Got a notification to say parcel was ready to be picked up. Office hard to find in industrial district and collection times are listed as 9am-5pm weekdays. When finding the office thereā€™s a sign saying parcel collection 8am - 4pm weekdays. I left work early to collect this and arrived at 4:30ā€¦ As far as Iā€™m aware no attempt was made to deliver the parcel to my address.

Ordered some LIVE aquarium Fish with this ā€œpremiumā€ postage service costing me $29.00 Tracking shows arriving today. I patiently wait all afternoon, now 5:15 (start work at 5:00pm), and the package has not arrived. ā€œPresumabelyā€ now, it will arrive tomorrow when Iā€™m out working. That potentially means that the kids package of live fish worth $180 plus $29 postage will sit in the sun and the fish will be dead. WHAT A PATHETIC POSTAL SERVICE

Every other parcel has been delivered to my address or for pick up at one of three nearby Post Offices. I am overseas and had arranged for my neighbour to pick up my parcel from the PO. This is the one and only time a parcel has been left at the depot and there is no option on the Startrack website to address this problem. At no point does it advise or warn you the AP tracking number wont work on the Startrack website, you have to guess you have to use the Startrack tracking number after you find it.

I will not use this company again. I received a message that the package was delivered on March 17th, but it did not arrive until next Wednesday, March 22nd. The next morning, I went to the office to collect the package and asked why they didn't leave a notification card in my mailbox. The office staff and the delivery driver made excuses, saying they couldn't get in because the apartment gate was not open, but they didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Of course, they didn't even offer an apology. I was very surprised and embarrassed. It doesn't make sense that I had to pay $30 for this kind of service. I hope they give a strong warning to the two employees. They ignore their customers too much. I don't want to give any stars/rating.

Simply the worse freight company to deal with - utterly useless to the point that if we have suppliers that use them we will look elsewhere rather than purchase from them. Unfair for those business but we cant afford the time and expense running around chasing Star Track all the time. At all costs avoid using the company

I have 6' fence with dogs. Instead of leaving me a card in the letterbox, they threw my fragile box over the fence which smashed the contents. They then had the cheek to make my supplier arrange for a refund of the broken contents, when it was their driver's fault it was smashed.

Paid for 'StarTrack Premium Limousine All-Star Rapid' service for an order to come from Sydney to Cairns. Assured at the time that it would be at my offices on Monday (it was picked up on Friday) as it was coming by air ('Premium service'). It is now Wednesday and StarTrack has no idea where the shipment is! (I found this information after waiting on hold for 1 hour and 13 minutes...I was given a 'report number' and told someone would be calling me back by day's end...that was yesterday!) BEYOND USELESS!!!! I use UPS to have parcels shipped from Europe (Germany) to Australia (Cairns) on a weekly basis. It takes 4 days from pickup at the factory in Berlin to get to Australia. It can then take up to a week for the parcels to get from Botany Bay to Cairns (stopping of course in Brisbane for a few days)!!!! Completely crazy and the WORST courier service I have ever come across in 35 years of business throughout the globe. A courier service that stops work at 5pm on a Friday and restarts on Monday morning hahahahahahahahaha.

Waited all day for parcel from cairns to mareeba, parcel went back on the truck to cairns not delivered even after phoning twice and being promised that the parcel would be delivered before 5pm, phoned for the 3rd time at around 5 pm and told it went back to cairns with no reason given and then advised it will be delivered before 12MD the following day. I would not recommend StarTrack, as not delivered when promised.

Gave me no SMS updates on the whereabouts of my package, then after a third phonecall told me it was in transit, I looked at my tracking app and it said "in transit" waited all afternoon for it and it still has not arrived, might have to go for a drive down to the depot tomorrow. I would not recommend these guys to anyone especially if their parcel is worth a lot of money, I currently don't even know where mine is, either in a depot or the back of a van who knows!

Firstly they delivered to wrong address, not their fault, but the resident of that address knew it was wrong address and gave parcel back to driver who took it back to depot, now what would you do, ring sender and ask for correct address, RIGHT! but no I had to ask for it to be redirected, this apparently takes more than 3 or 4 days, so I am still waiting..............?

Try messaging them on Instagram and FACEBOOK Messenger to establish delivery issues and you will not get any reply whatsoever. An absolutely useless company with no pride and credibility.

No email/SMS to let me know they were on their way to deliver my package to my home. No attempt made to drive up a private road to deliver the package to me. No phone call to me to let me know that they are at the end of the private road, so I could walk 100m to collect it from them. A card left in my letterbox - there was no tick in the "collect from depot" box, so I was uncertain what to do next to obtain my package. The consignment number on the card was different to the original consignment number I received when the package was first sent, making me wonder if they were sending me the wrong package. Some letters in the consignment number were eligible, so I could not use the number to get relevant information from their website about what to do next. Tried to use the barcode on the card instead to get information about my delivery, but the website said it did not exist. When I tried typing in my original consignment number, the website provided no information as to how to access my package. This level of service is not worth $110, in my opinion.

