Worst staff ever. The old Vietnamese lady staff is so rude. I registered my business account with Australian post and sent parcels every week, with full details and ABN, today I came and sent parcels plus collect parcels for my business( to be cleared : i collected parcels with business ID account before)but today this Vietnamese lady turned to so rude, she asked me for passport or driver's licence, I showed her my passport screenshot with business ID she said no, and turned to very rude to me. I think Australian post should let her quit the job and find better lazy job suitable for her. Very rude

False information in website- they say they open until 12pm on Saturday, closed today. Rude staff with the hand carry baggage came in unlocked the door after 10 min while I was waiting for Uber. She was so rude when asked her why it’s not open, while website says it’s open today! Then, on my surprise, she replied- “If You know then, why are you asking” Such a rude person whoever she was!

Has a newsagency feel which is nice, and much less rude than Footscray post office haha, I would prefer these guys to them any day

Was told that I couldn’t borrow scissors by a rude lady. I needed them to repackage my parcel. It took me an hour and half to get the post office today. This is either a lie, or Auspost has inconsistent rules. Because I have borrowed scissors plenty of times!! Now that I haven’t been able to repackage my parcel, I have to come all the way back tomorrow. Terrible terrible service

Come to collect my parcel this afternoon. The young boy works there refuses to serving me because l don't have my Photo ID.. Even l present my Vaccination certificate with my Credit card details and email address etc. Eventually was sorted by an Senior officer. Very poor communication & customer service skills in this particular experience!

I went to lodge a passport application and told me flat out my pictures are likely to be rejected with one when they have been approved through an official Australian passport photo retailer and I have a certificate saying they are to be accepted. I appreciate they have a wealth experience on applications, but it really came across as revenue raising and monopolising over any competition to Australia Post. I have lived in the area for 6 years and the woman who works here has been unpleasant since my first visit, so I'm not surprised to be honest. I suggest avoiding unless you must pickup failed deliveries.

I wanted to send a reply paid parcel and specifically pointed out the correct address, as the label provided had my address on it too. First the service woman tried to charge me postage, soI reminded her it was 'reply paid' and then the parcel turned up back on my doorstep 4 days later. No wonder mail goes missing so often!

Don't believe any of the other reviews here. While others may have perceived a negative experience with this LPO, I've been to a lot of post offices in my time and this one is, overall, consistently the best. I've been using it for the last five years and it was always good but it's even better since the new owners. Highly recommend.

Not the first time I’ve been over charged. I was sending a parcel that should have been $14 by the calculations I made online prior to going in. At the counter it came up as $20 and was told it was because of the cubing process. It weighed 1.060kg. I asked if the weight was an issue as it had gone over 1kg. I was assured it was all because of cubing. I trusted the staff member and wore the $6 price difference. I recalculated the charges on the website and it was the 60grams that caused the price difference. I then modified my packaging and saved the $6. Chris the manager told me there was a misunderstanding. I was very clear in my questions about the 60grams. It was either deceitful or lack of understanding of what they are selling. This is not the first time I’ve had a “misunderstanding” at this outlet. 21/7/20. I went in today and they are openly overcharging for the prepaid postcards. An authorised Australia Post set priced item. $2.40 on the Australia Post website $2.99 in store.

Went to this post office to send application for my dad's visa. I wasn't sure which of the two addresses I should use for registered post so asked. Instead of giving me a simple "you should check with the visa office" and a smile, the old lady responded in a rude and angry manner that I needed to call the office to ask cause it's NOT HER DEPARTMENT. Wondering what "her department" is cause I did not ask about irrelevant things like where I should bring my car to fix.

The passport processing here is a joke. The lady is very rude and refused a perfectly passport photo which met all the requirements so she can charge an excess of $25 for taking a passport photo, standard price is only $16.95 set by Austpost. While processing the application she refused the application but still filled in and checking the box on your form and also cut out child passport while it's still valid for another 6 months. Avoid this post office at all cost if you are going to process your passport application. Not recommended.

I live in the area and go to this post office for many years. In the past I didn't shop online much but these days I shop online more often. My experience with this post office gets worst each year. You would think its just a post office, there is not much customer service involve so what could possibly go wrong. This family run business they just want to do the bare minimum to get your money and make you leave. Don't expect them to waste their time for you or use common sense to help you. Passport application and ID checks, extremely strict and wont help you much. My sister come here often they may not remember her name but they for sure know her face. She forgot her driver's license but she can provide other IDs with our address but the new young male employee was rude and wont accept the ID. I got off work earlier than usual to pick up my package got there exactly at 5pm (their closing time). He look at me behind the glass door, smiled and walked inside. Ohh and why do we always have to pick up package from this place? because the delivery driver don't even attempt to deliver our package or leave a note. I only found out because I set up sms to my phone. In this age shopping online is suppose to save time but dealing with post office you will end up wasting more of your day. I strongly suggest people set up their mail to go to another nearby post office even if you have to travel a bit further.

Rude, bored, entitled staff. Attitude that customers are there to make their lives hard. Entire store is crammed full of cheap plastic junk. Impossible to actually get in and get to the counter. Avoid. Only reason to go there is to pick up parcels that are not delivered (which happens often, even when home), which means queuing, even at quiet times as there are never enough staff on.

99% of the negative reviews, you need to have a good look at yourselves! The post office is strict because they are protecting the integrity of the postal system to ensure parcels go to the correct person! Don't expect to be given a parcel because you are the wife/husband of the intended recipient. And don't expect to have your passport application accepted because YOU THINK you have the right photo/ID etc. You will be the first person to come back and complain if the post office wastes your time because they were negligent in their acceptance of your application. Is it really worth the risk of such a vital document??? I've often been frustrated with their strictness and recently had to go back and forth 3 times to get a passport application through. But I know what I am asking for sometimes is a favor as opposed to a right so need to cop it a few times. The post office is not your local coffee shop so you all need to get over yourselves and respect what they do a little more.

Absolute disgrace. My mother went here to submit her passport but was mislead into paying for a fee to translate her birth certificate to English. I told my mum you don't need to provide birth certificate if you have a Australian Citizenship Certificate. But when she came back, they lied to her again and said that if she wasn't born in Australian then she will need it. Good work picking on a 60 year old pensioner.
