Very very disappointing. Not sure if it's the local drivers fault, but there's a lot serieriously wrong with the way the company operates. Setup and organisations is unusual, not like most courier companies. Instead of offering an okay to leave parcel at the door if not home options for customers upfront right at the start, they leave a tag card giving you information on websites and/or phone numbers to contact. This is okay. But what follows next is outrageous. Website is useless, it's not clear and not easy to get your questions answered. When you ring them, you can not talk to a person, you get a recorded message, and then a big run around of options and choices that did not get me any appropriate results. Apparently the company in Australia is changing over to incorporate TNT with FedEx...and I guess that's why the website was insufficient and leafing to deadens. Maybe they need to upgrade and modify the website to get through that change over time. After several phone calls and emails I was finally able to get some communication to pass on the message that it was okay to leave the parcel if not at home. 10 days after the initial first attempt to deliver my parcel....it finally turned up. The local courier driver told me he had to ask the company if he had permission to Re-deliver it....that's why I say...why don't they give the option to leave the parcel if you're not home straight up upfront in the first place. That would have made me one happy customer. All I wanted was my parcel asap. I'll never use FedEx again. Not my choice. FedEx Australia need to lift their game.

My personal experience with this company was less than satisfactory. The company failed to print out a label with the correct address as supplied by me. That resulted in them being unable to deliver my package. I then called them on multiple occasions where I specified the address and asked for a delivery update. I was given the same answer between 24-48 hours. The staff were rude at best talking over me and were unable to give me an answer as to where the package actually was. After two weeks of calling I eventually had to drive to their depot to collect the package. Once I got there it took a considerable amount of time to find the said package that still had not had the label updated after numerous attempts. If you are considering using this company be warned they are unprofessional and lack the knowledge to actually assist their clients.

Every now and again parcels go to here for us to collect, sometimes there is 1 guy doing all the "customer service" but unless you can find that 1 guy, you will be waiting a while. I understand all the drivers are busy, but maybe FedEx could employ a receptionist to actually do customer collections.

This is the second time I've had a parcel marked as delivered but nowhere to be seen, not even a card. Details tell me that it was signed by "refer to image" but there is no image. Apparently it's a common thing they do, to mark a parcel as delivered then deliver it hours or days later - this is not on, it's so dodgy and completely invalidates the whole use of tracking. What happens if it's never delivered? Bet they won't take responsibility. And can't even contact the centre easily either, makes you jump through hoops to find where your parcel is at, which wouldn't even be an issue if they didn't mark parcels as delivered when they're not! If I had any choice, I would never chose to have any item come through Fedex.

I had 2 part order from the US to Moonah, the first half arrived fine but the second half kept getting delayed until ā€˜tomorrowā€™ every day for 2 weeks, before finally getting dropped off at some random post office. I was then told Iā€™d have 5 days to collect my package before it got sent back again. I donā€™t think they even attempted to deliver it

Just like the others. 1. No one local to contact. 2. Paid express delivery just have it sit in the depot because I wasnā€™t at home when they delivered it. At 11AM Iā€™m at work. 3. I couldnā€™t even have the option to pick it up before 4PM that afternoon, even though on the SWMY website (on the slip they leave behind) claims that the depot will be open between 9-5:30PM weekdays. Something clearly needs to be fixed. This is a logistical nightmare.

I should have read the reviews here before posting my expensive electronics via FedEx internationally from Singapore to Hobart. I had specifically requested that my package be delivered upon direct signature. Apparently, it seems that basic instructions are not heeded by the delivery personnel and my $2k computer monitor was left on my front porch which faces a busy main road for the entire day. Luckily, my housemate arrived home early and took the package in. Unbelievable. If you want a peace of mind for your packages to be delivered securely to a destination, do NOT go with FedEx. Now I am hoping that my final package of my PC case is delivered safely. Never again! Update: The delivery man left my second package of the computer on my doorstep too. Ridiculous. Iā€™m going with other couriers from now on.

Driver left a card in the letter-box without any tick to explain why. My wife was at home and can hear the gate open from her office and she heard nothing. The driver appears not to have bothered to come into our premises and knock on the door. Despite two long conversations with the Help Centre, an attempt to get a re-delivery failed the day after so I drove to the depot this morning and my parcel was on the shelf, not even allocated to a van for a further delivery attempt. The parcel itself arrived from the UK in less than a week but thereafter the service here in Tasmania has been inexplicably casual. What a shame...

