINGLE DAYā€¦ and EACH TIME Iā€™ve been told pick up is between 12-5pmā€¦ no one turns up. After 2 weeks of mucking around, I get a message to say our area only gets serviced weekly. Funny that, in the two weeks it could have potentially been picked up twice. The seller has paid for pick up, but Hunter Express cannot commit to a service. Poor service, poor communication, and itā€™s terribly frustrating.. if you need a delivery or pick up serviceā€¦ DO NOT USE HUNTER EXPRESS ā€¦ Service is appalling

2-4 days business days for delivery. Good joke. Our parcel was collected December 1st, it is now the 14th and we still have no delivery. Tracking says it's been in the nearest depot (literally a 10 minute drive) for over a week now but still no delivery! I tried to call the company yesterday to escalate our delivery but it's impossible to actually talk to someone! They send you around in circles "press 1.... Press 2..." And you never speak to someone. All I was told via their robot was that I could find estimated delivery by tracking on their website, and by looking at the estimated shipping time and go for the furthest date (so four days) and add that to the first date that shows. So December 1st plus 4 days. Now Maths isn't my strong point but I'm almost certain 1 plus 4 does t equal 14? Definitely getting our $185 express fee back!

I was home when this was delivered. No attempt to knock on the door. The boxes were just dumped on my doorstep so close to the door that it couldnā€™t be opened. Absolutely pathetic service,Iā€™ll be making sure to make a special request for this so called freight company to never be used again with any large orders that I make. Didnā€™t have the total nightmare service everybody here seems to have had. Delivery wasnā€™t quite as fast as I would have liked, but with some digging I was able to find a phone number, I was helped by a staff member who sounded as though they had been receiving complaints and abuse all day. I think seeing these reviews I was expecting a debacle, and that expectation coloured the whole experience and I was pleasantly surprised to receive my goods today in good shape. The driver even carried them inside for my partner. Everybody be nice and chill out on the Internet! šŸ˜Ž

Despite the many issues others have experienced, I'm pleased to say I have not had a problem with delivery. We purchased a new bed, it was picked up and I was sent an email and txt advising of when it would arrive, including a time window of 3 hours. The driver rang me about 15 minutes before he arrived to make sure I was home - he then rang when he arrived and dropped off the bed. No issues at all and a really seamless and easy process.

All the bad reviews made me nervous, however was given a 5 day date range of when it would be delivered on their tracking. On the 4th day received an email in the morning it will be delivered that day. Followed the truck in real time on tracking, was delivered no problem and the driver was quick and efficient. ETA wasn't reliable but I made myself available the whole day just in case. Came from the Keysborough warehouse and had a playground delivered.

I wish I could rate this company 0. The worst delivery experience in my lifetime. They delivered the package on 28/02. The driver was on the phone all time, he did not check the item and even he didn't ask me to sign or check the item. After 5 mins I realized that the item is not mine, it has a different name and different address on it. Called customer service and they put me on hold to call the driver and said the driver will sort it out by the afternoon, and the driver did not show up. Called them a day after and they said the driver will sort it out by 5 pm, I even canceled my GP appointment to stay home, and guess what, again the driver didn't show up and even no one called me to tell me that they cannot do it today. Called them again today and they said the driver will do it today by 5 pm today. What do you think? shall I wait again?

I ordered a mattress and the carrier was Hunter Express. People on the phone were very nice and advised me on the few occasions i called. Delivery was on time despite ordering during holiday season, so no issue at this level either. The person who delivered me was however pretty rude. He left my parcel on the wrong side of the building even though i gave as much details as i could for them to find the right spot. When i saw him i explained he delivered at the wrong place, and he told me to take the 43kg parcel on my shoulder and carry it myself to the right entrance. What annoys me the most is that he left the parcel standing again the wall, preventing the old lady who live there to exit her appartment. A part of the parcel was preventing the door to open. Luckily i was tracking the delivery closely while working from home, but why the need to be so rude? Why placing the parcel in the door way?if i was indeed living where the parcel was left, i would have had to push the door strong enough to open it, and 43 kg would have fallen on the items/pots/plants left right at the front. I would try to avoid online merchant using this company in the future

