I was home, I saw the driver here in Morphett Vale, could not get to the door in time before I see a van drive away, no worries. However pick up is not only not today, was supposed to be Friday (today is Monday) but tomorrow, but in Wingfield, don't even worry with a "driver" just send me a email saying I can pick it up from the depot myself at least then it would be Monday not Tuesday. Luckily filing a complaint with the ACCC is easier than dealing with attempting to get my package delivered from a delivery company.

On April 16, 2021, at Railway Terrace, Mile End, SA, a Startrack cargo vehicle with registration number S494 BGS suddenly swerved from the left lane to my lane, causing a collision with my car. The impact pushed my car across the opposite lanes until it came to a stop by the gate post of the Torrens Transmit Mile End depot. The front of my car was completely wrecked, and both side airbags were deployed. I also sustained injuries. Despite the presence of the accident scene and all the evidence against him, the driver refused to admit fault. Even when questioned by the police officer, he claimed not to remember anything. This behavior demonstrates the driver's rudeness, dishonesty, and evasiveness. It's astonishing that a company like Startrack would employ such an untruthful and reckless driver. My intention is not to seek financial compensation alone. It's about receiving an official apology from Startrack for their negligence. Additionally, the driver, who has demonstrated a disregard for truth, should be terminated immediately. This issue goes beyond money; it's about respect, fairness, and trust. These qualities are essential for running a successful business. Regrettably, your response to this incident has been deeply disappointing. Furthermore, as one of the largest professional supply chain companies in Australia and a subsidiary of Australia Post, with a fleet of over 16,000 vehicles, it's baffling that Startrack has not implemented driving recorders in their vehicles. It's akin to a major airline not installing black boxes on its planes. The only plausible explanation is that this omission serves as a deliberate strategy to shield their irresponsible drivers from accountability when they harm innocent individuals. This strategy is premeditated deceit. Startrack's actions reveal a company that lacks integrity and poses a significant threat to Australia's traffic system and public safety. To truly embody the title "STARTRACK," honesty must be prioritized over deception. Cease endangering innocent lives on the road. The eyes of the world are upon you.

The ONLY delivery company that despite being home all day, 100% of the time leave a ‘ I missed you’ note. Clearly they dont even try to deliver. This results in a trip to the depot every time. I am sure its a matter of the letter box card is quicker and easier vs enacted the delivery. I have stayed at home when having other things to do to ensure receipt of goods. It makes no difference as they are ‘ missed you’ card operators only.

It good to see that Auspost now owns Startrack however if you do miss a delivery, do expect to pickup at the near post office but at Startrack Depo. This is something I can't get my head around. You now have the speed, how about work on your speed. You definitely had time to consolidate and expedite....since 2012 buyout..!

Star Trash express. Service so fast, they don’t even have time to deliver. By far the worst courier around, their drivers love to leave slips in the mailbox without attempting to deliver. Had an innovative delivery failure excuse today. Road has a local traffic only sign so the driver decided he was unable to “access the property”. Did not even need to leave a slip, bravo - what will they think of next 👏

I have to give a shout out to the delivery driver Sam M (ID 015) in Adelaide for his wonderful good old fashioned customer care and service today. Sam went out of his way to call the depot and find out where my parcel was and which driver had it onboard and request that that driver drop it off asap. That driver did indeed drop it off within 10 minutes. If it wasn't for Sam and his willingness and helpfulness, I would have been minus an important parcel today. WELL DONE AND THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Do not use StarTrack. Paid $15 for delivery which is appalling on its own. Was home at the time of delivery. Left a card for collection. However collection is post office in the city. I'm at North Eastern suburbs. Can't they leave my parcel at the local post office. What a joke this is. Tried to call, of course they are shut on a weekend. So is the collection centre. Tried to re schedule to re send, the website crashed. Hopeless!

Very disappointed with the customer service received by star track. My delivery wasn’t delivered as it was an “incorrect address” which it was not they just went to the wrong street. I rang the customer service straight away and explained this and they said my parcel would be delivered the following day (it wasn’t and no email/updated tracking etc was sent). Another call made the following day and they explained they will make a note and will be delivered the following day (today), no updated tracking and hasn’t arrived. After multiple emails sent and no reply I still am yet to receive my delivery or even get an updated tracking/ email explaining why. Very appalled with the customer service.

