Went in the other day and there were two ladies who were just lovely and very helpful! Started conversation and asked me how my day was. Really great customer service. However, I went in today and there is one older lady who was just speaking to me so rudely. Had this awful tone on her which made me feel so uncomfortable, and I did react to her attitude. She has terrible customer service and an awful tone of voice for no good reason. This is really frustrating as it is the closest post office to me, so I will be making sure that someone else serves me next time.

Wow this place is depressing, it’s like an episode of the Walking Dead. The customer service is non-existent, I got mono-syllabic answers and grunts from the staff member I dealt with. Not helpful at all. No idea how such a place can exist!

Just like the recent reviews — what is up with the bad customer service? I wait in line and ask a question (because who else would I ask regarding sending something with a particular envelope) to find out later it when sending it that what I was told is not true? You would think that they would look at receipt it ask for a description of the person to find out who it was to retrain but no, because they don’t care. Not even an apology? There are clearly staff at this location that are way too comfortable in their jobs. Go elsewhere.

The dumping ground for lazy delivery drivers who could not be bothered to actually do what they are paid to do and deliver packages. Parking is hard at this post office especially when you have to get heavier packages. Staff are surly because they have to deal with the angry customers who didn't get their package delivered by the lazy drivers. A package that does not get delivered costs Australia Post more money with storage costs, other staff to service customers, bad impact on the brand, so the who thing is a mess. Employee drivers who are competent and incentivise them to deliver to a home or business and negative incentivise if they deliver to a post office.

Despite the efforts of one of the staff, this place is disorganised, poorly run and a stain on Australia Post. They are unable to manage simple processes like passports in a timely way, ensure customers appropriately queue and communicate somewhat accurate wait times. I queued for 30 mins only to be told to go and queue in a different line where I spent another 45 mins waiting for a rude customer who skipped the line to complete 3 passport applications on everyone else’s time. He was not asked to fill the applications out at the desk away from the line and the employee simply aided his behaviour and showed a total lack of regard for the other customers. Shockingly bad customer experience.

Wonderful staff. The best post office I have encountered in Australia. Very reliable . I love these guys . They do their job really well . I only want to go this POST OFFICE, despite having to catch two buses . But it’s worth it . They are super efficient and I can trust that my parcel will get to its destination. I have regretted using others as it’s almost impossible to get the information regarding the delivery of the items unlike here at Bondi junction post office in west fields , I must say . Surry hills was great but it shut down .

Went there to take passport photos. The lady was friendly but really don't know how to take photos, and kept telling me no one likes their passport photos or no one will look at your photo blar blar blar... That made me feel really bad after I told her to try again, then I left with the photos she took for me. When I got the photos, obviously my head was not even straight in the photo and she didn't even bother to tell me move my head the whole time when I was taking the photo. So I really can't stand the photo and have to go to cut price pharmacy to have another try, which is quite good. So wasted 20 dollars for the photo that I can't use in bondi junction post office! Hope the staff can learn basic photo taking skills so customers won't waste their time and money.

This post office will reject all passport photos that were taken at another location, just to get the business of having passport photos taken at this location. When I asked to see the legislation that authorises the post office to reject an application, they were unable to provide it. Would highly recommend not going to this post office location for any passport matters.

I went to Eastgate Post office today, as a first time customer there. I saw that it has been recently renovated and it looked really nice, however unfortunately my eyes deceived me. I have plenty of times gone to many a post office in the Sydney region to get documents of mine signature witnessed without any problems or issues. I just had to show ID, and it's a free service to the community. I proceeded to the counter, where there was a trainee there. She asked me kindly to wait to the side as she could not witness the signature. Which was perfectly ok. I waited at the side for about 5 minutes, it was reletively busy, which I understand however one of the staff members asked me rudely "why are you standing to the side? There is a line you know" Which I replied: "ma'am I was told by your trainee to wait here" and the rude lady said: "what for? And I said "I need a document witnessed by an authorised Australia Post representative" "No Australia Post never does signature witnessing." And I could go on and on. I even showed the lady the document, and I told her that post offices do do it, but she would not even want to see it. I asked where else in the local area I can get it done and all I got was "do it yourself" and I told her how rude she was for not assisting me in this enquiry. I have made a complaint to the post office, and hopefully this post office can get some retraining in both this matter and common Courtesy. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a post office and you are an organisation that "delivers", but clearly not this case. I had to go to Tamarama Post office to compete the document signing by the way. In which they even rang higher up to confirm that they could do it. So take a leaf out of their book EastGate Post Office. And "deliver" on Customer Service.

Pics and direction that Charmaine posted are for “collection only” outlet inside the parking lot (P6) of Westfield, entrance is on Grafton St and the nearest to Adelaide St. (not the one next to it) but the actual Post Office is located on Spring St inside EastGate Shopping Centre on Level 4. You can either park on L4 or L5. Customer service was good on a Saturday morning

I just moved here from Dublin and my mother sent me a package which apparently is sitting at this post office. They said they couldn’t help me because I couldn’t prove my address, which I just moved into, I don’t get any bills here or other post in my name. There is a return address on the package and my drivers license matches it, but they didn’t offer much help, except to check a post room under Woolworths, which was employees only I was told upon arrival. Almost an hour wasted, went on a wild goose chase and little to no help or sympathy. Not impressed in the slightest.

Shocking, shocking service. I used to be a loyal patron of this store, the staff were really friendly and helpful all the time. However, I feel really betrayed by the staff working today. In the past I have put large amounts of money in my own account by doing several transactions as there is no daily transaction limit. To my disappointment, the staff on duty denied me doing this despite doing it in the past. Don't trust the people working here, they have zero loyalty to customers. Shame on you

Long waits. At least there are sale boxes to look through while waiting. Slow lifts. Wheelchair access from Spring St only. Only 1 hour free parking be prepared and takes a while to get out.

(Review for Australia Post, Eastgate Bondi Junction ) I usually use this place to send my international parcels. Today I planned to send a large standard parcel to Canada. I checked on your website if I needed to consider anything before sending. There was nothing on your website about it yet when I stood in your long line in the shop and finally got to the front, the woman behind the desk tells me about a postal strike in Canada I knew nothing about! She then told me there would be a longer delay with my parcel yet there is NOTHING on your website about this! Then she tells me Canada isn't even accepting standard parcels and I have to only send express! I had to unpack and repack my whole parcel into a new bag. Also if you have a small question when you are in the shop, there is no one around to ask at all. I left the store because you only have two to three staff there and I couldn't get anyone's attention. You need more staff and your website needs to have the relevant information to prevent wasting valuable time.

If you need to post packages then the actual Post office is in the EastGate mall off of Spring street (where Kmart is). See my pics below. The location on google is for parcel pick up only. You can either access by going down the travelator one level from Woolies or walking in through the car park entrance on Grafton street.

Took me forever to find this place. For the benefit of anyone reading this: Enter, as if you were driving, through the carpark entrance (ground level) on Grafton St. near Adelaide St. Then walk straight into the post office at the end. And yes, P6 is ground level.