I get a notification at 11am saying the driver is an hour away. He didn't show up till 4pm. He just left it out in the open for someone to walk off the streets and take it. I will never use this hunter express ever again I recommend that nobody used this company if you want to be lied to and wait over a month for your delivery to be delivered but have to drive to pick up your item because the delivery never was delivered. I ordered something a month ago and only received it today because I had to drive an hour out of my way to pick it up because hunter express is the most cheapest and most unreliable courier company in Australia. Guys do yourself a favor and use another courier company. I wish I read the reviews prior to using this horrible company. Thank God from today I never ever ever ever have to deal with this company again. What a horror story. If I could leave -5 stars I would. Get your act together.

If there was an ability to get a negative score this company would deserve it. A full week to get from Melb to some depot in Geelong, and then they can't advise when on earth it will be delivered from this depot. Given we actually need the large items being delivered, we said would just collect from the depot ourselves - apparently not possible as no one knows where our items actually are. I thought knowing where goods were and delivering them in a semi-reasonable time frame was what freight companies did - not this one. If you purchase something that needs delivery don't under any circumstances let the seller book 'Hunter Express.

Terrible customer service and late delivery I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the postal service. My order delivery from Myer is well passed the 1-3 business day delivery promise and there has been no communication from them as to why? My order has been setting with them in their depo for days and is not moving at all. I have tried contacting the postal service multiple times, only been able to get through once to be advised that it will take another week for them to be able deliver. There has been no prior communication from the postal service about why the package is late or when it is expected to be delivered. This is very frustrating, as I need the package for an important project. I am also concerned about the safety of the package. I am disappointed with the customer service from the postal service, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I will also be making a complaint to the supplier Myer who posted my stock with them. I hope that the postal service will take my complaint seriously and investigate the matter. I would also like to be compensated for the inconvenience that I have experienced.

I got email that the mattress is delivered at around 2 pm today, I checked the phone and went out to check but nothing was there. I contacted the seller and they sent me the image as proof that it has been delivered. The package in the image appears to be small doesnā€™t seem mattress would fit into such small box. This is an update on my original rating, I have just read all the negative reviews, I am horrified that there so many, I totally agree with each and everyone of them, I actually managed to talk to someone in their call centre a couple of weeks ago, I explained to them that my husband is wheel chair bound and without his chair he is stuck at home, we do have a mobility scooter we live in a semi rural area, I am 66 and I am not strong enough to put it in the car, he has only got out of hospital 2 weeks ago so we don't have a spare wheelchair.....rant over

Redelivery took more than two weeks, once you book a redelivery you just have to hope that they decide to ship on a day where you're home. Emailing one hour before and not texting or calling IN ADVANCE must be inefficient and result in a lot of redeliveries. If you care about getting your item(s) delivered with sufficient prior notice or in a timely manner I would suggest you find a different avenue of delivery.

Hunter Express were supposed to pick up an item for return from Amazon over 2 months ago. 3 separate days I was told to wait from 9am-5pm for their courier to retrieve the item and EVERY, SINGLE, TIME they didn't show up. What an absolutely useless company. Their phone staff confirmed each day that "Yes the driver is en-route" so I ask "will they call or text when they're here?" "no they just show up"... no one ever showed up - fantastic workflow! Truly a marvel of modern technology. Avoid at ALL COSTS. Drinking bleach, self castration, flying a hot air balloon into power lines, watching star wars VIII 10 times, bungee jumping into croc infested water, gouging your eyes out and being impaled by a gazelle are all preferable to using this courier service. I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.

No text/call or any update re. when my package would be. Just a buzz on a weekday waking me up. I asked who it was and the driver screamed at me ' OPEN THE DOOR' . I opened the door and he threw my box (38kg in the lobby). He needed a wheel trolley to move it, you'd think he'd be able spend 30 seconds and wheel it to my door as I gave him access to my lift. Reported to company to change their delivery company.

Ok this is the second time one of my shops delivers with you guys DISSAPOINTED! I bought a rug not a cheap one and you guys had to rip the package and damage the rug!
