We booked a local job (Melb metro) with Toll via third party broker website (TPB) and goods left our warehouse with Toll NQX 16/06/2022. After ten days of waiting, on 27/06/22 our customer asked where his freight was and we rang Big Post to follow up. TPB advised that the last scan was in Altona depot and then pack disappeared and they need 3 days to investigate. After this conversation with TPB I rang Toll directly and they advised that theyâre looking for the pack in all Toll depots across the country. Altona Depot responded that they donât have this pack. I kindly asked Toll to check Altona depot one more time. Again, Iâve been advised it will take about three business days for investigation. on 4/06/222, after endless calls to both companies with no outcome I posted on one of the Toll's top managers LinkedIn page asking for help. Job# 1273104 was magically found in Altona depo on 5/07/22. I had a call from Toll in the morning and advised that freight is found and will be delivered same day. Magic? In summary, goods were collected 16/06/2022, but delivered 5/07/2022. No compensation offered neither from TPB nor from Toll, knowing that both companies charge us futile and detention fees whenever they can. The reason why we book our jobs via TPB is because having an account with Toll is absolutely ridiculous. I was chased by one of Toll sales people for over a month to organise an account with our company since we are wholesalers and retailers of plywood and supply companies Australia wide. This agent had all details of the various items we ship, most of them are 2.44 long, 1.22 wide, 0.4 m high packs (880 kg) of plywood. We also ship eParcelâs of smaller dimensions like 1.22*0.61*0.05 m up to 22 kg. However, when our account has been created (and this was yet another tediously long and stressful process that I donât want to even mention here) we were trying to book our first job and found that Toll system does not accept dimensions and weights of our shipped goods. Somehow when we book via TPB, Toll accepts our dimensions and weights. Is this also magic? After I contacted our Toll agent and asked him this question he advised that âweâre unable to help you, please book our jobs via TPB :-)â I canât express the level of my frustration and disappointment. Not to mention my interaction with Toll support team members where I get absolutely random irrelevant responses to my questions.
