I went to check on a package with a tracking number provided. The older gentleman working there presented an attitude from the very start. Even before I had a chance to explain what I was hoping to achieve, he insisted that the email I had as well as a tracking number was a scam. It took a bit of persistence and persuasion to prompt him to enter the checking number and check the system. As it turned out it was not a scam, the package was real and it was in a distribution centre. Clearly people like that should not be employed in a service industry, where they make a judgement even before they allowed themselves to listen, which is a basic pre requisite for those engaging in the customer based enterprise.
