The other reviews are no joke. Avoid if possible and go to another location. Even if you have to drive to somewhere else, it will still be quicker than waiting here. Huge lines well out the door and no staff at the desk. I can see why they have stress balls for sale.

Need to double the serving counters and serve more effectively. Long lines every Saturday mornings and also during lunch times over the week. People needs to allow up to 1hr just waiting to be served. Please do something.

I will not choose this post office again. Waiting time is too long as all customers will be waiting in the same queue no matter you are here to collect parcel, send sth or just buy sth. I just wanted to buy 2 express envelope and I waited for nearly 40 mins until I could make a payment.

This feedback is in relation to postal workers in the Rhodes area: I've had a couple of scenarios where I've been carded extremely late giving me little to no opportunity to pick up the item from the post office, most recently I've had a replacement item that I wasn't provided a tracking number for returned to Germany because I was carded on the final collection date. Conveniently I've been told they have photos of my mailbox that apparently they can't provide me (as if this proves that they provided me with a collection card - which they didn't).

I will rate it as 0 if there is a 0 option. They never deliver the item. Even though you are at home. Australia post Never Deliver, Never Deliver, Never Deliver!!!!!!! Never Deliver!!!!!. It is a collection office and only open from 9-5. With a 30 mins wait queue. I would like to ask Rhodes 2138 post office change it’s name to collection office. Because it can not deliver or post anything.

Sending a parcel to Wentworth Pl PHYSICAL delivery address, Wentworth Point Depot INTENTIONALLY scanned it to be associated Parcel Locker and redirected it to Rhodes Post Shop rather than doing a delivery, the delivery address is not associated with Parcel Locker at all. Rhodes Post Shop didn't wait for 7 days for receiver to collect and returned the parcel to delivery team in 48 hours. There are many reviews that Wentworth Point Depot done this many times, both Depot and Post Shop didn't follow SOP. I urged Australia Post Senior Management to take discipline actions against the staff to both of this Offices as they have breached Standard Operations Procedure, as a results the parcel is on UNKNOWN status at the moment. Couldn't believe such a lousy services in Australia Post. Post Shop, Delivery Depot and Customer Service are three separate entities, they don't care or talk to each other and just let customer wait for systems update. look like they are not from the same company. UPDATED: After two weeks missing in actions, the parcel finally got delivered today......?!

Excruciatingly slow service, atrociously long queues, ridiculously short trading hours on Saturdays. Be prepared for identity verification to take upwards of 45 minutes (and that’s after waiting similar amount of time in a queue). Be prepared to be asked to hold up a piece of cardboard behind your friends when they get a license photo (apparently the ceiling lights cause too much glare for the cameras?). To add insult to injury, half the floor space is dedicated to junk “As Seen on TV” merchandise that no one wants to buy, where all they really need to do is process postal/verification transactions more efficiently. Very nice experience of Australia post Rhodes today while sending a parcel to India . Staff is jovial efficient and help full. Envelopes, letter parcel package etc displayed nicely with price. Good wishes.

One star would be overrated.. Always a long queue and 30mins wait is standard. Also the whoever is delivering the parcel recently in Rhodes area is just unacceptable..if I put the address as my home address and i am literally always at home, my parcel would go straight to post office with a note that no one was at home when the intercom didn’t ever ring. Ok fine and to avoid waiting in queue to waste my life and to shorten the time needed to go to pick up the parcel, I chose the parcel locker, and even better they still send the parcel straight to post office. No wonder the queue would be so long always as literally they don’t need people to put on address just put on the address of this post office would do the job :)

The old lady who was standing in third counter is very rude!! Not sure what ppl shortage can let this kinda unprofessional, uneducated,untrained ppl works here. I asked my friend to collect the parcel for me as she refused to accept my Scanned Chinese passport. So I click” let someone collect this parcel” and showed her the collection authority from Post Office App, but she said she cant give me the parcel unless I have the physical copy of my ID. So tell me what’s the point of this function? She gave me the parcel until the young lady staff came to her and explained to her what is the collection authority and how it works. What a ridiculous, time wasting experience!

Please send parcels to the correct location requested instead of delaying delivery by sending them to the Post Office and then a parcel locker. I am sick of seeing “incorrectly sorted and forwarded to parcel locker” messages on the Post Office app and having my package arrivals delayed by a week+.

Whatever change Australia Post has made to their delivery rules recently, totally sucks. Despite leaving a delivery slip in the mailroom in my building, they claim that they can't get access. Apparently there's no point in having a mailroom or an official postage locker anymore? The poor staff at this post office seem to constantly be struggling to deal with a line outside the door and down the shopping centre because everyone has to actively go and pick up their mail from the post office. As far as I'm concerned, this is a fundamental failure of the main thing that a postal service is supposed to do, you know, post things.

The AusPost website says there is a parcel collection hatch available Monday -Friday 6.30-9am. I went at 7.30 on a Wednesday and found that the hatch is next to the parcel lockers on Rider Boulevard, but you need to have a key to get into the PO Box room to then access parcel collection. Knocked on the door until someone came out and was told that yes, the website says parcel hatch, but ‘not really’, it’s only for people that have a PO Box there and a key. Pretty pointless, really. Update your website or make it publicly accessible as advertised. 2 stars for the guy that answered the door and got my parcel anyway.

If I had to compare to other post offices this one is definitely more flexible. They load balance, when busy they open up all counters. Keep in mind where this post office is located - most densely built up urban area of Sydney with hundreds of buildings with 100-150 apartments per building. Of course you will have to queue up just due to sheer number of residents in the area utilizing this local post office.

Worst post office ever. Avoid this post office at all costs!!!! The queues are always between 20-45 minutes no matter what time you go and the line is always out the door. There is not enough staff and the employees are so slow. I always have everything possible sent to my parcel locker or check safe to leave as I dread going to this post office. Worst of all Australia post is the worst in general and will not redirect parcels out of Rhodes Post Office, claiming you have to pick them up from there.

The lady at the counter literally took 5 minutes trying to fix her tape in front of me while I’m literally just waiting to get my ID verified. Then she told me that her system has issue so that I have to start over queuing again. And they lost my parcel once. Not sure which one is safer now, holding your parcel in this post shop or just leaving your parcel in front of your house. Worst post shop ever.
