With so much you can do at post shops these days they need to separate quick service v people with more complex issues.

I can totally appreciate the other reviews especially in regards to Passport applications and yes this should be addressed. However, my experience on a Friday morning with 3 applications was fantastic. Taylor was a kind, helpful and knowledgable chap who went out of his way to assist, even when we hadn't booked. He is a role model of Aus Post and I can't commend him enough.

We are in Cairns at the moment, had notification that we have a parcel delivery. Phoned the P. O asked if friend could pick up. Answer NO. Asked if they could hold it until we got home 31 Jan. Answer, probably not. In my opinion, just not good enough.

Went to lodge a childs passport application. Waited in line for 15 minutes and then got sent away because I didnt have an appointment. Checked online and no other post office requires one. Woman was rude in turning me away. Watched the same woman turn away anf older lady just before me who had been there twice already to try and lodge hers. Place should be reset with staff .

Que was so long, stretched outside across walkway to the bank.Didn't get to post some important overseas documents. Would have been waiting about 40 minutes to be served. They need to open all day Saturday to rectify this problem.

My advice for anyone looking to lodge passport application: don't waste your time here and book appoinment elsewhere. I was served by a very lazy short hair blonde lady this morning - refused to do a passport application because we don't do it on Saturday because there is so much to it. We were asked to make appointment Mon-Fri 9-5 only. Now it would be no problem but we came here before on a Sat to lodge it and was served by a young man so you definitely do it on a Saturday. Also I checked the aust post website for appoinment time at other post shop and they also do it on Saturday so I call it BS what she told me this morning. Didn't want to argue as there was a long queue of people waiting and didn't want to waste my time any further with this lazy woman who clearly is lazy and unhelpful. Kudos to all other staffs members whom i met previously in store, she is 1 bad apple and this 1 star is for her only.

Went to robina office this morning was served not the right word to use in her case by a woman who clearly should not be at work at this time as she was treating everyone as though they had the plague!! Told me to get back when i was on the line i said sorry but i am on the line!! I needed a envelope and was told there over there!! I went to get one but unsure what i needed and didnt want to pick one up?? Her collegue man called to me for the one i needed!! Completed envelope and got her again while i stood on line and inserted my card she stood well back, ifshe could have thrown the receipt at me she would have!! Go home you shouldnt be working because clearly you are not doing your customers any favours or yourself 😔

I have been a regular at Robina Australia Post for over 2 years and would just like to thank all the staff. I read the reviews on here and honestly I think a lot of these unhappy people must think they are above waiting in line, or have some rights to be rude. I have witnessed staff being abused for the most absurd things....surely people must realise that Robina has 1 post office and it is also one of the largest business and residential areas now on the Gold Coast. We all have to line up and wait , so what... as the old saying goes patience is a virtue. Seriously, some of the hardest working and friendly staff are here and as a business owner myself they should all be congratulated, especially with what they have to put up with that I personally have witnessed from customers in this store. So Australia Post customers, pull your head in and be polite and thank you to all the workers of Robina Australia Post. 5 Stars! it's a YES from me! ;)

The younger man who had originally served me was quite helpful, but when he asked for assistance from this older woman, she was rude and abrupt, and totally unhelpful. Needs to be zero stars! this place is a joke, so unwilling to help and very rude! Joeline is very short and rude with everybody. Auspost claimed to have sighted my ID with a matching address to my partners house and released the parcel when I was in Brisbane. my partner went into try and sort it out, she ended up leaving because the staff were so rude. none of my ID's have a Gold Coast address - clearly lying about sighting my address on my ID. I Went in on the weekend to collect another parcel. Joeline was serving someone in front of me (removed her name tag), not only was she short and rude to the lady, she did not sight an ID, she just asked if her name was Alex (not actual name) the lady agreed and she handed over the parcel.

Great Post Office - visit there a few times a week and always very helpful. Staff member Joline was very helpful when a package going to the US was lost in transit in the US - she was able to track it down, and the package was returned to me.

Such rude staff, lady with short blond hair spoke down to me and made me really upset I ended up leaving the store in tears, I have never experienced anything so horrible. Nobody should have to go through that experience, something desperately needs to change in the post office.

My friend waited half an hour in line for a passport photograph (after being told to wait by the staff) after which a Caucasian lady walked in with her family, asked the same staff for a passport photograph and got it done straight away while my friend was still waiting in line. I would like to think this is not an act of racism and just plain rudeness but either way that is unacceptable of staff to treat certain people better for whatever reason and I am extremely disappointed that kind of behaviour is still present in this day and age. Poor effort in my opinion on Australia Post

If your looking to waste 30 or 40 minutes, visit Robina Town Centre Post shop, they have more staff there than any other shop on the Gold Coast but are the slowest in Australia, possibly even the world. What I love in particular is they have a floating staff member serving people at the back of the queue , when I've been waiting there for what seems an eternity. Why does't she just get behind the counter and serve everybody IN ORDER. Then there's the big fella who gets behind the counter, wont serve anybody and just potters around pretending that the queue isn't a mile long and we the customer have nothing better to do than waste 30 minutes of our lives in your stinking shop

I understand that post offices get busy and queues can be long- I have absolutely no issue with that. What I do have an issue with is incompetent and rude staff members- Australia Post, you need to get your act together and train your employees on your own policies (which I had to show the staff member on my phone), and train them in providing adequate (not appalling) customer service.

I have never been in this post shop when the queue hasn't been at least twelve people long. Although the staff are friendly the shop is badly laid out due to the queue it's hard to get in and shop for anything you need and then the wait is simply ridiculous. I have given up using this place they desperately need more staff and a bigger premises for somewhere like Robina.
