(Review updated Jan2023) I was saddened somewhat that the Unihill Bundoora PO closed as that was my local and some of the staff there were nice. But I am glad to see them working at the Bundoora Sq. branch. Hopefully their good service lifts the credentials of this branch. (Review updated May 2022.see at bottom of review)Called this branch one time, person answered no greeting, and phone just put on its side or similar. I could hear the workers talking in the background. I waited for at least 2 minutes, enough time to address my call. I could hearing everything, just idle chit chat. Not work related, then I heard a worker ask is there was anyone on the phone, other worker said, no, then first person said, put it on the machine, which I assume is the answering machine and then phone call ended. Rang back straight away and yes the answering machine was on. Have called several times since then on different days and always get the answering machine which says that no one is there and call again. Does not even allow you to leave a message. Also not informed on two occasions that I had parcel at the parcel locker to be collected, after 2-3 days it gets held at this branch. No informing of this. One item was sent back to sender, the other I managed to collect from here but only after I put the tracking in online and saw it was being held at the branch. Serving at the counter though the staff are friendly. Update. May 2022. Had a parcel sent from overseas. once again no notification that it was at post office for me to collect, Item was sent back to sender!!!!

Got there at literally 4:59PM the other day and they wouldn’t let me in to collect my package that they had received only 20 minutes prior, and prior to that I had actually been at my house when they tried to drop it there but the man literally knocked and waited for two seconds before leaving with my package. The Asian lady at the front refused to let me in even thought it was not 5 or past 5pm yet, I explained that this was an important package needed ASAP and she still wouldn’t let me in and actually ignored me while I tried to explain that the man hadn’t even waited for me and I’d been waiting for it the whole day and it was an urgent parcel…

Would give a zero if I could!!! Aus post has caused my elder mother much distress when someone new to the post office in Bundoora square Melbourne had accidentally signed for her passport and then they said the package had already been collected, when the manager realised they still had the passport package under her name and someone else in the office had signed for it and processed it as collected, instead of apologising they demanded that she withdraw her complaint. Overall so much hassle. Deliveries do come on time, but definitely avoid getting auspost shipping where I can from now on. I definitely think they’re a bit racist as well, since if I walked in with any kind of similar situation with my white blonde fiancé I can guarantee these issues aren’t as prevalent and their behaviour much different than how they have treated my mother. She had also had to miss an entire day of work due to the fact she was waiting to collect her passport at a certain time and it was never even attempted to be delivered to her directly.

I arrived at 5:01pm to collect 2 parcels, I was told that they closed at 5:00pm. If they were closed the door wouldn’t have opened and I wouldn’t have been able go inside and talk to them, they were being pedantic and intentionally unhelpful. How hard would it have been to take an extra minute to give me my parcels, now I have to make a special trip tomorrow!

my local post office, i have been coming here multiple times over the years. Staff are always rude and unwelcoming. First the asian lady yelled at me to come to the counter, (and this was not a yell to only get my attention) it was a yell as if I was stupid and to hurry up basically. Secondly, this is the only store that has ever made me tape my own parcel up and wait in line again to process a return. Danica is very polite, served me with a smile. The other girls I have never seen smile or be nice.

Rude Asian female staff! Experienced very rude customer services this morning with a female staff who spoke Mandarin with me. I asked the Chinese passport photo just taken that looks like was not the right way compared to the sample of internet. So I was passed to this Asian staff by the staff who took the photo. The Asian staff straight away speaking with me in Mandarin and said, I can take another photo, but You don’t come back! You better quick, I am busy!! She spoke In Mandarin! I was shocked at that time the rude way of her speaking. It was for my 80 years old mother and she is trying her best try to take off her jacket and pose for picture! She is such rude to talk off me in Mandarin whole time even I can speak fluent English before with other staff. Such a shame…I bet if I insist not to speak Mandarin following her, she don’t dare to assault me with these rude words in front of other customers and her colleagues! Felt humiliated by such a rude Asian staff, treated me like this way and felt race discriminated by the same Asian who speak Mandarin to me! What a shame of her!!

Is what it is. Staff are pleasant but service can be quite slow and due to the store being relatively small, social distancing results in a queue extending outside the shop which is not ideal. Only go if I absolutely have to. Ample parking and a range of other useful businesses in Bundoora Square.

