There is hope after coming to this place! I had a terrible experience at Success post office to do passports! The people here have amazing customer service skills and know how to process passport applications.

The older man at this post office is quite the rudest man I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. He blamed me for not putting the correct postage on a letter to England and it got returned. This after I asked for a prepaid envelope for England . So it was my fault and I am to blame for not knowing what I was doing. This appalling man is not suitable to have a p.o. franchise and reflects very badly on the good work done by the rest of Australia post. Then expected me to buy another pre paid. Needless to say I will avoid giving that place any more money Horrible man.

Overall pretty good. There's usually only like 3 other people in there so it's very quick for posting or collecting. Passport and photo services are slow though.

Postage services are excellent, but everything else will take ages.

Absolutely the most friendly staff. I have never had a bad experience. Getting my passport photos/organised took less than 15 minutes on a busy Saturday. 11/10

Chris Harlie - 2021-07-20

So lovely and helpful. Great post office to have in the community. Thanks crew

Luke Tidy - 2022-05-13

Was forced to wait 25 minutes to be served by the one person at the station that could take photos while he made a phone call. The nice young lady serving all other customers offered to come and take my photo after waiting about 10 minutes but got waved away. Very frustrating, poor service and no apology for being forced to wait so long after he said do you mind if I make a quick phone call before serving me.

Knight Dark - 2022-06-13

Lodged our passport renewal checklist during the lunch time. Nice easy. The lady there is particularly very friendly and helpful.

Jason Wharry - 2021-12-23

So slow donā€™t seem to care

Lotus Do - 2022-02-10

Friendly staff. Fast service. Usually donā€™t post reviews but this is my local post office and have always have had no problems picking up parcels.

Staff always lovely

I hate coming here. Itā€™s always so unorganised, my time has been wasted here multiple & the lines are always long. But my packages always get sent here itā€™s soooo frustrating.

Wes - 2021-12-21

Lost our parcel on many occasions. Delivered other people's parcels to us by mistake, and then take no ownership of the mistake. Some of the staff are rude.

Theaareo - 2021-05-07

Never been here with more than one staff member on. Very often a line of 5+ people. Expect to wait 10-20 mins to be served even during the day

I look forward to visit post office as I feel like family with the staff , especially the manger and his wife as my elders , they treat local community as a family . And comes out of their way to help locals . Thank you

There was once a time when I enjoyed going a little out of my way to support this family owned PO. Sadly it appears the love they once had for licking stamps has slowly made its way out the door; as is the style of Australia Post. No longer does the Mumma bear greet patrons with a smile and provide a decent quality of service. Today was the last visit for me, after telling the person behind the counter I wanted tracking on a parcel she proceeded to print off a sticker to post as a large letter which doesnā€™t include tracking. I told them again I wanted tracking to which I was told ā€œlarge letterā€™s donā€™t come with trackingā€. You can see how the cycle is beginning to spin so I digress. The post office muppet continued to do everything from then on slightly incorrect; put the next sticker on top of the postcode, put another sticker on the back next to the ā€œsent fromā€ address and do just about everything from the numpty handbook you could possibly think of. Iā€™ll sign off by teaching the PO staff of Hamilton Hill a new word to consider using for their future customer service interactions. Iā€™m ā€œSORRYā€ but Iā€™ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Adam Coles - 2021-05-24

Staff are friendly enough but it's just too busy & small for the amount of postal drop offs this site receives. Parking sucks too unfortunately.ā˜¹

Samantha Davidson - 2021-09-24

Avoid at all costs. Always a long line, staff are so slow and have zero customer service skills. The old female owner thinks everything is funny, loses parcels and never calls back. They always miss giving you all your items so you have to make multiple trips back to this place. This post office is an absolute joke and thatā€™s obvious by the multiple reviews saying the same thing. Such bad customer service skills. The owners and their staff need training.

So I get there 9.15 am to apply for a change of name passport he tells me there is no paper application available to go do it online I return back 3 hours later having no success and queried further for paper based application he pulls out a form and hands it to me and then takes photos without giving me a choice some of us work and take time off to do this stuff I vote with my feet sad this. I am a local resident

