Pretty disappointed when I arrived at 8:30am on a Monday morning to pick up my parcel, only for the store to be completely closed. Your Google hours list Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5pm. Even the opening hours in your own shop window states this. But deep within the AusPost website is the only place your true hours are listed: Wed-Fri 8.30am-5pm. Closed Sat-Tuesday? Wish my parcel had been sent to any other LPO.

Would be 5 stars but it's a 50/50 chance when you go in whether you get the guy who is super friendly, nice and is great to have a quick chat and laugh with it the other guy who just wants to get you through as quickly as possible and is very unhelpful. Would be great if people who worked at the store were given some customer engagement courses because they seriously need it. I've just turned around and gone home because I do not want to give them the effort I put in to ask how their day is if they are just gonna be rude regardless

I don't understand what all the complaints are about. George is the most helpful person I have ever dealt with. I have been going to this post office for over 20 years now and have never been as happy as I am with the support and help I get from him. I'm not sure if people realise this but customer service is one of the hardest jobs to do. There are days when you just don't feel like dealing with the general public and I've been served by people who are feeling this way. I'm sure George has days like this but it never shows. It never stops him from being the most helpful and polite person he is. In these very stressful times he never ceases to deliver excellent service in a kind and polite manner. Come on people, we need to stop and think about what we're getting when we get served by people such as George. I consider him what we now call "a frontline worker"... Turning up for work each day and making sure the customer is looked after. He deserves a bravery award some days, I've seen the rudeness in people that we often have to deal with in a customer service situation. But this never changes his level of respect for us as his customers. Don't give up George. Some of us really appreciate what you do.

If I can rate a “negative” rate star, I would. Sir, you’re an absolute disgrace to the customer service industry. I was going to send 2 parcels this morning. This man asked me to tap/seal my own parcel then I was being nice and tried it myself as he seems to be handful at that time, but i did not manage to use the sealing tool. Head back to the counter and asked him could you tap it for me? He INSISTED to ask me to tap it myself. I questioned him, “why am I doing your job?”, he replied that it was my job to tap it myself. Hello sir? I dont think you’d say the same thing if an elderly came into the store and you ask them to tap their parcel themselves. All you said was “I am busy”. And I’ve never been asked to seal my parcel for my entire life. I personally will never ever go back because who knows he might intentionally mess up my parcel.

Service has always been fine for me but the fact that I can call other aus posts directly and not this one is very annoying. The other aus post near my home also shuts half an hour later which really helps when I want to collect after work. I have a parcel with the Tranmere store but they shut before I get there and I can't even call them to make an arrangement for a housemate to collect. Yea nothing personal for the staff. I've always found them polite and helpful. But the way the store operates is very annoying

There is an individual named Mark (overweight middle aged man who wears glasses) who works at this post office (not sure if he's still there as I've never gone back) who comes off as abrasive and condescending. If you miss a delivery and it gets dropped here, call Australia Post and have them send it to another post office nearby.

The old white man Mike/Mark told me to 'smile' then told me to apologise for coming to pick up a parcel from his office instead of Magill (Tranmere is my local but for some reason my postie directed it to Magill which is further away, and I didn't notice because my parcels are always directed to Tranmere)... he literally said now repeat after me, say "sorry mike.."

As many have mentioned, 9-5pm opening hours is not doing anyone any favour. Would you even consider opening from 8:30am - 5pm? Perhaps the post office is significantly smaller compared to the others. Absolutely useless post office. The service is pathetic. I received a parcel but I couldn't collect it within 5 working days. The note told me my parcel was at this post office. I called this post office and after something like 4 tries, got through to someone. I explicitly told him to keep my parcel and that I will be collecting it on so and so date. Went to pick up my parcel on the specified date, for the guy to tell me that it has been sent back to the sender because I didn't collect it in 5 working days. No apologies. Nothing. He just told me to "organize myself better". Really? Thanks mate. I am organizing myself just fine. Your pathetic excuse for a post office should not be the one telling customers how to organize themselves. Have sent a complaint to Aus Post, but doubtful anything will come of it.

Despite paying for Express delivery, I did not receive my order for 5 days after it being sent. No card was given when the order was supposedly attempted to be delivered, despite someone home all day. Asked for a refund- "nope, nothing to do with me, call this number". Well the number hangs up on you after 5 mins so it's useless
