Defying the oft-recalled archetypes of your typical AusPost Office as a bygone haven for workers too rude to find a job in any other customer-facing environment (looking at you, North Melbourne) is the Clifton Hill LPO. Always well-staffed and well-stocked (a fantastic selection of cards are in the back room), you really do feel the warmth of what a Post Office should be. A particular shout-out to Zoe, who never fails to recognise me as soon as I walk in the door -- mask or not -- getting my parcels ready to collect for the moment I step up to the counter. How's that for service! A true gem of Queens Parade, and one that residents of Clifton Hill/North Fitzroy should never take for granted.

WOW!!!! When you walk into a post office you really don't expect this level of customer service. We recently had a challenging situation with a passport application and Zoe, was just amazing. Patient, thoughtful, thorough and professional. Helped make a very stressful situation that much better - it will be hard to use any other post office ever again!!! Highly recommend for Child Passport Photos as well

We went here to take passport photos of our infant (anyone who’s tried to do this knows it’s quite a feat!) and the staff here were excellent - so patient and friendly and thoughtful. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and calm, in what was a challenging situation for all. And, despite the odds, they managed to get a passport-appropriate photo of our wriggly, crying baby!
