Manager Craig is allowing his staff at Lane Cove Post Office become the little house of horrors! Especially the Indian female front person is very rude and condescending. She patronising customers on how to do things and how to behave. Seriously? How to behave? This elderly old lady was close to tears last week after being served by the Indian lady. Is this called modern customer service? She should be the one being taught how to behave and be more polite and nice to seniors and people in general. Go change your job if you donāt like it. Donāt make everybody elseās day as bad as yours, Indian lady.

Customer experience at this post office sadly doesnāt welcome anyone to use any service at all. This hasnāt been the first occasion. Losing or misplacing a parcel becomes customers a regular occurrence. This time I spent over an hour, was calling all kinds of hotlines and left home with no parcel.

The staff at Lane Cove post office were extremely helpful. I went to post a parcel this morning and they not only did everything extremely efficiently they managed to get me a significant discount on my business post account! I'm extremely grateful for their diligence and commitment to great customer service admits a challenging time for all.

Supposed to get parcel to my house and was told I had to go collect it from the post office as no one was home. No note left or anything at the house. They didn't even try to deliver as I work at home and there is always someone there.

3 out of 5 times my parcel are not delivered even though I'm either at home or I have requested to leave at my front door. Parcel gets redirected back to the post office, this wouldn't be a problem if they're opened on the weekend for collection.

My daughter had a friend from USA stay at Xmas time. The girl's mother sent a parcel to our house that did not arrive, but an email was sent that said "delivered". The girls went to Lane Cove post office to find out what was going on and dealt with an extremely rude woman. She said "it was signed for", so my daughter asked to see the signature and said that's no one in our house. The woman said well, it's signed for, nothing you can do. 3 weeks ago - yep, parcel arrived at our house - 6 months later! No explanation and no signature required. Useless and rude staff.

Really poorly managed. Waited in a queue for nearly an hour just to collect parcel and when it was my turn, the male staff behind the counter told us that it is his lunch break, to a lot of people dismay! Auspost should be hiring more dedicated staff, not someone who is disinterested and lazy!

I previously gave them a 1 star rating and am very thankful that someone is reading the reviews and doing something about it. Huge improvement. Thank you Aust Post for taking customer reviews seriously. The new faces are a breath of fresh air at LC post office. The ladies there greet customers with a smile, are friendly and remember the regulars. Gone are most of the sour faces who made me dread going in there. Also, the problem with the computer system for notifying parcel collect users that their parcels are ready for collection has been sorted out. I now get most (90%) updates on my parcels! Happy customer :)

Bad experience. Wasnt helpful at all, went to get a damage report, and the lady at the desk entered it in to her system but refused to give me the physical report, and the shipping company is asking for a physical report which i told the lady at the desk, but she said no you dont need one, blah blah blah. Now ive got to come back a fourth time for a physical copy. So No, not a good experience.

This is our local post office and have had excellent service so far. As a philatelist, a great place to search and find your choice and the Manager is very patient in helping you choose the collection. Parking is close by !!

Honestly, waiting 10 minutes in a queue only to get to the front and be told me you should have joined a different queue, when there are no signs or other way to work it out, is just pathetic. If this was a private business it would have gone broke for bad customer service

Absolutely the wrist service I've ever had over and over again. Lodged formal complaints numerous times, they've changed the process now so you can't even leave complaints anymore. Issues have been, Never do your passport there, you're better off going to passport office. Don't even get me started when they don't even believe your signature or have an issue with the photo which they took! Secondly is the delivery/collection of parcels Thirdly their customer service is plain rude to everyone, you can hear then from the line to every customer This post office is in dire need of a completely new management team and staff to replace the entire culture. Early morning pick up hours are good.

Waited over an hour for parcel collection. Open register refused to serve even when there's no customers other than those waiting to collect parcels. Only one register open for parcel collection. It is clearly a burden to that one staff with long line all the way to nearing the door and they are only focused on paying customers.

Waited an hour to lodge passport. Got to front of the line and was told only one line does passports and I wasn't in it. Made me go to the passport line and I waited another half an hour and then gave up and left to avoid waiting 2 and a half hours. Asked the staff to put up a sign telling people the difference between the lines which they ignored, so the following weekend when I tried again I told some poor person who has obviously waited in line forever he was in the wrong line and had to line up in the passport line. Lodged a complaint online but nothing changed. Staff don't care about customer service and no one ever smiles. Something is very wrong with the culture at this workplace.

Queues at this post office are legendary. Whole species of insects have their entire lifecycle - from birth, through adulthood, through various moultings, reproduction and death - in the time it takes to progress a few places in the line. It would be so much better if all this post office did was sell postage.

Trying to contact Lane Cove PO directly with a matter that's specific to them, yet there's no phone number listed. Been on hold for 30 mins calling via the national line. Surely there's a direct line to call you on?

They've rejected my passport photo three times. They keep trying to find any reason like the size is wrong (when it's exactly within the requirements). I printed 10 different photos and none of them were acceptable. The same thing happened with 2 other people I know. Yet other post offices accept it fine. Seems like the guy in Lane Cove just wants you to spend money on his own photo service.... not very honest.

There isn't a lot of parking space right in front, so you have to park on the Uli side. The biggest problem is finding a courier for large items.

There was a large cockroach on the floor running around, when I told the staff they just shrugged and said "leave it" and said something about the place needing to be cleaned. Disgusting. They then rejected the passport photos I had taken at another Australia Post office and insisted I had to have one taken there. Waste of my time. Will not be using them again.
