This is one of the best post offices in SA. The service from all staff is amazing and they will go above and beyond to answer any questions (bar one employee). They have a good and varied range of products in the shop which aren't related to 'postage'. Always come here for post related things and for gift purchases.

Having read great reviews, I was more than happy to travel to Marden to visit this post shop. Unfortunately when I presented my photograph I was told in a very rough and impatient manner that she could 'tell me right now' that it was unacceptable. My attempt at explaining that I had gone to a specific place and that I had been assured it met guidelines fell on deaf ears, it was clear she did not want to hear it. Even if the staff member was stressed (there was an extremely long queue), it does not excuse the way the interaction was handled. I withdrew my request and left disappointed and out rightly embarrassed, particularly as she was so loud that the entire post office heard. At a different location, my photo was accepted so it seems that in this case, Marden was unnecessarily harsh. It's a shame, I was looking forward to posting a positive review like the rest.

I miss this kind of customer service. Staff who I think of more as friends, The kind of attentiveness that is almost impossible to come by these days . Vince, Urzula and co are by far the most incredible, lovely and amazing people I've ever met. My kids absolutely love them as do we . I've recently moved to the slums of Adelaide but I will keep my parcel Collect at marden for two reasons, one I know them on such a level that as soon as I walk into the office they're out the back getting my mail and two, I genuinely love going in there. I know I'm not the only person that feels this way either. I hear customers all the time praising them..I'll happily pay a touch extra to send my mail through Australia post just because of these guys. Please give them all a raise .

Marden PO is great, but try phoning them! AUS POST phone contact sytem is appslling. Their Mypost app is frustrating. Impossible.

Only open Monday to Friday 9-5 and cannot call the shop direct. Good luck if you have a parcel taken there and work 9-5. The pure inconvenience is reason for low review

Christmas rush season 2013. Madness, as usual. But the staff at this post shop were serene, efficient, helped me save money with better ideas. And very pleasant. It was a wonderful experience. Something you just don't expect from a post office experience.

Great customer service, very friendly and would hold on your parcel a bit longer if you are away. I would have given it a 5 if only it opens over the weekend or 1 extended- hour day, over the weekdays to enable working people to collect their parcel. Also if the contact number is available online.
