Got my son's passport photos taken here, only to be told in an interview at another Post Office that photo didn't meet the requirements. As they don't process passport applications here they don't seem to care how the photos turn out. Such a waste of time! had to bring in my son in another day to Mt Druitt Post Office where they took another photo and processed the application. Mt Druitt staff were super professional and diligent. If want to get your passport photos taken correctly please save yourself time and go to Mt Druitt.

Avoid at all cost! Those people should only operate as News agency and not the post office. No idea,no help, zero care factor on parcels. Been going there trying to sort out lost parcels they have no idea nor want to help. Kept referring to call post office number which isn't answered by human being but the robot.trying to tell them that but being arrogant and careless they shouldn't even live in Australia! So if you want to send anything find a proper post office with a real Australian post workers and not those clouns who shouldn't be there AT ALL! Don't ever go to this place for post service.

Great that they're open on a Sunday but pretty useless when they don't have stock of the basics like prepaid satchels. Drove an hour out of my way to come here on a Sunday and it was a complete waste of time.

Avoid this post office. If you are only collecting a parcel get it sent elsewhere. If you are not spending money here they will do nothing to help you. They close at 5.15pm i was there at 5 there were no customers there. When she seen i was only there to collect a parcel i was told to come back another day! I walked to my car and decided to go back to ask can i have someone else collect it she replied no. Then 2 others walked in to play powerball she was happy to serve them. I finish at 5 normally there is no way i can be at the post office before 5. I will have to come back on sat or sunday she said Very Rude. She couldnt even be tactful simply rude, i think she even enjoyed being rude! If you use this post office dont expect to shown any manners or courtesy without spending money there!

WHY CAN'T YOU OPT FOR NO STAR RATING! DOONSIDE PO DOES NOT DESERVE IT! Very rude customer service. Came in on Saturday, place closes at 13:00 and closed doors at 12:45. Went to walk in, nearly having the door closed on me! Customer service rudely said "we're closed". Replied "not on your clock you're not". She let me in. Was served with disrespect and with an annoyed attitude. Oh well, I'm happy to give them hell everytime I go there until they treat their customers right!

I wanted a prepaid envelope to send stuff to Singapore and I got the wrong size, should have been an A4, I got a half size instead. I had my receipt of the sale. But had to go through another step as I did the sale by debit card, so I produce my card and the woman has to go to another counter and move from one counter to another I was getting dizzy. I did eventually get a notification to say the money had been transferred back, but it will be a few days before I get the physical cash. They are open on Sunday, but I don't know whether I will go back here again, maybe if I'm desperate. Give them a shot see how you go... if you like my review please tick the blue hand and help me improve my google local.

Worst post office ever. Called for passport application to get appointment. They said just walk in and it should be fine. Did that on Saturday morning. Told them that was there for my son's passport application. The other lady serving said that the lady who deals with passport applications is serving another customer and asked me to wait. Waited for my turn for 20 mins and was told that they do the applications at 9:30 after explaining that I had called that I had called and was asked to co e anytime, she did take my application to be told that her printer was not working so she cannot process the application. This post office is really bad in custom.er service and providing accurate information for customer. They don't even deserve 1 star.

Unprofessional and poor customer service . Walk in to the post office and stand there for a couple of minutes while two staff members are playing around with envelopes until I ask them if a can pick up my parcel. Then the response is the newsagency is open but the post office is closed for another 15mins .

Worst post office in Sydney. The man in charge- Hogan is as rude as they come. Got told the price of passport photographs and before I accepted it, he printed them and I had pretty much no choice but to pay. Bunch of unprofessionals. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

As you can see , most people along with their experience review is with regards to deficiency of customer service, lack of consideration and understanding of consumer’s request, poor speaking and understanding in English etc. And it’s all pointing their finger in one of the Asian staff they believe is incharge in the post office. My wife had a ridiculous encounter with thisa Asian employee in one of our parcels. This Employee is really difficult to understand of what he is saying and ends up being rude which is really offensive to us consumer. And many customer believes that this Asian staff has a hard time to comprehend, which it ends up in misunderstanding in both ways. Management should review their staffs most especially on how they communicate to their customers with respect to maintain harmony as well as maintaining good reputation of Aupost Doonside and bring back the legitimate quality of service to their consumers.

Doesn't even deserve one star. I had booked an appointment (over the phone) for passport photos taken for my 7 months old. Once we got there we were told that they don't do passports on Sundays. Ridiculous and never go back again! You can't do this to people with young babies.
