Went in with a bunch of scarves for cancer ladies in Fiji doing chemotherapy and despite the sad reviews for this location , I found the ladies very helpful in choosing the right box etc . I immediately put the tracking number in the Auspost App and it registered within 1 minute that it was accepted and on its way.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Went today to send a parcel, when I wanted to pay she charged me $8 extra. Before a few days, I went to the post office and asked the Indian lady how much the parcel will cost she said altogether $22. Today I asked how much will it cost after finalising the parcel and the details she said are you willing to go ahead I said yes without knowing how much it will cost and then she said oh it will cost $30 altogether I said well when I came a few days ago to ask for the cost you gave me a different price she said oh no I don’t know who gave you that price its wrong and I was like it was you. Then she said well it's already done and you said you can go ahead raising her rude voice at me. I said well you didn't tell me the full price. She kept saying just pay now it’s already done. She was demanding money from me and she left me with no choice except to pay. HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO LEARN SOME MANNERS AND STOP YELLING AT CUSTOMERS SO THAT THEY HAVE NO CHOICE EXCEPT TO PAY, IF YOU DON’T WANT TO DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY THEN GO FIND A DIFFERENT JOB. TO THE INDIAN LADIES YOU HUNGRY THIEF'S BLOODY SHAME ON YOU BOTH.

I sent a parcel here, handed it over the counter. The parcel was never scanned- according to Aus Post customer service line that means item was created at the store but was never handed to the delivery driver. Store person said there's nothing here without even checking. Who is telling the truth? No idea. I've cut my loss but will never send from here again and will keep my receipt from now on. Having tracking number is not enough.

Have used this LPO many times since moving to the area 12 months ago and have always received excellent service from all the people who work here. At times, I have dropped off 100+ items to be sent and they process them quickly and efficiently and they always smile! :)

Rudest staff !!!! , I came in to do a tax file application and I didn't even get a quarter of the way in the post office and a man came out from no where , pointed at my application in my hand and said " is that your tax file application " and I responded with " yes " he then proceeded to tell me to go and come back another time not before we close ( mind you he said this with the worst attitude ever ) , he never told me the times they are open on the other days, he offered no polite/professional service to come back another day. He instead made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable !! I'm saying this because he proceeded to walk towards me making sure I was walking out of the door and immediately as I turned my back the doors were shut. It is not okay to be rude agressive or intimidating to anybody regardless of their age or social setting, there were a multitude of ways that he could've handled the situation but instead chose to be rude. Looking at all the reviews for this post office its a wonder how their doors are still open, shame on Australia Post for hiring someone like this to represent them . Definetly not proffessional and no customer service skills at all .

The woman gave me a printout of a cost of $188 to open a po box and the man gave me a cost of $168. When I rang the Aust Post they said I had to pay $49. Seems like they are pocketing cash from customers and they are jealous because of where the customer lives.

I went before 5 weeks to send parcel and they charge me express post, and they said it take 2 to 3 weeks. 5 weeks later I was informed by phone to come and collect the parcel from west hoxton post office when I opened the tracking history I realised that it was returned 3 times and no one called me, so I went to the post office and I was welcomed by the two horrible ladies which they don’t want to do anything or not even help, they are greedy for money they take all your money without offering their service . She gave me the parcel and said we can’t send it and here the post office no 131318 call them and see what is your problem we can’t call them and this is your problem go do it at home not here. I said to her how I take it without getting my money back she said do you have the receipt I said yes on my phone, she read it all and she said ok, then she said no I want the actual receipt go home and get it for me, so I called post office and complained to them and about their bad service, and I have a claim no, when the lady from head office helped me out what to do, and they were listening to my conversation and they were scared then when I went back she said I told you to refund your money and you refused, so I replied so you change your words and she started yelling and screaming and telling her employee that I don’t understand, what type of customer service is this I have a complaint no and I am going to take it further by law.. this post office should be closed or to sell it to new owner.. it’s bad management . By the way 1 star is too much for them and their attitude

Called if they could assist with tracking my parcel because I had lost my receipt but was rudely advised they could only help for international parcels. I think this is terrible service especially for the price they charge, for the parcel box and postage. Wouldn't offer any further assistance as they just wanted to end the phone call. You need to understand that you're handling with customers personal items.

Both ladies very unfriendly unhelpful staff, never smiles and just has a flat depressed look all the time. Does not make customers feel welcomed at all. They appear to be the walking dead! I think they are in the wrong line of work. Does not hurt to smile and greet customers every now and then! The afghan? guy that works there on the other hand is wonderful. Always friendly and helpful and smiles.

Disgusting customer service. I dropped off an 18 kg regular box going to Qld this afternoon @ 1:12pm, receipt attached. I have been sending this same box size & weight interstate for the last 26 years. The lady behind the counter asked me to take it to the back room cos she didn't wanna carry it. I kindly accepted despite her rude attitude & request. Then she asked to take it further towards the back door. I said this is not very nice. She slammed the door behind me on my way out of the back room !!!! I am a regular business customer as it is my local branch. She looked new staff to me. This lady should not be in customer service at all. If she must be at Aus. Post, then put her in back office where she does not have to deal with the public. We deserve better.

Horrible, had a parcel left in the post office for WEEKS without them contacting me, I waited ages for it to be delivered. When I called them they finally told me it was in the post office. Mind you I was fine with it, thought it was a mistake but when I arrived they were soo rude, I just wanted to take my parcel and go! Worst customer service they are rude every single time. They lack empathy especially towards our elders and are very rude when they require a little further assistance. Doesnt hurt to be kind or friendly however they willingly and consciously be rude and mean to every customer there. Its a very bad representation of Australia Post. This is not what they are about. They need an attitude change or find some other type of employment where customer contact is not essential.

Worst post office staff. Always on their phones, act as though you've inconvenienced them when you enter, they're so RUDE. EVERY TIME. Unfortunately I pick up parcels from here often. I once asked the younger women to help me fit an item in a parcel bag. She reluctantly held one side and didn't bother using her second functioning hand to hold the other side, so the bag didn't actually open.. She held her arm out as though it was a vomit bag, with a facial expression to match. Such a poor attitude. I really dislike going here. I wish they would close this P.O. and open another (with new staff of course!) at Carnes Hill so we don't all have to travel to these pathetic people.

Very rude and unfriendly staff, whoever served us around 2:00-2:30, 18th of November which was an Indian lady, she was not very helpful... we asked her if they have a JP on site and her reply was “No! We don’t” and then we asked again “Do you know anywhere near we can find a JP?” She replied “No, just google it” and then when I googled “JP near me”, Hoxton Post office was the first that came up! I’ve read other comments regarding this particular staff and customers are not happy with her service at all.

I go there literally everyday. One time I asked for 1 $1 stamp and she gives me a $1.20 stamp. The ladies are so rude and don’t give any effort to their jobs. Probably one of the worst post office’s I’ve ever been to.
