Super sad with the service. I bought something online and received the tracking detail on the 8th of December. It was expected to arrive in the ACT before Christmas (for gift). I realised I have to make changes to the delivery address (from post code 2602 to 2601), so I called the AU POST. But they suggested me to redirect the parcel on the app/website. I updated the delivery address on Monday (19 Dec). However, the tracking history showed incorrect address, in transit etc. I called again on Wednesday (21) and the customer service gave a note to the distribution facility about my case. AND today, Thursday (22 Dec) the status is Return to Sender. I called again and the customer service told me they can't do anything. They told me to call the sender and they can resend it again. For what??? Valentine's day??

My parcel has been sitting in Fyshwick for a week and was not processed or out for delivery even with multiple phone calls saying the parcel was urgent and that I’m leaving the country. Now I won’t receive the parcel because I won’t be here. Still using COVID as an excuse to be lazy and not deliver on time.

Completely clueless and untrained staff. My express parcels to Queanbeyan would reach Fyshwick which is around 5 minutes to my address but they'd send it back to Sydney as it shows a NSW postcode. The postal staff is not familiar with their own locality. What a joke. lol

Not the best post office to have residential post redirected to (noting packages from residential areas in Kingston, Barton and Manuka all have closer post offices and news agencies). The hours here also make it very difficult to get to around standard business hours. However, I was really impressed by the fact the staff were actually helpful to me. For some reason my package still hadn’t been delivered to the post office from a delivery run the prior day, and when I explained how difficult it had been to get there in business hours they kept an eye out for it and put it in a parcel locker for me.

Customer experience I'd rather forget. Unfriendly, ill-mannered, staff with a "I'm doing you a favour" attitude rather than providing a service. The staff here rather turn people away (in the most discourteous and rudest possible way too!) instead of spending the time to help or answer any queries. The 1 star on this review is way too generous. Would not recommend and will certainly not be coming back.

Genuinely disappointed, I trust you with my parcels and you treat them like trash! The book pierced the packing and I'm lucky that how the postie handled it didn't damage the book. Reform how you deliver parcels instead of having people who don't know what a safe place to put it is. Thanks guys, you treat parcels like trash. The photo attached is the "safe place" that's halfway down our driveway. 6 more steps and you would have been at our front door to put it there but your postie chose to be lazy. Disgusting service

I go here regularly but today was an experience I would rather forget. On entering I took note that the capacity under covid restrictions was 24 people. As the queue was longer than normal I did a head count and counted 13 people in total (including staff at the counter). 2 ladies entered behind me, so the total inside would have been 16 people. Well under the capacity limit. The male staff member then literally started yelling at us across the shop to get out. In his words "we have a limit and the last 4 people in the queue, get out". If I had a choice, I would have walked away and taken my business elsewhere never to return. But unfortunately, I don't. If the limit is less than 24, then you need to change your signage. I have never been yelled at in a store before and it left me quite shaken.

Express post service failures. Parcels clearly addressed to a Postoffice Box at Kippax ACT 2615, Yesterday one was missorted to CHARNWOOD same post code 2615, a common postcode but CHARNWOOD DOES NOT LOOK LIKE HOLT. Then today you have done it to me again, this time my parcel for KIPPAX 2615 was landed at HALL 2618. I just spoke to Kelsey in customer service and i have two options, shut my shop and go to Hall personally to collect it, or wait up to two days which could be 4 due to Canberra long week to have it delivered correctly. My request for you to redeliver it today fell on deaf ears, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR SERVICE FAILURES BUT MORE SOME FOR YOUR RELUCTANCE TO RESOLVE THE MATTER TO MY SATISFACTION AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH SERVICE STANDARD WHICH MY SENDERS HAD PAID FOR AND EXPECTED TO OCCUR. Finally, is this matter going to be addressed and resolved or can we look forward to more of these failures in the future? Tony @ Kippax.

