Never ever get our parcels delivered by their van drivers. I have raised 4 complaints and they all get closed saying the driver attempted to deliver… ahh it’s awkward because we have cameras and the driver didn’t even show up all 4 occasions. One of the occasions he took a picture from the side of the road inside his van of our property to show he “attempted”. Really poor effort. We have pensioners in our street who don’t have access to drive or walk to the post office to get their mail. And here we have their van drivers just ignoring all deliveries. One of the elderly neighbours of mine said if he catches a hold of driver he won’t be able to drive a van for a long time. Amen to that.

This post office is not open on the weekend and it’s really inconvenient for people with 9-5 jobs during working days. I directed my parcel to the locker hoping that I could pick it up anytime by myself (that’s what the staff promoted to me anyway). However, I received a message saying that i had to pick up my parcel in person and it cannot be put into the locker for my to collect…a bit disappointed. :(

This has been my go-to Australia Post location for a few years now. Very friendly and helpful people. Never had any issues. Just keep in mind there's a 5-10 minute queue occasionally, in case you're in a hurry

Driver didn't attempt to deliver the parcel. Got a message saying that it should be coming around 5 to 7 pm my parcel just ended up stuck in this shop without sending the driver out for an actual delivery. Why are you not sending driver's out for delivery???

Delivery drivers make no attempt to deliver parcels to property, despite me being at home at time of parcel ETA. AusPost App for my delivery preferences is being completely ignored and instead of delivering to nearest LPO, Driver awkwardly sending majority of parcels to LPO which required either a train/drive to access LPO. Parcels are small in nature which majority could even fit into letterbox. Have issued multiple complaints and overall service w/Drivers and West Ryde Post Office is incredibly disappointing. I try to avoid any retailers who use AusPost.

You will never receive the parcel. I contacted the Aupost customer service team, there have been dozens of case numbers over 2 years, but the issue is still not resolved. Aupost keeps the unattempt delivery and finds excuses that would not stand and tells you that you have to pick it up even though you are at home the whole time. If any delivery option is available, please do not choose Au post, because they don't deliver.

Visit them and you won't be surprised - the staff really live up to their reputation - rude, uninformed and arrogant. When asked about a normal service the replied was "I don't know, you need to look it up online", then refused to explain more. There are better ones out there for sure (Ryde, Eastwood...) This one is definitely in need of a total staff change.

The tracking says no safe place to delivery the parcel but excuse me I and home the wholetime and no one ever rang the bell. Only west ryde post delivery has this issue while all other post could manage to leave the parcel in the lobby. I doubt if they even tried to delivery the parcel from the beginning or just click on the computer says no safe place to put! Aviod this place!!!

Fourth time here and been served by the same short lady with a serious attitude problem. If you're going to make people wait in line for 30 minutes because there's only one person at the counter, maybe don't top that off with a sarcastic, arrogant and rude attitude to your customers.

Poor attitude staff. Zero greeting. “COME HERE” was the call. Not hello, hi. Pls come up here. How are you? Zip! Well then there is why I went to the post office in the first place, to collect my parcel to which they claimed I wasn’t home. See image. I highly doubt all those recipients whos parcel is thrown on the floor was “not at home”. I received an SMS on the day my parcel was due to arrive at my home. It says, if you are not home and if you are ok for us to leave the parcel on your front door reply Y. I replied Y 5 seconds after reading that SMS. Invalid response was the reply. Soon after… come and collect your parcel at the West Ryde Post Office. My goodness… if I could select zero star for this place and this service I would. PS lady at the post office did say have a good evening upon me leaving the place.

Some staff has poor costumer service and rude attitude. Postman never deliver to home address (Ryde). I always at home but never hear doorbell and get notification as attempted delivery. He always deliver to West Ryde post office which is far away from my home( it takes train from my home). I always come to collect heavy parcel from office by train! Staffs are lazy to check parcel in backroom because they always says that your parcel is not here! after so long waiting, one of staff check again and again and found it.They always not try to find parcel.Lady asked my contact and said that I will call you when we find it (is it okey to communicate with costumer like this)😳??? What is it mean? She did not apologise what she did her fault and rude attitude. I already received email for collection before 2 days I come. It is their responsibility to clarify and check parcel. Please, improve costumer service and do not waste someone's time. It is happened to me 3rd time to hear my parcel was not in office. I do not understand why theseladies are so rush to say parcel is not in office instead of check it oroperly. Feeling frustrated and stressed to come and collect parcel from West Ryde post office.

I have complained about it but I think it's part of their business model. Pathetic. The staff here are ok given the circumstances but there needs to be accountability for the couriers or should I say Phantoms visit your place but don't ring the bell and vanish.

Australia Post is a scam business. As a consumer I pay for delivery only to be notified that I have to go out of my way to pick it up even though I was at home when they allegedly 'attempted to deliver but failed'. This post office only opens during business hours that makes it impossible for people who work during these hours to pick up their package they paid to get delivered to their house. Not only this but they refuse to redeliver it to a closer post office unless you lodge an online enquiry which hasn't been answered for 2 weeks now, and the call centre doesn't take your calls.
