Terrible service from the Managers of the store. Would not help with my query. No compassion. I wouldn't even rate 1 star. It's a zero. Never come across such a rude uncaring man.

Friendly and quick service! Dropped my parcel to be sent today and the lady had a friendly work attitude and smile. Organised, clean and comfortable store interior

After having dealt with another local post office sub branch I decided to go to Pallas Street store to do the banking from the school tuckshop. He was happy to do it, and told me, come here, we will do it, we get paid per transaction, so I front up to do it today, and instead cop a mouthful from the manager - how he doesn't have time to count the 25cents in the half bags, (he used a machine last time so didn't have to count physically all the coins) and he will only do it if the bags are full with the right coin dominations, ie $1 = $20.... well that's not what you said the first day! So what is it? I can't do it that way, as each day (at tuckshop) needs its own entry on the bank statement... Maybe you've just had a bad day but still..... I won't be back!

Since the new owners have taken over this establishment this has been my experience. 1. Earlier this year myself and my husband went in to buy envelopes with the printed stamp on them and later the same day I went to post a letter with a pre purchased envelope that I had bought that day. The man serving behind the counter turns to his staff member beside him and says did she (me) get this envelope from here and the staff member replies with yes charge her for that. I turned around to the man serving me. I said I was in here earlier today with my husband to buy a packet of envelopes re wind your cameras. I was made to feel like a thief for using my own envelopes! 2. Recently I went into the Pallas Street post office to pay my rates bill. I gave the man serving me "X" amount of cash enough to cover my bill and enough so I would receive some change $$ left over. I said to the man serving where is my change $$ ?. The man serving laughed at me with the customer beside me getting served by the cashier. Then told me you gave me this "X" amount of cash. I said yes so that I would get my change back. He said hahaha sorry do not worry it will be a credit off your next bill. While still laughing with his other customer about what he had just done to me. This is not what I wanted. As every homeowner knows RATES are not cheap. I just wanted my change $$ and never got it. I will not be using this business again.

I walked out after witnessing how rude and overbearing the staff were to two elderly customers in line before me. I won't be back.

All my dealings with this satellite branch (for lack of a better term) of Australia Post have been positive. When you are standing in line, which rarely gets longer than 5 people, it's great to look at all the items they have for sale. The main reason why I love this little place, is because when I get that red card in the mailbox, the staff there are quite happy to give me my package if I get there after they have closed, up until 30 minutes after. Overall for a post office there's very little that they do wrong, of course there are going to be isolated matters where customers will have a bad experience, but the majority (I would say 98 out of 100) will receive great customer service like I always have.

After au post apparently mixed up their tracking numbers and lost a ladies package. The Manager at this store allowed this lady to view security footage of my under age son picking up his own package and then record it. This lady then "somehow" got my address and turned up at our house physically threatening my wife and son and accusing him of stealing her package. When the Manager was confronted and a complaint lodged with au post they admitted that my son was %100 innocent and had indeed only picked up his own package - with all correct emails/tracking numbers etc. The Manager was asked to contact the lady threatening my son and let her know that he had nothing to do with her package going missing. The Manager responded by saying she was too scared to contact the lady and was happy to admit she had made a mistake but not fix it. I think making false accusations and handing out footage of an underage child is disgraceful. Then to let an underage child take the flak for hers and au post error and be continued to be threatened by a crazy lady is also disgraceful. Both au post and the Manager of this store should be extremely ashamed. Be warned this post office will hand out security footage of you innocently picking up your own mail to other members of the public, so you can be falsely accused of mail theft. It is actually astounding that the above can happen due to all the tracking emails etc. My sons package - tracking emails from the seller/au post with his name on it all the way from purchase to the exact time of receipt. The above beggars belief!
