Went in for a passport renewal after Healesville was too worried about their upcoming lunch breaks. The lady at Lilydale did photos and processed my paperwork within in 6 minutes. Very efficient worker.

*Very* unhappy to discover this post office branch is suddenly no longer open on Saturday mornings. During the short time it took me to write this review, there's now been seven customers attempt to use the office. The nearest open branch is 7 KMs drive away in a major shopping centre, which is an increased risk for catching Covid for our vulnerable household. I would have planned differently (would have been awkward but possible) if I had known this office would be closed. Unfortunately my parcel is now urgent. Really not at all impressed by how little care Australia Post has for its customers.

Once again they lose my parcel. It arrived there at 10am yesterday because the parcel locker was full, and was returned to sender 7hrs later. There's no way to ring them. I'm constantly having issues with the incompetence of this place!! FURIOUS!!

Came in to apply for a new passport but accidentally entered my name wrong on my application so I had to redo my application which would involve driving home 30 minutes, then driving back. Instead they gave me their Tablet to use in the store to redo it there and save me traveling ! Anne was incredibly understanding and super helpful in helping me resolve the issue, and Angela was just so funny and pleasant. Very impressed and happy :)

I've been selling on eBay for about 15 years now and in that time have moved 6 times, which means I've had to deal with a lot of different Post Offices. I'll happily go to another suburb if the service is not up to par, and there are some shockers out there. Some have no idea how to deal with the public. I have found the staff and management at Lilydale to be the best in Melbourne. You'd think the franchise stores would be better run, but this PO is consistently on top. It's always busy, but they have 5 windows and will fill them all with staff if needed. The shop is always clean and well stocked, and if you need something in, it'll be there the next day. The staff couldn't be nicer or easier to deal with. After all the abuse and garbage I have to put up with online all day, dealing with them is always a great way to end my work day.

Fairly average post office, staff are generally helpful. Often gets pretty busy. They stock a lot of cheap low quality gift type items (as seen on tv type stuff), I’d recommend against buying any of it.

Staff sent customer out to ask me if i can read because i was parked in mail zone. Mail zone times clearly state 1pm-6pm... i was there at 12pm. How rude and horrible.

This review is not a comment on Australia parcel delivery , which is absolutely pathetic, but rather for the fantastic , happy, and competent service from a lovely lady Lisa, at the front desk . You should be commended on your positive , knowledgeable service given to me while sorting out what has happened to a parcel which the parcel delivery drivers stuffed up , as they do, over and over again. So thanks to Lisa, from Lilydale post office:)

This has some of the longest ques in the area. Don't think that you will be able to pop in quickly at lunchtime and collect that eBay parcel. The staff are good but there is just too much demand.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The service here sucks! I'm a local and have been using this post office for 20 years at least. Every time I come in, this one girl looks at me like I'm scum and then, openly and blatantly, makes a rude gesture and or comment! I'm so sick of it, I've been coming here longer than she's been working! Do you really value your customers? I don't think so....

My customer called me and said the middle aged aussie lady was very rude when she tried to claim her parcel. the rude middle aged aussie lady didnt give the parcel because she couldnt read mandarin characters. I wrote in clear texts of my customer's both mandarin and english name. passport was presented but the rude and dumb lady still wouldnt give the parcel.
