Having seen the general rating given by people, I was not reassured to receive my package. But I still wanted to believe it and I did well! Do not always rely on the noted and judge for yourself. I had excellent service at this office. My package was supposed to arrive in this office but was no longer in Melbourne on the date the package arrived. The staff gave me the contact details of the manager. I was able to relay my package to Sydney. Unfortunately for me, the end of year celebrations did not allow me to have my package before my departure from Australia but I appreciate the service that has been attributed to me.

I think maybe 20% of parcels are actually properly attempted for delivery? My partner is usually home and yet the doorbell never rings. Or if it does they can’t wait two minutes for you to come down the elevator. Most just come straight here. And then the last two times I’ve come they can’t even find the parcel and I’ve needed to come back. What a joke of a service

Doorbell never rings but he said he attempted to deliver. At first, I blamed my bad ears but I checked there is NO record on my intercom. I thought I was unlucky but it seems it is the problem for everyone. The deliveryman must have more responsibility and the Australia post office needs to improve their system. If deliverymen are asked to take a picture as Woolworth does, this kind of problem never happens😡 I sent this issue to the customer service team today this afternoon, but I guess I should pick it up tomorrow by myself...

Had the unfortunate luck of having Auspost incorrectly redirect a parcel to this location - mistakes happen, but the staff member who served me (Tom) was incredibly rude, unsympathetic and acted like I was stupid when I couldn't tell him which number box my parcel should be in (...because it shouldn't have been sent there in the first place...). I complained about Tom's behaviour and got fobbed off by management. I can only pray I don't have to deal with him again in this lifetime.

Had a parcel delivery coming from Myer today. I specifically wrote a message asking them to call me when the parcel arrives or if they can’t access the building, no one bothered to call or even text me when they attempted delivery. They brought my parcel to this place which is right next to Myer. Ever wondered why I wanted the parcel to be delivered straight to my home?? Please can the postman and staff act more responsibly and actually call us before they take the parcel somewhere else? It’s really not that much of a hassle. That being said, the staff at the GPO were really nice and helpful :)) but still mad at Australia Post for making me carry a 8kg parcel home

My parcels always end up in the parcel locker even when I am at home all day. No one rings our doorbell nor call my mobile number. It looks like they don't even bother attempting to deliver the parcels.

Went here on Tuesday 6 Dec. At first staff told us couldn’t find a parcel after let we waiting 10 Mins and ask us to come back as he said it should be here but it wasn’t! i came to collect my parcel today but the man who work here did terrible job, normally post office will ask your track number and know about the detail, but today when i show the staff my track number and other information, he ask where is my home address, i told him the address, he immediately told me don't have the parcel here without checking anything and ask me to come back next monday...........i said to him the tracking show await for collection that's why i came here, then he ask me the address again, and finally go inside to find the parcel for me, man, can you do your job probably i know you are busy, doesn't mean you can lie, just take you 2 minute to find the parcel, but it will take me 9 minute if i need come here again

Haven't received a single phone call or a single message from Australia post. i have people at home 24/7 and Not a single door ring was heard. Then suddenly i receive an email(also not from aus post but from the retailer website ) saying they attempted to deliver my parcel and noone at home i have to collect my parcel at this address. Excuse me? No phone call no messages and no door ring then all of a sudden i was not at home? what's funny is the only message i received is from the retailers website but not aus post. From start to finish, I haven't sent any text messages, made any phone calls, and never heard any doorbell. Just tell me that I have tried the delivery. No one at home? ? ? Please, my family is 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Never tried to deliver it to us, just let us come here to pick it up! The only message I received was not from the SB Australiapost website, but from the e-mail from the merchant! If we have to pick it up by ourselves, I will also make a p online shopping. I just go to the mall and buy it directly by tmd! This is how Australians do business? Why can't Cnmd score 0 stars

Didn’t try to deliver my parcel either. Not the post office’s fault, but rather the delivery man. Hope they reevaluate their management processes or sack the people responsible for this horrible service.

3.5 stars Came here ever since l was a kid. It has a very “city” like atmosphere. The male staff is friendly but it’s not always staffed. Only sometimes. Be careful though, if you go alone it’s a bit of a sketchy place not very well secured and sometimes you may be in there alone. Or not. So just be careful, go around the busy times if you are worried. Otherwise it’s good. Also good idea for photos,since not many people are there, you can take as many photos as you like :)

They will assume the customer has done something wrong and tell you that they don't have your package. Has happened to me twice now at this branch, if you are tying to pick something up don't trust thier judgement. Talk them through what you need and be patient, the poor guys who work there have a tough job and they are not doing it well. Good luck!

The lady who served me today was super nice and genuine. Perhaps I came on one of the luckier days! Even though my parcel was an office address, and the postman didn’t deliver, I wouldn’t blame the post office as they wouldn’t have anything to do with it. Rather just complain to auspost.

A very bad experience. It's the first time I came here and I'm unfamiliar to the rules, but one curly hair woman wasn't helping at all. I can see she was mad at the wrong dates I give to her and she complained angrily to me. But why didn't you just use the tracking numbers I wanted to show you? What a rude and lazy staff!

Like others, I've had the experience of the postman taking parcels straight here without even trying for delivery (at our permanently staffed corporate reception). Very frustrating and disappointing. It's also hard to find information on this particular parcel collection spot or whatever it is ... I couldn't find it anywhere on the Aus Post website ... and the staff were not very helpful. I think they see customer service as secondary to their other tasks. Update: I followed this up with AusPost and the driver had recorded "road closed" as the reason for non-delivery. The road was not closed.

disappointed, a waste of time, I know it's Good Friday, but I checked on Google before I left home! Someone should fix that! My parcel showed "unable to get access to the building" F**king crazy, I was at home all day no phone call, no front door call, no notice, NOTHING!!! I went to this office to check, no parcel left!!!!!!!! After TWO DAYS, they left a notice in my building mailbox, INSIDE THE BUILDING, still with no call!!! WORST! I always use AUPOST, this time is the WORST!

Vi who tells me he is manager of 380 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000 is basically the living embodiment of bad customer service and everything that is wrong with Australia post. I would suggest that employing a bin lid would have been a cheaper alternative and would of most certainly done a better job at explaining why Australia Post were unable to deliver a parcel to me.

Australia post is deplorable but unfortunately they hold a monopoly in the marketplace so aren't held to account for their lack of service to their customers and the inconvenience they place us all at. A one star rating is to generous however a star must be activated to post a comment.