Tragic customer service. Not home when delivered, no notification of delivery received. Had to go next day to pick up from Wingfireld. Goods not at front gate reception. Lined up with others waiting for stuff. Signage is poor for first timers getting to the place. Waited over 20 mins until goods bought to gate. Not good

Absolutely terrible. I watched the drivers pull up, stop, then drive away multiple times without getting out of the vehicle. Calling Star track to find out what is going on is Absolutely no help at all. Terrible customer service from the receivers point of view. I've contacted sellers to tell them not to use Star track anymore.

Depot located way out of central city area and have to wait 20 mins for someone to find the packages and then wheel them out for you at the gate which is 400m from their storage area. Terrible level of service with clearly no concern for customers and respect to the value of their time. Would not recommend if can chose another courier company in Adelaide. Do better StarTrack.

Honestly the worst service for delivery in Adelaide, you can tell by the hundreds of reviews and mine is no different, delivered half my package and drop the rest off at the post office, have important items last week that was needed for work, they had to be picked up by me at there headquarters, this company is complete trash.

My experience with Star Track is excellent. I had tiles sent from Melbourne to Adelaide by Aramex Courier. Shocking! Try them - then complain. Not because it's Xmas but because of staff shortages. No notifications of where tiles are at - none! No idea if they even have them. Tile company says they got sent and that's all I know. Do not go Aramex. I have my Xmas goodies through Star Track

Address on the calling card is not correct, so every customer has to navigate grand Junction road for no reason then there is a sign on the door to go to a different road off south road. Had to walk through puddles across a truck depot to a security office to find out my package is somewhere in the warehouse I first went to. It then takes half hour for someone to find it and walk it across to the other transportable. Everyone who works there has as much energy as you'd expect for a government department pretending to be a business

I've had several 'deliveries' from StarTrack. I live in semi-rural area about 45 mins from the Adelaide CBD. StarTrack don't even try to deliver it to my address, they just dump the parcel at the local Community Post Office. I then get an email from StarTrack to say my parcel has been delivered, and then a text from the post office to come and pick it up. Its just lazy. It's also ripping off the local Community Post Officer as he doesn't get compensated for this extra handling. If it was a normal post office - they do get compensated. The added irony is that often when I purchase bulky items, the website says they say they can't deliver to PO Boxes. Then StarTrack dump it at the post office and i have to go and collect from my PO Box. *sigh* 2 stars because they haven't actually lost anything of mine.

Absolutely appalling. This is what their customer service told me to do: If your package is not delivered you can 'request' re-deliery for the next day, but if it's not delivered then then you need to call and 'request' it to be delivered the next day and then the next day, and then the next day etc. I'm 4 days in and have called them 4 times and I've just got it keep doing it until eventually someone finally puts it on a truck for delivery. No explanation why this is the case, you just have to do it.

Absolutely appalling service - I wouldn't use this carrier for any reason. I wasn't home at time of delivery and was left a card, with no useful information on it at all to arrange alternate delivery. Tried to ring, waited over an hour and gave up. Tried to contact them via website, the site crashed and couldn't even send an email. Bloody hopeless. I will not be bothering to contact them again, they can redeliver. Is this the best we can expect from Australia Post out-sourcing its work. God help us.

It's no surprise that alot of the reviews on here are saying the same thing. Terrible service. Was home at the time of the delivery and received card saying they missed me. You're MUCH better off using Australia Post. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Ordered a $5 item that cost $15 for Express postage. The item took over 7 days to be delivered then there was a card left in the mailbox at 8:30pm saying they missed me. I was sitting in my loungeroom all day and all night right next to the front door. No delivery attempt was made, they just dropped the sorry I missed you card in my mailbox and left. When they are so slow with delivery why cant they leave a $5 item on my doorstep absolutely useless. I used Aust Post express delivery at the same time and the item arrived in 2 days. Avoid StarTrack at every opportunity

Honestly, the other reviews scared me when I got a card left for my package. However, my experience was extremely smooth as I had a flight the next day, and they promptly organised an urgent pickup once I called and picked it up in the next hour and no dramas at all.

Having read the other reviews here, I was fully expecting the worst. I however, had a perfect experience. Yes, I got a "sorry we missed you" letter - but that was ok, because I had three large parcels delivered to my home address whilst I was at work. I called up, arranged an appointment for pickup from the Wingfield depot, promptly received a phone call the next day saying my parcels were ready, and picked them up the following morning. They had them prepared in the front security office and I didn't have to wait at all. Literally nothing to complain about.

Deliver when I am at work - no contact to negotiate time or changes on the day. This means they take it back to depot. I have to reschedule. They could leave at local Post office, that would be acceptable, but they don’t. The delays in delivery by taking things to depot are intolerable. Needs improvement.