Seems like there are serious systemic issues based on the two times I have been sent items using this provider through this depot. Essentially it's a poor communication issue with items being held for delivery for extended times but not letting the customer know. Unable to communicate with the depot except through an international call centre. Depot is locked up like fort Knox with misleading signs to entry. Staff defensive and one even blamed the sender for not tracking and advising delivery after apparently checking that his was company policy. There appears to be no feedback mechanism or interest in process improvement at least at the grass roots level. Maybe someone in management with sufficient authority will read this.

4 days after an ā€œexpressā€ package was due to be delivered, TNT do not know where it is or when it will be delivered. Staff via telephone are beyond pointless. Staff at their Hobart depot have developed poor customer service into an art form. Find any other delivery service available from carrier pigeon to walking to Melbourne to collect it yourself - it will be both more convenient and faster.

A super important express freight delivery from Sydney arrived in Tasmania only to sit at their deposit for two working days after it arrived there without any attempt to deliver. EVERY delivery I get sent with these guys is a complete shambles, they never contact you to give you updates, they don't knock on the the door even when you're home. Even when you drive over half an hour to get to their depot they can't/won't tell you where the item is, they won't find it for you and they simply don't care. When you make Australia Post look like the safest/quickest/best delivery option on earth there is definitely a problem.

Very friendly service people on the phone - when it comes to actually achieving much such as getting your parcels or their ability to track and provide up to date information about a dangerous goods shipment FORGET IT! You'd imaging that they'd have better systems for expensive DG freight services, that would be logical but they plead the opposite in their defence! Beware, it seems they are a fact free zone.

I hope that this business is a front for money laundering or something because their attempt as a package delivery company is pathetic. They had issues finding my address as it is not listed on Google Maps (though can be easily found via other free online map services and a standard google search, and no other delivery service has had issues), however failed to notify me. My parcel remained in their warehouse for some time before I followed up. It took four phone calls and an email to head office get my package delivered over a week after my initial phone call. Head office seemed helpful and was confused why my parcel was not being delivered and continually advised me that this depot was not getting back in contact with them. They just don't seem to care about providing a reasonable service.

Freight companies on the whole are not great currently. I do understand there are enormous freight pressures at the moment. But this company is totally lacking in any sort of customer service.

We would give zero stars if possible. We had a big shelving unit delivered. Delivery driver refused to bring the shelves to our office. They just left the pallet out in the loading zone at the back of our building. Luckily 4 kind tradies offered to help bring the shelving unit up for us. Worst experience ever. This is the second time this has happened. We have never dealt with such a rude unprofessional driver. We will be making sure our supplies do not use this courier again.

EVERY TIME - no attempted delivery, no card left (says they have) have to chase where it is for 2 hours, eventually have to go to depot to collect as driver is too incompetent to ring a doorbell and find that someone is actually at home working. If you can't even attempt a delivery should you be a delivery driver at all?

UPDATE: After leaving a complaint via their website and getting in contact with the sender, The driver returned a couple of hours later and I had a couple of follow up phone calls from the TNT Customer Service team to confirm that the item had been delivered. I've been waiting three days now for a package to be picked up, called customer service on 2nd day and was told the driver marked it as picked up but no show again today after they re-booked it. Every time I ship through DHL and the only time my dad chose fedex to send me something , we ended up vowing never to use them again. Extremely bad and slow service , paid price for international priority only for my parcel to be sitting at Hobart for past two days without delivery. When called to check they said they cannot deliver , everyday rescheduling the delivery . Ended up going and picking the parcel. I would recommend donā€™t use FedEx unless you are left with no option.

Simple instruction to leave a package at the depot (which I was told by staff would not be a problem, was not done and went straight onto a truck which is now a major problem for me potentially costing me a $2200 job. Ā The system communication breakdown is unspeakably poor and the lack of any local contact makes it hopelessly frustrating. Ā At this point I feel as though TNT will no longer be viable for our transport services and I will be recommending our suppliers don't use TNT for our deliveries. Ā It so simply could have been avoided, The problem I don't believe is the phone staff as they have been polite and helpful to me it appears to be the system which is at fault.
