Constantly refuse to accept packages from a particular courier - unacceptable when paying for a suite number to be able to have all packages delivered. Completely unhelpful staff, seems they’d rather do anything else than accept responsibility or give an actual explanation. The reduced opening hours are a joke. Even 1 star seems too generous for what is possibly the worst PO in Canberra.

Does Australia Post actually read the reviews? Look all the complaints this centre is receiving, is there anything Australia Post is doing to address these feedback? We are from Sydney. I ordered a gift for my son, to be delivered to my parents house here. My parents were at home waiting all day, no knock, no door bell rang, no call on mobile, no card left at door, only a sms late in the afternoon advising parcel needs to be picked up from this post office. Unfortunately I am not local and was not expecting post office not opening on Saturday morning here. We arrived Canberra last night (Friday). This morning, 24th December, a Saturday, I learnt the truth the centre is closed with no other way of picking up the Xmas gift for my son. Tomorrow is Xmas day, centre closed Monday is Boxing Day, public holiday centre closed Tuesday is public holiday, centre closed and we have to drive back to Sydney. Merry Christmas to you too, Australia Post. Please hear us and have a look at your delivery services.

Having just experienced yet another phantom delivery attempt and a highly unhelpful guy at the shop, thought I'd leave a review that hopefully contributes to change! Its been countless times now where I will receive a message and/or email stating there was a delivery attempt however my doorbell never rang. Similarly countless times where I get no pick up slip or other notification and then by the time I follow up, they say it's been sent back. To top it all off, when I tried to give the feedback at the shop when I picked up my parcel, I was met with sarcasm. The conversation ended with a 'what do you want me to do, I can't deliver the parcel for you'.....ummm do your job, I don't care shop front staff and delivery drivers are separate teams, you're all one Australia Post and offering the one service? A highly broken one at that but a service non the less so some customer service wouldn't go astray!

Went there to collect my parcel few weeks ago and encountered with one asian lady lookalike who was giving service. She was saying ‘IDENTIFICATION’ in her top voice as if her father owns the Australia post. I showed and then she went back and roughly slides my parcel through the glass door. Are all service provider at Australia post like that? Never had a good experience going there

Just submitted a complaint to Australia Post regarding the rudest phone call received today in relation to why I hadn’t collected a parcel I had no idea was at this post office. No slip or anything provided and just an angry call. I asked them to hold it till I return in a week from holidays, got told no it’s going to be returned to sender and hung up on. Unacceptable customer service. Update- response from Australia Post online’s customer service was excellent, suggest others use this route. Also have had instances where no card or slip was left. And note the opening hours, they need to be open early, late and at least a half day on Saturday.

Their delivery driver didn't even knock when they turned up and just left a collection note. The package wasn't there when I arrived that day to pick it up and they had already locked the door (but we're inside) when I arrived to pick it up a few days later. Zero customer service and were extremely rude about. And no weekend option to pick up. Pathetic service.

Absolutely the worst post office in Australia. It will take you 30m to pick up a single parcel because of the lines up the block (20-30 people waiting are common), the reduced operating hours (meaning everyone turns up to get their package at the same time) and the staff (who are all either foreign, or old, meaning they are slow). This post office has been like this for years but is continually getting worse. Absolutely insane that these level of standards can exist in this country. I would rather hit myself with a brick than use Australia post at this location.

Zero star if applicable. The parcel from Melbourne took 2 days to to delivery. They played the knock and run game, then dropped a card at the door mat instead of mail box. 4 times went back and force to this place as stated in the card, queued in the rain, and 2 days later still couldn’t get the parcel due to “still unloaded”. The staff acted as they don’t care. Monopolist, bureaucratic business. Waste of time.

I had redirected to another post office via the app. I was suddenly advised via sms that I failed to respond to an attempt to deliver to my address. I rang and spoke to a human who said they sent a message to delivery and requested again to redirect to the post office of my choice. They failed to advise my package was left at Belconnen. Belconnen then sent my package back to 'sender' and only after sending it, provided advice that I failed to pick it up. I had no idea it was there, and had no card in my mailbox. My sender was in Brisbane. I got a message that it was delivered...to Melbourne! I then got a message that it was in the next suburb. I think the toddler they left in charge of comms was having a tanty. It certainly could not have been messaging from a professional person paid to manage the delivery of my package. Australia Post compensated me for the loss of the package but not the loss of time.

Since I moved Belconnen experienced wrost delivery service ever, most of the cases driver don't attempt to deliver and leave parcel outside appartment in unsafe place. If delivery requires signature on delivery, I can expect to go to Australia post center to pickup parcel and most cases they won't even leave delivery card have to rely on tracking number provided by sender. I don't know why they are even allowed to deliver items, when so many are facing similar issues.

First of all, why change your opening hours to only 9-5 when most people have to work? I turned up at 5.30 on Friday when it clearly says on the card you are open til 6pm. Second of all, my "agent" had to wait 45 minutes to pick up a parcel for me because your opening hours are terrible!!

If I'm not home during the day for a delivery, what makes you think I can collect during business hours? Use to be open Saturdays and till 7pm weeknights. Now I need to take time off work and wait 30+ mins to collect my items because there is always a line of 20-30 people. Useless!

This post office is the worst one out there. Absolutely rude staff even worse manager. Parcel was supposed to go to a parcel locker and for some reason was given to a delivery driver. I had to go in search of the parcel, thank god people that received it were honest. Stay away from this post office.

No clear adjustment to opening hours during the festive season and as with all Australia Post Outlets I have come across there is no direct line to contact them. To make matters worse there is no mention of adjusted opening hours for the Christmas break on the direct line either. This LPO is listed as open on google, but with the footnote that a public holiday may affect these hours; a footnote that saves this from being a one-star review.

There’s no point paying the Australian post use a different service if you can they are a waste of money. The drivers leave you tickets. I wait all day at home and no bell no ring no knock. A text message will come that tells you to pick it up from the post office. They obviously don’t attempt to even get the package to you. There’s no option for redelivery. If you don’t have transport too bad take an Uber and pick up your cabinets, heavy packages. They should get a negative star rating for their quality of service.

2 parcels couldn't be delivered, should have been held by post office for collection. Wife turned up three hours after first update on App to find they were held by post office for all of 2.5hrs (2hrs, 29min) before being shipped off again. No assistance from staff and no resolution besides waiting for it to get back back to sender and ask them to reship. Parcels still in Canberra but 'too bad' is the best we could be offered.

Paid for home delivery, was home all day for delivery, parcel went to Belconnen mail centre. Australia post staff too lazy to deliver. Might as well have paid for click and collect. They warn you on SMS that if you are not home, they will deliver to mail centre, but they just take the easy route anyway. BIG FAIL Australia Post

Closes early and refuses to serve customers, even though they say they are open until 5:00PM. Terrible service, especially at Christmas when everyone needs this service. I will be putting in a complaint with Westfield because you are closing before your advertised hours.