DHL is able to deliver from America to canberra within 3 days, when passed onto auspost to make the final delivery, it remains with them for over a week, less than a kilometer from delivery adress. Ridiculous

Please retrain your staff. I set my app delivery address to deliver in a safe place which is my front door. I have never had any delivery to my front door instead my parcels get stuffed into my mailbox even sometimes causing damage to the parcel. On a Friday I find a note to pick up a parcel from the Fyshwick store in my mailbox. I go to the store but my parcel is not there as it's pickup after 4. I tell them I will come back however the staff member calls the driver who says he would make it back before closing so I leave without it. I then get a message saying its ready for pick-up 15 mins before closing but cannot make there in that time. I check the website which states the Fyshwick office is open from 930 to 1pm on Saturday Great, I go back at 10am Saturday however they are closed. I check the website it says Saturday and it is the busiest time for the Fyshwick office yet they are not even open. I suggest you retrain your staff and update your website to better provide service.

I had a parcel picked up from Isabella Plains on October 1 about 2.20pm arrived at Fyshwick Delivery Centre Canberra Ave. about 5.30pm. Was told it would be here on the 6th. Not arrived. then told the 12th not arrived then told today 14th package on its way. Van driver just left our street still no package and it was sent express post. Am glad it didn't come from O/S. Had a watch sent from Brisbane Express Post took 4 days.

Takes longer for auspost to sort my parcel at their domestic facilities (not including customs) then it does to fly from the UK with covid flight restrictions. Parcel sits it each depot for over a week. Covid has been here for 18mths. You can no longer say 'unexpected delays'. APADT

The delivery guy always runs off quickly after knocking on your door without giving you enough time to come out and answer. In the end, they will take your parcel to a local post office which is far far away and tell you that because no one at home to pick it.

No longer leaves parcels at the door despite them asking if I want it left at home and and I said yes. My door is off the street and is a safe spot. Really inconvenient travelling out to fyshwick when kingston PO is across the road. The opening hours are a joke, how can Aust Post justify sending parcels to a place not open on the weekend or open past 5pm. Have also been known to leave parcel notes without bothering to ring the intercom, or ring the intercom but disappear straight away and to find a parcel note in the letter box.

Australia post does it's job well. I just have a complaint with this particular white haired bearded man that is an employee in this branch. Doesn't even bother to check if your parcel is there already and keep telling you off to comeback on Monday. All the other employees are fine except for this guy.

Like others have reviswed, they continue to hand out parcel collection cards that say they’re open Saturday - they’re not as I found out the hard way. Apparently they haven’t been open on a Saturday since March, yet are still spreading false information four months later. Very inconvenient yet they couldn’t care less.

AusPost driver had incorrectly delivered my parcel to a completely wrong address, even though it clearly had my correct address on the label. I was lucky enough that the person at this address was kind enough to correctly deliver the parcel to me the following day. It took AusPost over a week to get back to my enquiry, to which they had made up a story about having left my parcel under a tree in front of my place, and blamed the lost parcel on me because I hadn't looked under the tree - even though I had said to them that I had checked everywhere, including both neighbours.

If I could give a zero star I would. Corrupt thieving delivery drivers. I've had 3 parcels mysteriously disappear since November 2019 from the Fyshwick depot. Now I have to wait for the to return my order of $100 worth of products to me or financial refund. The only catch is I have to wait up to 5 business days for them to investigate. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Get new drivers. I wish stores would stop using Australia Post as a delivery partner there are far more reliable delivery services out there.

Dropped off a "sorry we missed you" card when my partner was home all day. The card & Australia Post website said that Fyshwick is open on Saturdays. Google said closed. I rang the Australia Post main phone to confirm. The lady on the phone advised me to believe the Australia Post website. I drove to Fyshwick, and it was closed, with a sign saying "Temporary change of opening hours - closed Saturdays" that was posted back in April. Nine months+ is not exactly temporary. So why do the delivery cards & the Australia Post website still say that they're open on Saturdays?
