Poor customer service! Poor communication skills. Staff needs to be trained in terms of customer attendance. Lodged a passport application and paid for priority service, opted for a collection/pick up to get the passport asap. For some reason, austpost staff filed my application to be delivered via registered post now I will have to cancel my travel plan and will probably miss my grand mother’s wake and send off which was the main reason I applied for the passport. I would not recommend this place. Staff attitude here don’t even deserve a single star.

I am in full support of our older generation still in the workforce. I know it’s Christmas, Australia Post North Lakes may have been short staff due to the high demand of freight been sent interstate. Which may have been the reason why they’ve employed a senior lady to work there last week Friday. I’m a firm believer that our senior citizens are a great example of what hard work is all about. However, this particular senior white lady who wore glasses. Decided to treat me with disrespect. I felt she was racist as their was a gentleman who was waiting in the queue letting people behind him go first, as he was waiting for his lovely Mrs to complete the necessary forms at the side table. 2x white people had gone in front of me, which the senior white lady never batted an eyelid. But once the older gentleman signalled that I can move in front of him. She decided to make a scene about it. I felt disgusted and appalled. Australia Post North Lakes please pull her to the side and offer some sort of counselling as this is unacceptable and has no place in our community. It’s about inclusivity not exclusivity.

I've been a local for the past 12 years and never had a bad enough experience to leave a review until now. Today I was served by an employee who obviously had an issue with my presence, I am unsure if the issue was in regards to my race, presentation and/or due to the circumstance of my visit but unfortunately while trying to collect a post on behalf of my partner I felt completely disrespected, from the initial encounter I was ignored and by the end had my licensed thrown toward me and my post pushed to the side, needless to say the visit was uncomfortable.

North Lakes PO is corrupt! I was posting a designer handbag. Guy came up to me and ask if I had anymore to sell. Anyhow I lodge that parcel. The tracking said accepted at NL but nothing after that. I do not believe it every left the PO to go somewhere else. This guy was scouting what people were posting and he saw I was posting an LV so I think it was stolen by staff. It was an expensive vintage item and my buyer wanted the bag not a refund. AusPost didn’t care and couldn’t do anything about it. The staff did care. I should have pushed the case further. I use Kallangur now and they are lovely and I’ve never had anything else go missing. North Lakes need investigating!!!

Machines the self service are broken...been broken for a while so they have just junk on them. Makes the queues extremely long. Really horrible experience, makes Australia Post look incompetent.

I have literally escalated further up the line three times about the staff and particularly the manager of this store, three times I went to collect my parcel and was told it was not mine (even after giving them the collection card etc) also told it was sent elsewhere, had to go to burpengary sorting facility to collect my parcel because they sent it back. (I didn't collect apparently, I was told it wasn't mine) The manager even had the nerve to say to me why should we serve you, you made a complaint about us. Yes I did because you won't give me my parcel. It is the most rudest place around, and the manager thinks she is better than everyone else. I only go here when I really have to, albeit begrudgingly

I have a PO Box at North Lakes and the level of service we receive is fantastic. I frequently get parcels - since Covid mainly shop online. Picking up early they know your name, are so friendly and truly go the extra mile. I have been seen taking cards out of box to be met at the window with parcels ready. Today my tickets blew back into the post office and I thought won’t line up and take up time when there are people waiting will just come back before opening. Walking away one of the girls chased me as had picked up cards. Said come around side and will get parcels. What good customer service. We also have a business at Chermside that cannot get mail due to location so all mail for that store goes to PO Box. Firstly Chermside PO great as send to North lakes sometimes with our PO Box number on sometimes not. We always get it. I cannot fault any of the staff at North Lakes. They are efficient, friendly and always helpful. And Nathan’s friendly greeting early in the morning is always a good start to the work day. Thank you so much.

I find the people at this Post Office to have great customer service and are very good at their jobs. Considering they have to attend to passport issues and package peoples parcels who should be able to do it themselves, as well as dealing with standard postal issues, they do outstanding work. A mature age lady with black hair is particularly helpful, pleasant and has great customer service.

Save your sanity and submit your/kids’ passport application somewhere else. Nit picking will drive you insane. Not to mention the wrong information I was given re photos. One lady said both photos needed to be signed, so had to go back and get the guarantor to sign the other photos. Came back only to be told by another lady, and as per the application, that only one photo has to be signed by a guarantor. Then I was told that I need to fill out a declaration form to explain having my passport still in my maiden name,despite my kids’ birth certificates showing my maiden name. Then they wouldn’t take my husband’s birth certificate, an original because it had a tear in it (well it is a few decades old), but also wouldn’t accept a new extract! Then was told I had my kid’s city filled in wrong. I put Brisbane but apparently I should have put “South Brisbane”. Um, that’s a suburb not a city. A suburb in which hospital is located. So I went to another PO and had it done in under ten minutes, no fuss.

After having a terrible experience with Blue Water Square PO, and having my visa photo rejected, the gentleman at North Lakes was so helpful, even though it was extremely busy. He took the time to go through all the requirements with me step by step, and double checked it with me. Feeling confident the next application won't be rejected. It was so nice to have a patient and highly competent person to complete this process with. He even gave me the photos, without charge, and went above and beyond his service role. Thank-you so much!

I am absolutely gobsmacked at the vitriol dished out at the wonderful people who go to great lengths to assure the customers get the best of treatment. There were a few casual older ladies who were a bit questionable in their dealings with customers but they are no longer there..in the past!!! I use Australia Post North Lakes as a businessman who has little time to squander, I visit almost once or more per day and I can assure everyone that my experience of the wonderful staff deserves nothing but the utmost of praise. I know some of the staff now by name and Lynn and Dianna come to mind but they are all, always the most helpful people you could wish to meet. Give them a break and get real and stop whinging good people of North Lakes !

Self serve machine that accepts cash had 2 people waiting so I just went to the counter to pay. No hello after I said hi how are you. Instead she said you can go to the self serve you know. And I was oh ok I will next time, just today I have coins. Her response was “how many coins, if it’s too many I can’t accept it.” It was $8 and I had mostly gold :/

Always was a pleasure going into this post office, and was just around the corner from Mango Hill Capestone Development. Love the self serve so you don’t have to stand in the line in peak hour. The staff at the self serve are very helpful too.

Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. There is normally a huge queue before 5:00pm so I would suggest going in the morning and more specifically on a week day (This is not their fault though).

Everyone is always helpful and doing their best to serve everyone as quickly as possible. During peak times it can be bedlam and customers get cranky, however the staff remain professional and prompt. Well done all.