I missed my passport delivery at my residence as I was away for a couple of days. When I got back it was a Sunday, so the next day I attempted to go to the Bundoora LPO to collect it with my notification and ID. I also got a notification from my Aus Post app that it was ready for collection. When I got there, the lady who attended to me rudely said that the note stated that the passport was only available for collection the next day. When I showed complete surprise, she evenly turned and confirmed this with her colleague and told me to come tomorrow. I walked out of the post office, both angry with the rude indifference of the service and myself for not noticing the date in the notification slip. Just then I remembered the app. I opened it and it mentioned that it was awaiting collection at the Bundoora LPO. I went back into the post office and went to other staff member who retrieved the passport. In all my experiences with parcel collections, I have never met with such rudeness. Here were staff, who were quite happy to send a customer back without making the slightest effort to check if the passport had arrived. By the way, even though I mentioned this to all three present, they were were too racist to even apologise.

After a mix up with an address and a call to Australia post, I was told parcel at this post office. I called them Friday afternoon and even though it wasn’t on the computer, they looked out back and found it addressed return to sender. They held it for me and I picked up in morning,saving a week of return posting. Friendly and helpful staff, nothing like other reviews. Thanks.

I have had trouble sending off an international courier. I was sent to multiple places by staff and even called ahead some places and was still sent off. The experienced old Aussie lady was very rude. I went to post my passport details on 16 December. Every thing was good then once I showed the experienced lady my passport photo she was so rude she told me no that's not accepted. I got my passport photo done at office works. She didn't even say why or ask me do you want me to get a photo here? Next thing I went to Eltham post office and they accepted simply. After two days later the passport head office accepted it as well and it's now being posted. I recommend to stay away and look at all the shocking reviews they have!!

1 star is too good for this horrible place went to collect my missed parcel from them on Saturday , and their closing time was 12 i was there by 11.55 and door was already closed. so i simply showed them my card via the door since i just wanted to know whether i can collect my parcel. but without simply saying that that old lady (probably manager) signal from hand to simply get lost, i was shocked and annoyed since its not even 12 and she was already packing her bag to go home. so i waited a bit to see what happening. then she shouted at the staff to switch of the lights and made a very un polite hand signal to me to get lost screaming from her counter( which i didn't hear any words but by the nature i know not pleasant stuff). i never believed the reviews here but now i understand why this place has very low score and Australia post must train their staff to treat customers with dignity. if you are non Australian brace yourself for a rude arrogant treatment by the staff here.

I only go to pick up parcels and buy stamps. As a local of the area I do know what others are referring to as an icy reception by certain staff. Some seem to rotate to the uni hill location which I also attend. I have had no real issues with my experience there. It's a standard affair. Nothing outstanding pretty average standard service.

I wouldn't even give staff at Bundoora post office one star. I asked a gift to be posted international to Canada. They charged me postage and the gift was never reached to the destination. Poor service and not trust worthy.

Went there to renew passport. The chinese lady at the counter was extremely rude and proud, not even wanting to have eye contact, looking away while talking. So rude!!. Rejected my passport photos stating it was not to Australian passport requirements. She said they can take photos there. Their cost was much higher than other places. I think they want to reject photos deliberately to generate business for themselves. Went to another post office and no problems. My passport was accepted and renewed. Would have given zero stars but the site does not allow. Australia Post need to do something about this!

Came in to collect a package, they could see on their computer it was there in store ready to collect. Instead of finding my package while I was in store, they photto copied my slip took my phone number, told me they'll call me as soon as they find it. Once I've gotten home I've called to see if they try to find my package, instantly over the phone they found and and asked me to come back. Then in store I've asked why I didn't receive a call saying you found my lost package, instead of a simple response I've had three of the workers gang up on me telling me 'it's you fault I'm not a mind reader' and we where bbusy like Christmas day. I felt attached by the staff and it was unessasary to blame the customer. I'll direct my packages else where from now on due, to the staff.

Wish I could give a 0 star. Horrible service and irritatingly inconvenient. My whole day got ruined because of them. Simple parcel pickup turned into a big mess. They don’t bother to check your parcels properly, simply said” it’s not here”. Not recommending for anyone unless it’s ur local post office.
