Find the post office staff efficient and have had no issues picking up parcels. Only issues are with delivery, as majority of time now it appears there is no attempt to deliver to someone’s home, it’s quicker just to drop off to the local post office. Have experienced this 3 times in 2 weeks where I was at home waiting and no attempt made.

Lots of negativity unfortunately within these reviews. The team have always been helpful and polite throughout the years I have used this post office. As others have stated, their workload has visibly increased during the pandemic and they have remained professional throughout.

Pretty sad to see a lot of negative comments towards these guys. There seems to be a lot of misguided frustration in regards to delivery staff who work from a distribution centre and not this specific post office. Have been collecting a lot of mail/parcels from here over past three years and watched as the volume of work increased during the pandemic. The team are always happy to assist and regardless of how exhausted they look can look by 5pm they still manage to help the best they can, even keeping the doors open to serve the last-minute crowds after hours. Solid effort and big thanks!

This is my local post office and the staff that work there are incredibly helpful and go the extra mile for their customers. For such a small post office, that at times is very busy, they manage to offer a very high quality service. I have seen them handle rude customers in a very professional, polite and patient way. I also work from home and they have never knocked at my door when they need to deliver something. You always have to go and pick it up. This week, I went to inquiry about a parcel that I have been waiting for for almost two months; apparently the parcel is with them but they cannot find it. I have left my phone number for someone to call me three days ago and give me an update and I never heard back. They also do not answer their phone... I am not sure a Post Office should be operating this way.

Dont give accurate dates for when they will deliver, and then sometimes dont bother to even try delivering, instead sending you a text to come and collect from LPO. I will be using another courier in future.

They are really friendly in person. However, neglected to send a reminder slip for a parcel (did not receive a missed delivery slip either from the post person initially either) and returned to sender in Europe without warning. Only found out because I went in to enquire if it had been help up in customs but it had in fact been sat with them for three weeks! Australia Post's hands are tied and cannot rectify the huge inconvenience and disappointment. They get very busy between 4pm and close.

I work from home and they never ring at the door when they have a parcel for me. It's really disappointing. Update: after a year i left my first comment. They are still not ringing at my door and not even leave notes anymore. One of my friend sent me a surprise parcel 3 months ago and i never received it because no note has been left to notify me about that parcel. So it went back where it came from! To me this post office is useless and NO they are NOT welcoming but yes they do work. You don't have to be good to have a job, you just have to work. -Tips if you want to receive your parcel from them : no surprises and track your parcel down by yourself, it's clearly not there job to notify you that something is waiting for you in this post office.

For its size, this is an extraordinarily busy PO so don’t get upset because they don’t answer the phone quickly. It is best to attend in person and join the queue like everyone else. I suggest if you want a complex transaction such as a passport check get there out of peak hours. I have had no problems with the service which is fast and efficient and polite, as it should be to not hold up the many other customers. Not sure what standard people are applying as a rule for “rudeness” but the behaviour I have encountered has been friendly and to the point. I suggest you have a first world problem and should go elsewhere if offended. As for not knocking on the door for parcel delivery that is the sub contracted Auspost person who is responsible, as the Waverley PO owner has no control over their behaviour.

Seemingly polite until a parcel goes missing which is supposed to be hand delivered . Then no responsibility is taken and the driver is blamed .This happened on 2 consecutive occasions and the male actually laughed .There appears to be a communication difficulty .
