Let me start by addressing the poor reviews. I am in no way affiliated with this post office apart from a regular customer for my business related sendings. Firstly, Australians (I’m born and raised) are notorious at being under prepared when engaging with postal services and come with dismal preparation. No ID, no documents, nothing. They then make a scene in the post office because THEY are lazy and obnoxious brats. I have witnessed this a litany of times when using the service. Armadale post office are the loveliest people. This isn’t Emirates business lounge guys, it’s a post office. Be organised, diligent and intentional and you’ll find armadale post office will oblige quite nicely. Yes there’s some language barriers and cultural differences but where’s your patience Australia? Are you that entitled you can’t speak with respect and show decent human behaviour? Lastly, my parcel was actually returned back to Catch of the Day and rightly so, I didn’t collect on time, I dragged my feet, they need space and room daily for more parcels, so off it goes. This is how the world works people. It doesn’t revolve around entitled Australians. Do better.

This is by far the worst branch of Australia Post I've dealt with. The family that runs it is so incompetent, aggressive, lazy with an overall bad service and I would not recommend anyone to use this branch for your post office needs. I've never really felt the need to write a review...so this goes to show how poor their service is. If I had the option to give them zero stars I would...but such an option does not exist so I'll give them one star.

LIARS. Got sent a package on the 4/3/22, did not receive any communication that it had arrived. Finally get an URGENT pick up ticket in my letter box on 22/4/22. I called up and asked if they could hold it for one day so I can pick up on my day off. Worker advised me thats fine and theres another parcel I can collect them both the next day. I go to collect and they have SENT THE PARCEL BACK TO SENDER FOR NOT BEING COLLECTED. EVEN THOUGH I CONFIRMED I WILL COLLECT IT TOMORROW. THEY COULDNT EVEN HOLD IT FOR LESS THAN 24HRS. LIARS. USELESS. EXTREMEMLY ANNOYED. FRUSTRAITING. I HATE THEM.

No card was left in my mailbox to say they had failed to deliver my parcel (I've seen in the reviews this is a commonly shared problem) once I realised they had it after checking the tracking number, I decided to give them a call to let them know I was coming to pick it up so they wouldn't return it to sender, and after 5 attempts at calling they would not pick up the phone. On a seperate occasion I went to pick up two parcels, I knew they had both and insisted they go check again when they gave me just one, and they refused, so I ended up having to wait for a different worker so I could be served as if it was the first time and finally get my second parcel.

Completely useless, apparently my parcel has been "in transit to the next facility" for 2 weeks now. I understand there may be delays due to covid and an increase of people ordering items online, but you've had well over a year now to find a way to deal with that. Completely unacceptable.

Armadale Post Office Staff - you are amazing! Thank you for keeping my lost keys, more than once, house and box. Thank you for your smiles. Thank you for always good advice, and your shared delight when I opened my overseas packages. Thank you for making sure my packages were always safe and not sent to the black hole Armadale North. Thank you for coming to my exhibition. Thank you for being a village in the city. So often I write reviews about the greedy baddies. But my post office of thirty years - you deserve praise for best effort, smooth-running, being reliable, great humanity, humour and postal expertise. Armadale Post Office Staff you are angels and keep me singing - all days are sunny when I visit you - thank you!

Honestly... what kind of delivery guy doesn't put a parcel ticket in your mailbox? This has happened 3 times. All I do is have a back and forth with whomever on eBay and it turns out... these delivery guys are SOOOO incompetent that they cannot for the life of them remember to write a ticket and say it's available at this post office. This has happened 3 times already. Packages I've been waiting for ages just happen to be at the post office without my knowledge. Also when trying to explain to these workers, turns out they hear my question but then proceed to give a completely unrelated answer. Do I like writing these reviews? No.

The worst service I have ever experienced. The franchise owner/manager has no idea about customer service or any post products or services. She is rude and obnoxious and wouldn't know good service if it hit her in the face. Don't go there, do yourself a favour and go to another post office.

Riley - that was bad they should have let you in - they didn't even ask you if you want to collect your parcel or what you want to do...I know in other LPOs they will let people in even after the door closed if they want to collect parcel or do some fast transaction like in Hawthorn LPO in Glenferrie Road someone I know told me the staff there are really good they are Chinese they let people in.....what is the name of the manager? When did they change management? What is the Chinese mother's name? I remember years ago probably 8 years or something there was a middle aged Aussie woman and a Chinese mother who wear glasses and her talkative young son used to be there....the son talk too much to customers I reckon..he seemed to have a lot to say ....how long have you been customer there?

Bad service. Rude Owners. There is a 1 month leeway on paying for the Post Office Box but they sent my mail back to sender and parcels back to China. I understand if you don't pay on time but if you want to keep your customers just leave the mail in the box.They dont answer the phone either and shut down email notifications the day after the due date but thats Australia Posts fault most likely. I was previously at Caulfield Junction and they still sent me mail even though I hadn't been there for many years. Australia Post makes millions but the service is average. They have a stranglehold on Australia but that will soon change. Your not getting my money any more....Also every lock at every Australia Post P.O.Box is the same so the security is rubbish. I could use a fork to get in to off street P.O.Boxes. Last 15 years that's been like that now everyone knows. I will be using SENDLE as its cheaper and faster.
