This place absolutely sucks. I went there today to try to collect my book that I had been waiting 6 months for. They YELLED at me and showed aggressive behaviour to a 13 year old (me). It was my first time collecting and the person made me want to step into oncoming traffic. She was so rude and told me “don’t do that again” even though I had done nothing wrong. I had just been collecting a package that I was given a collection notice for and she could not do the bear minimum. It was a $16 dollar book for heavens sake. Absolutely disgusted. If I could give this place a 0 I would. She could have easily explained what to do next time but instead decided to send me out the shop shaken up and in tears. DISGUSTED. edit: her pen was also going places for no reason.

Tracking a parcel, due for delivery Monday - delayed (no problem). Early Tuesday morning, notification the parcel is waiting for collection at the post office! Nobody knocked on the door and no card was left! I rang (several times) to confirm my parcel was there - no answer. I wasn't able to get there until Wednesday and then I find out, they are closed for the rest of the week. Only open on Monday & Tuesday. Very disappointing! I understand delays happen, but this is far from an accidental delay. This is ridiculous!

At 2.09pm, got an app notification that my parcel was ready for pickup. Brought along the note as well which says I can pickup after 3.30pm. Arrived at 3.30pm, Asian lady at the counter took one look at my note and tell me to collect tomorrow morning instead because "postman isn't here yet". Didn't even bother checking at the back. Plus the app said it was "ready for collection" at 2.09pm. Seem like someone was just too lazy to check? Anyway went out, got a drink, came back and requeued. Got someone else, and guess what, the parcel is in the back. Wasted 30 mins.

Very poor customer service, the blonde lady should find another job! rude and condescending. I came in the store to pick up a package for my partner, the delivery driver hadn't filled out the pick up card properly and didn't write that I couldn't pick it up for her. When I calmly showed her the card and told her that the card didn't say anywhere that I couldn't pick it up she raised her voice and told me that I wasn't listening. I didn't bother arguing with the lady I thought it was out of the ordinary to react in such way. But after reading the other reviews I can see this is a common occurrence.

In the time when we are facing lockdowns and its unsafe to go out. The posties aren't delivering the parcels and deliberately taking it to the post office, where there is always atleast 50 people in line and hours are wasted. If you get paid to deliver, please bother to deliver. Ripping people off and taking advantage of people is not a nice way to go.

This post-office is in dire need of refurbishment, stale smell, old lights, small and cannot accommodate the influx of Bankstown residents collecting their items. Extremely busy on a daily basis, no additional support staff nor process to divide the queue between parcel pickup and other services. Shuts down on weekends, go figure.

I email them and they make it right from eastwood to Bankstown on same day i oredered but on display there is old address. But parcel come to right post office which is Bankstown. The worst post office ever. The service is slow then got to the counter after 30 mins on line to be told that service for passport close at 4 o'clock. I was in line at 3.59pm. So all that waiting time for nothing. What a joke! At least put some notification on the door so people shouldn't be waiting for nothing.

I cannot belive it, I just received the urgent reminder on the same day that they will return parcels to the sender at 4:53 pm. I'm working from home eveyday, but no one ship the parcel. But this time, I don't even receive the pickup card, email or message. Once I receive the urgent reminder, they are closed and ship back the parcels. What kind of service is it! They don't ship to my door so many times and I have to pickup by myself. What is the meaning of shiping? Please pick another serive but not post office.

I've never had an issue with this PO but to be honest, at the moment I'm extremely unhappy with them. I have had several packages addressed to my home and the postie doesn't knock, just leaves a card and sometimes even fails to do that (twice). So now for about the 4th time in the last few months I'm forced to go to this PO to pick up. In my experience if a parcel is being delivered by an Aust Post contractor in a van, they will come and knock. If it's with the postie however, they won't leave their vehicle alone so they don't come and knock, because I live in a unit. Why they can't send all parcels with contractors I have no idea, I'm so sick and tired of having to go to this PO to pick up my stuff. I have submitted complaints with Aust Post but of course I get lots of thanks for raising the issue, which is very important to them, and they're grateful for my feedback to improve their customer service experience, and that's it, I hear nothing more and the problem keeps happening. They only pay lip service to the customer service experience. Now this PO is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, why I don't know, and if you want to pick up a package you have to queue up outside for ages. Good luck with that. I have driven by the last 3 days and each time there were 15-20 people queued up outside, being let in one by one. I know this is for safety, but seriously, what do you expect when a major PO is open only 3 days a week? I basically have to let my package get returned and redelivered somewhere else now, at my cost. I don't have time to queue up for an hour waiting to get in. This is seriously a joke. Thanks very much Australia Post! UPDATE - I called Aust Post yesterday morning to explain the situation. They kindly sent a message to the Bankstown Post Shop to please hold the package for 7 more days to give me time to collect it. Yesterday afternoon, Bankstown Post Shop sent my package back to the sender. That's pretty much what I expected to happen.

Sadly it gets busy in here which doesn't seem to be their fault but if you're not collecting anything I highly recommend going to a different post office. I have an online business and receive and send so many products by mail at this post office. Everytime im standing queue I just wish I don’t get served by this rude lady. Every day that I use this post office, the staff are condescending and rude. I've never in my life complained about the customer service of any business because everyone has bad days, but every time I use this post office, my day is made significantly worse. Please somebody do something about this, the staff clearly hate their job and are taking it out on the people who are coming in just to use the services provided. Please save yourself the negative experience and use another post office, like the one in Central Bankstown.
