Service here is absolutely terrible, especially that female officer. Rude & racial profiling. I’ve seen her shouting at both her coworker and customer. That place stinks too, looks like they never clean up the outside. Avoid.

Like always very bad service. Parcel pick up date and time are misleading and it happened more than once where i had to leave empty hand, what a waste of time but the most frustrating part is the staff show zero empathy and blame other staff for poor management. The staffs are not happy to work there have lack skills working in a customer facing role.

I always enjoy my time when I pop in! Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They are down to earth. Having a lite chat with them while they assist us is such an awesome thing đŸ€© you can find heaps of spots for parking but to avoid peak hours mainly school time! In case you don’t drive, this shop is very close to the Artamon train station. Opposite side. There is a post office next to my house but I would prefer to drive and come here! Good job guys 👍👍

So, it depends, sometimes it's fine and occasionally it is bad. Below is my old review, but since then I have only had decently positive experiences visiting this post office. I believe this is quite possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I've had fairly nice experiences there in the past, and the lady who I actually was being served by was very nice so this is a shame.

Absolutely appalling customer service, staff are always moody they announce their issues in front of customers. Today 1 lady said she was about to snap & needs a break so ignored me & left the desk. The old man has hearing problems & always asks you 10x what you said. I'm getting quite fed up with it to be honest because it's not a 1 time problem it's all the time.

Clearly have no knowledge of any process. Went for a VOI, guy had so many issues. The VOI document clearly states what is required as a proof, but no this guy wants more proof. And in the end after wasting 30 mins (in between helping his colleague who is even more clueless), says he wants some document, which is by the way not even mentioned on the VOI form. Wast of time. Got it done from another post office without any additional documents or fuss. They are clueless, good for only collecting parcels. Sitting there getting a paycheck for being ignorant dimwits.

Advertise early collection for parcels but they served one person then refused to serve anyone else. They don’t open on weekends so just make it extremely difficult for people with jobs to get their parcels that they requested to be left on their doorstep

I have had a very disappointing experience . I got back from holidays on Sunday and saw a note in my mail that you have been trying to deliver a package and that I have to pick this up at the Artarmon (NSW) post office. Tue 28/2 will be the last day to pick it up. You also mentioned that there is an early pick up service from Mo-Fri 7.30-9 a.m. I went to your store in Artarmon yesterday Monday 27/2 at 8 a.m. and everything was close. Where is the early pick up service???? Then I had my partner picking my parcel up today, as I'm working further away. He took the time to leave his office to go to the Artarmon post store and was there at 12 p.m. In the meantime you guys have already sent the parcel back!! If the last day to pick the parcel up is Tue 28/2 then you at least expect the parcel to be in the store the whole day?! Otherwise put "before 12 p.m." on the note. Apparently they sent it out at 9 a.m. - well the store has 1 or 2 stars on Google so I could have expected this.

This post office never notifies me when I have mail. I have to constantly check my phone and see if the package got delivered. Nothing in the mail, no email, no text, when I should be getting all 3 I would settle for one but that is apparently too hard. I have complained multiple times and had my details updated and still nothing. I have had multiple packages returned to sender. I have gone in to ask if a specific parcel arrived (as the tracking service from the seller said it had been delivered on that same day) and was told "we would notify you if it came in" when they couldn't find it. I left my phone number with them and requested notification if it arrived. It was later returned to sender so it was obviously in the post office at some point but I received no notification except the seller asking me to pay delivery fee again! Rude staff, useless service, crappy opening hours, I see no reason to give this office even 1 star.

Rude staff, stay away from this place. They take pleasure in being difficult,giving excuses and makes up their own rules. My passport application not acceptable to them was accepted in the nearby post office without any issues. The female cashier take pride in being the most difficult, by jumping into on other cashier`s transactions and commenting. It seems Auspost select naturally annoying people and train them to be professionally irritating nutcase. Australia post got to be the most annoying customer service in Australia. The level of consistency across the stores in ensuring every customer leaves the store annoyed and ripped off is a real achievement of its enterprise, thanks to its corporate senior management vision to be a painful part of Australian life.

Would mark this location as 0/5 stars if that were possible for consistently terrible customer service. Have set up a parcel collect box at this branch as my parcels were always being sent to the PO without the mailman checking if we were home. Even with this service, I rarely receive notifications that my parcels have arrived. On a number of occasions parcels have been returned to sender as no emails or app notifications have been sent - which has resulted in high postage costs. I have at times had to result to checking for mail in person daily to ensure no packages are returned to sender. My greatest disappointment is receiving damaged goods and finding that parcels have gone missing in their back room, only to be found at a later date and then being blamed for not having collected them earlier. My most recent package has been marked as delivered on the 22nd June. As I have been interstate for the past few weeks, and as the only account holder, I find it unusual that it has been "delivered". Fingers crossed this one hasn't gone missing as well.

I am a local at this post office, and am a regular of the delivery service here. Many of the staff here are delightful, with the one exception being the managing supervisor of this branch. An elderly caucasian gentleman, who on a number of occassions, has adamantly refused to facilitate customer service, here are some stories: 1. Package has seemingly been lost or misrouted. Manager refuses to pass along any details other than the general Australia Post phone number. Questions such as: 'Is there a nearby post distribution point where I can go to have them look up my parcel', or 'Could you contact the parcel contractor who last scanned my product on my behalf?' are met with the same response. "I can do nothing but give you the phone number." The phone number is just there to put you on hold for an eternity. In the end, after some googling, I discover that there is indeed a parcel distribution place 5 minutes away, who are happy to both look up and provide me with my parcel. 2. Am a regular, and pick up 3-4 parcels a week. I am positively identified by another of the regular workers in the shop. Photo ID happens to just be expired, supervisor insists on withholding my parcel until I provide current photo ID. 3. My photo ID shows the same address as that of my wife. My wife and I have frequented the post shop together and been positively IDed by other workers in the shop. Managing Supervisor refuses to release parcels addressed to my wife, to me. In general, the service at this post office is actually quite good, and this Supervisor is in general, fine (if a stickler for his own sense of the rules), but there are some days where he is needlessly difficult. It's all low level annoyance stuff, so it doesn't mean much in the scheme of things, but it *is* unnessecary. My preference is to wait a little longer in line to be served by someone *not* this supervisor, I would advise you do the same.

Have to agree with most of the comments here. Terrible customer service from one of the staff members - she was unfriendly, unwilling to help and rudely told me to wait in the line when I went to be served when she was clearly doing nothing. Next time learn to treat your customers with respect instead of yelling and getting annoyed for no reason. Will not be coming back.