If more delivery companies had people like Daz working for them the world would be a better place. Also very impressed that our Dell computer ordered just 2 days ago has been delivered today by StarTrack. Good work all round.

What every other commenter says is true. Terrible service for non-freight or individual consumers. Why any firm or business would use this as a "premium option" is beyond me. I ordered a product overnight at an additional cost from Brisbane that I hoped would arrive before a trip. Apparently, it arrived three days later, but "ready for pickup" at this Cairns center rather than directly to my address. No SMS or email notification that the package arrived - I had to manually track the package from the vendor's link. Their address wasn't listed on the tracking. I pulled up to this poorly marked office in an industrial district. The (helpful) staff member said it isn't there because it arrived by air and sent me across town to an Australian Post depot. Post said it was never sent by the vender with the tracking data lost. I called the vender who definitely sent it. They issued a new product to me while following a lost item claim with Star Track, but the other issue is I leave the country in three days. Two hours of calls and running around and three weeks after my initial order, I'm certain I'll never have what I ordered in time to depart Australia.

What a pov pack delivery system star track is, here in Cairns is the worst service I`ve come across, the item gets here without any issue until it has to be delivered locally by rickshaw , this is where it all falls apart, no care ,no professionalism no worries. You get a notice that you cannot respond to, no approx time of delivery, no asking for signature ,next thing you get a notice saying that item could not be left or delivered and you have to contact useless electronic voice to redirect or pick up .BUT WAIT there`s more, you cannot pick up locally (or talk to someone locally) UNTIL you have been contacted again by text. Its FRIDAY, now have to wait until next TUESDAY for me to complete 45 klm round trip at my expense to pick item. THIS IS A THIRD WORLD service,( Cairns local end of service) oh wait ,hang on ,India can do this without the lazy ,uncaring, useless arrogant backward delivery service. I had no choice as the seller does not tell you they are using Star death until you pay and get all shipping and tracking info. REALLY needed this item this weekend ,but hey who cares, blame everything on covid, it takes 48 hours from Melbourne to get here (excellent) and then 4 days(local yokealls) at my expense to get it to my door. Do not buy from sellers who use this this cheap nasty service to deliver your item, find out first who they use and change it or buy else where. Under worked ,overpaid ,You cannot contact personally , you are herded down a one way street for outcomes. You don`t deserve to be called an Australian local company here in Cairns. Things go wrong ,but Star Death makes it wrong here in Cairns.Will anyone contact me from Star Death regarding this appalling review of their company. NOPE ,who cares,Covid.

These companies are a nightmare to deal with. If you call them up, you have to yell at a bot automated machine for an hour and then the on hold just hangs up on you after another hour. The only reason these mugs have customers is cause they monopolize the market and there is no competition to drive them out. The company i bought the product from, did not provide alternatives which i will now hold against the company they do business with.

Absolutely disappointing service. I was waiting for a parcel that was supposed to be delivered. I didn't get a note that it was a failed delivery, when I finally got hold of customer service they weren't helpful at all. They said that they would resend it. Yet again, no delivery or note that there was a failed delivery. I tried to contact for a pickup but got stone walled again. They never tried to contact me to organise for pick-up either. Still waiting, I have no idea when and how I will be able to get my stuff. I've tried hard to keep my cool but I'm running out of patience. This is the first time I ever left a review like this. I think it's well deserved.

Since the 29th of April my parcel was on board for delivery both days 29th an 30th no show at all, all day so called to see if I could just pick it up no they reckon itā€™ll have to go to Innisfail for pick up in person so my parcel has either sat at the deport for the past 4 days or been in so clowns delivery van the whole time this Courier service is just a joke donā€™t put on your tracking that itā€™s on board for delivery if you canā€™t do the delivery never again will I use StarTrack again

If there was a way this deserves ZERO stars for service (lack thereof) This has to be the worst courier service. 72 hours since parcel arrived to the depot less than 25km away. No-one accountable to actually chat and enquire where item is physically so can pick up myself. Same repeated message "they can only escalate". Even Star Track themselves cannot speak to anyone at the depot.

Terrible service - package left on verandah in plain view. No knock on the door to let us know it was there. Also, one of our clients had their parcel thrown over a 1.8m fence into their garden. Couldn't be bothered pressing the button on the gate for entry.

I think there is a problem In there Tracking system First it shows that arrived to the last point then it shows that went back to another city and said the delivery not successful so I was worried what is happening but luckily I I received my parcel perfectly fine on that same day to my front door and thankfully all that took just a week . If not for the bad tracking system I would have given them a 5 stars.
