I love this post office! Been going there for years. The ladies there are always super helpful and lovely to me! I know there are a lot of bad experiences with the "Asian" lady, but she's always given me good advice on how and where to ship things. I can tell she's a very hard worker and efficient at what she does. Perhaps it's just a communication barrier.

I've never had any issues with the service at this Australia Post, the ladies here are helpful and do what they can. I usually just go to pick up parcels or post the occasional parcel. They appreciate friendly and organised customers!

Beware entering this post office. Customer service doesn't exist and is only provided by one individual. I am always treated with disdain. Yesterday I politely asked if they could check if I had another parcel. They stated loudly, "we gave U 2 parcels. Where is the other one? I explained that the other parcel is from a different person and would like them to check if I had another parcel from the one sender. They then said I had to bring back the other parcel. WHAT? I yelled as they were unable to listen yet again that I would like them to check again as I am missing an item from the sender of one of the parcels. They reluctantly checked. And I responded by yelling at them in the same tone that they use. THANKYOU, THATS WHAT I HAVE ASKED U TO DO! No more of my business will occur here and I'm changing my address. I have kept quiet for some time but now refuse and will always withhold my money from business that operates in a disgusting manner with no understanding of basic customer service! It is duty to serve the customer, not a duty for the customer to serve! Also went a few days back after work to drop off some parcels. They said to come earlier as it was 4.45pm. I said that I am unable to come earlier and that I work. Yet again , disgusting non service. I was out the door by 4.50 and 2 people came in after me. ???? I will never tolerate bad service NEVER!!

I always find the staff helpful and efficient. I am polite, chatty and I try to be as prepared as possible to assist them. Yeah sure sometimes there’s a long queue and the staff struggle to stay on top of things. But overall I can’t fault them and am leaving this review as it is is stark contrast to a number of other reviews here on here.

Superb little local post office. The two regular staff members are fantastic and very helpful with postage options. NB: this LPO (and other smaller ones) do not do Working With Children Check cards.

I would rather hand deliver my post on foot cross country in a pair of broken jandels than deal with captain '5 stamps only' aka 'make my own express parcels to save $2'. Have you ever had the displeasure of trying resolve an issue with Centerlinks online customer service representatives? Well, the manager of the Seddon post office makes them seem like a small, well polished army of Alfred Pennyworth's with minty fresh breath and complementary foot rubs. Australia Post, if it had any sense of brand preservation, should immediately sever Seddon post office like James Franco in 127 hours, for it is like a mangled hand holding the last box of stamps, jammed in between two boulders.

I’ve been to this post office a few times as it is my local, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but after my recent visit I would recommend travelling to another suburb as I will now. I asked for an express parcel twice and because their parcel packets all look the same for some reason (they are using envelopes turned inside out) I couldn’t tel what they had sold me. I wanted the parcel to get across Melbourne by tomorrow for my nephew’s birthday but I got sold just a regular post product. They often don’t have what you need - they were out of postage stamps yesterday - and they charge you extra fees on top of the postage costs.

On occassion they have been nice if I act incredibly grateful. But post offices are meant to sell stamps and not get annoyed if you want more than three or four, or if you want to buy packaging and not immediately lodge. They never stock proper satchels and instead use homemade. Has been this way for ages. Most recently was told to go away because my eparcel label supposedly had an issue. Spoke to Aust post on the phone and they indicated I just needed to avoid Seddon LPO and try elsewhere. Was scanned and accepted without issue at Yarraville. I typically drive to Yarraville, Kingsville or Footscray now to avoid this outlet on our doorstep. Truly terrible customer service and have seen many many other people likewise on the receiving end.

As many other reviews mention. 2 lady's here, one who seems to be the boss is extremely rude, condescending and impatient. The other, dispute her efforts, struggles with very basic processes. Despite having a usual bad experience here, today was the worst. They gave me a quote and instructions yesterday which turned out to be completely incorrect. I was unable to send my item today and had spent time and money preparing it based on their guidance. They took no accountability for the incorrect information, and as usual, one rude argumentative lady and the other completely unhelpful.

Love my local Post Office, there hasn't been a long queue on any of the times I've needed to go in there, the staff are super helpful and friendly. I hadn't needed to use Post Office Services in years, so staff gave tips on best way to go about it and save money. I'm surprised at some of the reviews left on here concerning this post office's perceived rudeness, I certainly have never felt it. Keep up the good work.

One staff member is nice and helpful. But the other staff member is consistently unhelpful and rude, bordering on agggressive at times. I always try to avoid her as too many times I've left this place feeling awful after an encounter with her. There are often problems with parcel delivery too. Notified parcel can't be located, no explanation given.

Open Monday to Friday 9-5? Great guys. Most people in this working class suburb probably work 9-5 so when are we supposed to pick up our parcels? Sure I see you're open Saturday - thank goodness otherwise I'd NEVER be able to collect it. Even the milk bar next door stays open til 8 or 9pm. Other post outlets I'm familiar with stay open till 5:30pm, even this would be better than your terrible opening hours at Seddon. Come on Australia Post!

The Asian woman at this post office is an ABSOLUTE disgrace. I can not describe how rude she is and how disgustingly I was treated by her today when I went in to pick up a parcel. It was very obvious the other two post office staff members were embarrassed by her disgusting behaviour. I will never set foot in this post office again. I cannot believe a ‘customer service manager’ (I know she is the manager as she told me at least 3 times, no idea why she told me that? Power trip?) would treat any customer/s the way I was treated today. This is not the first poor experience I have had with this woman, and I have witnessed her bullying, rude behaviour with others on separate occasions. Foul woman. I will NEVER return.

The Asian lady who appears to be in charge would have to be the biggest bully l’ve ever seen & l don’t know how her behaviour can be allowed to continue!! I have been into this post office many times over the past 5 years & have witnessed many occasions where she has been extremely rude & condescending to her staff. l felt extremely sorry for the staff member who was serving me today. When she had problems with looking after me the bullying l witnessed made me feel extremely uncomfortable!!
