Really friendly staff who assisted me with shipping some goods back to a supplier. Advised the best sized box to use, ensured that it wasn't moving / secure and was generally a really pleasent experience compared to other post offices. Would recommend.

I had the most wonderful experience at this post office. The lady was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. Service was fast and efficient, the best customer service I have ever encountered. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I don’t know whether the issues I have had come from this post office or somewhere else in AustraliaPost. All I know is that on numerous occasions a parcel hasn’t arrived, even though tracking says it’s been delivered. After multiple calls we find that the parcels are at the post office and haven’t been. There is always someone at home, and I don’t believe they attempt delivery. There’s never a note in the letter box. When you go into the post office to pick it up, they make you feel like a burden. Fed up.

The woman who works here and I suspect manages this shop refused to put her mask up when I asked. I work with immunicompromised children. She yelled at me after I told her I work with vulnerable children.

Went to pick up a couple deliveries and was really made to feel like a burden and an inconvenience. I'd been working 9-6pm for weeks and went to pick up deliveries as soon as I could, at my own pace. The young guy was super condescending and seemed like he was telling me off for not coming to pick up my deliveries earlier. Absolutely ruined my day and made me feel sad and like I was a burden.

A family run news/lotto agency and post office. Very friendly staff and increasingly efficient after taking over from the previous owners not long ago. I see others come to review sites to complain but, remember folks, for every bad experience there are probably 1000+ perfectly smooth experiences - the new owners do a fine job here.

I LOVE THIS POST OFFICE!!!! Lindsey and Phily are absolutely magnificent. Every time I go in there with some difficult item to post or some problem to do with a parcel- the staff there ( in particular Lindsay) go out of their way and go that extra mile to help me. I've been going to this post office for 15 years and it is always demonstrates that rare excellence in customer service. I always get a friendly greeting from the staff- they are second to none in terms of ensuring their customers are well looked after. Today I had a big picture I needed to send and Lindsey helped me by providing me with cardboard from out the back to wrap it in. This is not the first time he has generously assisted me and advised me on a parcel. I feel very lucky to have this sort of post office in my local area. THANKYOU ESSENDON WEST POST OFFICE- YOU ROCK!!!!!

The staff in the branch are nice, but the deliveries are a joke. Half the time I don't even get the delivery card left, thank god for online tracking or I wouldn't know there was a package was waiting to be picked up. Last week I did receive a card for once, but it was dated the 8th...yet arrived in my letterbox on the 12th? Numerous times I've had 'attempted delivery' for times when someone is home, and there was definitely no attempt made -- pretty sure it's because street parking out the front is hard and the delivery van just can't be bothered. Slack.

The Staff member there Victor Monga, failed to send my parcel correctly, therefore it got delayed severely ( it was expensive paintings being submitted to an exhibition which because of his incompetence the paintings didn't arrive in time) When I rang to see why this process wasn't handled correctly he became very aggressive and hostile and finished the conversation with 'no comment' I send a lot through Aus Post, this was hands down the worst experience I had from completely incompetent staff. Do not go to this Post Office

Both service staff are extremely rude. It’s their job to provide you with your parcel and each time I have asked for mine I’ve be made to feel like a burden! The lady rolls her eyes, the man makes comments on your demeanour when all you want is your parcel. I cringe every time I miss the postman at my house and have to go get it off these ppl. I’ve seen them be rude to other customers unfortunately leaving them with no option but to return due to mail getting redirected here. AusPost! Get onto these guys! They are giving you a bad rep!

Absolutely terrible post office! Claimed my parcel was delivered never was, then marked it as waiting for collection..wasn't at post office.. would like an explanation as to how that can even happen? Always hear people complaining about missing items here. Just a flat out crap service

Just went to pick up a package and the stupid cow said she will not go and grab it for me as there are so many packages for her to look through In order to retrieve mine. She also then said they are not even meant to be open today so that is why she wouldn't go get my package. If you are going to open your stoor then do your bloody job! Absolute joke this post office.