Sally Campbell - 2020-08-31

These staff did not do their job properly and tried to blame me when I asked for a refund.... I went to this PO's service counter and said ā€œI need to send these documents via registered mail to a local address.ā€ I was holding the documents (an inch of A4 papers in a clear plastic folder) in the windowā€™s service slot. The server - Razia - asked ā€œdo you want an A4 size envelope or larger?ā€ I said ā€œI donā€™t know, whatever will fit. I can take them out if that will help?ā€ She didnā€™t ask me to take them out or weight them but just proceeded to give me a larger than A4 postal envelope. I paid for it ($7.20) and she told me to fill it in and bring it back to her. I did so. Razia put it all on the scales (it weighed 900g) and told me ā€œItā€™s too heavy to send in this envelope. You can only use it for up to 500gā€. I said ā€œok, can I have whatever I need to send it then?ā€ Razia said ā€œyou will need to send it as a packageā€. I said ā€œthatā€™s fineā€. Razia then said ā€œI gave you that one because you told me that you only had a few pages to sendā€. I would normally have let an incorrect and unnecessary comment like that pass, but it seemed that it was pointedly said to direct the ā€˜blameā€™ for a minor mistake to me. I replied nicely ā€œI didnā€™t say that, I have to send lots of pages - so I wouldnā€™t have said only a few pagesā€. Razia then tried unsuccessfully to fit all the documents into an A4 size plastic package envelope. She said ā€œthey donā€™t fit into the A4 one so you will need a larger one for $15ā€. I said ā€œSure, can I get the refund on the first envelope please?ā€. She said ā€œNo, you should have asked for the right envelope for what you neededā€. I replied ā€œI never asked for that envelope, I told you that I wanted to send these documents and I had them all together inside this clear file when I came to the counter. You were the one who gave me the wrong envelopeā€. Razia said ā€œI canā€™t refund you as this envelope canā€™t be used as it has writing on itā€. I replied ā€œbut you should have given me the correct envelopeā€. Then another ā€˜helpfulā€™ server who had just come out from the back area felt the need to intervene and informed me ā€œyou should know what you are posting and told us that it weighed moreā€. At this stage I was a little perturbed to say the least. I replied ā€I donā€™t know what envelopeā€™s are required - thatā€™s why I came to the counter, if you wonā€™t give me a refund how to I lodge a complaint?ā€ Razia told me to go to the Aust Post web site. Throughout this Razia and the other server were exchanging semi-smiles with each other. I asked Razia ā€œWhy are you smiling at each other? What is so amusing to you about this?ā€ Then the other ā€˜helpfulā€™ server - bless her heart - said ā€œyou can keep the original envelope and use it to send something else laterā€. I said ā€œare you stupid?ā€ The ā€˜helpfulā€˜ server got a little upset and said ā€œwe can refuse service and want you to leaveā€. I said ā€œabsolutely, I donā€™t want your service and I will be lodging a complaint and getting my money backā€. I left, rang Aust Post and explained the situation. The Aust Post gentleman apologized for the poor service and for their refusal to refund. He said that it was very unusual and they should have refunded me for an envelope that I could not use and was not posted ā€“ even if 'I' had asked for the wrong one (which I had not). He refunded me the $7.20 and lodged a complaint on my behalf. I went to the Fremantle Post Office and asked for exactly the same. Guess what - they weighed the documents before giving me an envelope. AND they recommended an ā€˜Expressā€™ A4 registered envelope that was the same price ($15) as for the NON-express larger than A4 registered envelope that Razia ended up selecting. Not surprisingly, I managed to easily fit all the documents into the A4 envelope. I do hope Razia and the staff there get the training they need in customer service skills, selecting correct postal envelopes, fitting documents into said envelopes and on Australia Postā€™s refund policy and Australian laws requiring refunds for items sold that are not fit for purpose.

Friendly service

Nat Miller - 2018-08-23

Very friendly and supportive staff. I lodged a passport application at this post office and the manager explained every step along the way and made it into an easy and quick process and made sure I understood what to do. The best place to do passports- efficient, accurate and helpful service. Will definitely come here again!

Friendly enough staff. But as often with the post office, very slow...

Jason Alford - 2019-12-31

Nice people but the service is far too slow. Donā€™t go there for passport application. I had to wait for 45 mins also had to go back because marriage certificate wasnā€™t attached.

Brennus - 2018-10-24

great staff, run by a few small families, get along well with them and they always greet me at the door and now know my name :)

Alayka Balraj - 2018-08-23

The service here is great, friendly staff, fast and efficient. Would 10/10 recommend this post office.

Jamie Taylor - 2018-08-28

This is the Worst Australia post I have been too. The bloke behind the counter took 45 minutes to process a Msisc form for me. I pretty much had to tell him how to do his job. Half an hour in and he tells me to move aside so he can take other customers passport photos. Then I get a email today from Veritas telling me he did not scan my information properly. Will never come back here again. Terrible service absolutely no bloody idea.

Cerena - 2018-02-01

Terrible customer service. Rude and unpleasant men. He made me wait for 20 mins while he chatted to another customer. Then when it was my turn he told me to go away and come back with the mail forwarding application Then when I still hadnā€™t received any mail at my new address after 3 weeks I phoned Australia Post and they told me whoever put the form into the computer put it 2 weeks later than the date I requested on the form Now the bank has to stop my credit card as they sent my new one to my old address as the clerk put the wrong date into the computer. Go to south Fremantle PO. Much better service and nicer people

Cassyanna Gray - 2017-05-27

Excellent service. I had to do a Landgate ID verification which Fremantle PO were completely unhelpful with. Here the service was thorough and pleasant. šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

S M - 2017-03-08

The worst customer service ever. Waited in line for 20mins to pay license only to be told at the counter i need cash as the systems down.... Well a note on door would have been fair warning. So i had to go to the atm get cash come back only to be told I had to wait in line again. I had to wait as i needed photo on my drivers license. So i had another 15mins wait timešŸ˜šŸ˜ Very very very poor customer service. Will never go there again.
