Wow, terrible customer service! Went here to submit a routine application for something, unfortunately for me, the rude person behind the counter, clearly on a power trip, wouldn’t accept my documents! I was told I’d need to go away to print something extra (which was visible on my phone but not even required) to provide even more ID evidence, even though what I provided had more than specified on the document! I went to another Post Office where it was accepted without a comment! Will not be returning here, its disappointing that even after so many poor reviews with the same comments on customer service that no action has been taken. Thanks for wasting 30 minutes of my day.

Fremantle Post Office is a three storey brick and corrugated cement. I love the design of this Post Office. The design could a Federation Free Style, in my opinion. The building has a prominent gable to the Market Street façade. The Short Street façade have two similar motifs gables but of a lesser size. There is an arched corner porch on the corner with entrance to the post office from both streets. We didn't go inside, but I'm sure the late 19th century design is still intact.

really bad service at the Post office in fremantle. i was told that you have to fill in an application for an renewal passport online and i did that which i dont mind but my friend from mandurah went in and got an paper application and filled it out and only took 10 minutes minimum but to do mine online it took nearly 3 hours but had to do it again because i made one little mistake. pathetic.

Terrible customer service, was made to feel like an inconvenience for wanting to get my item weighed and then send a parcel. Now I've found out that the parcel wasn't scanned at the time, so I (and Australia Post) have no idea where it is. Still sitting in Fremantle Post Office? On the Nullarbor? In an airport? Who knows?!

Only reason I'm leaving a 1 star review is because thats the minimum requirement. I had the displeasure of encountering 3 extremely unhelpful staff when I went in last week to request assistance with filing a damaged goods report. Not only did I receive zero assistance, I had to deal with 3 personnel who refused to acknowledge that AusPost would be liable for any damage my goods received whilst in their possession during transport. Despite the fact I had all the evidence there showing the puncture wound which traveled through the postage bag, through the cardboard container box and finally into the concealed container causing it to shatter. All 3 of these personnel said that AusPost is not accountable for the condition any goods arrive in nor is it their responsibility to ensure an item arrives damage free. From here they stepped up their argument even more by stating that the person to blame for the damage was in fact the seller! As they "should have chosen something more suitable to post my item in". As the cardboard packaging which had gotten it around the world just fine was obviously not enough once AusPost got their hands on it. The only thing I think that could have saved my item from being destroyed by AusPost would be a steel box, but even then I'm sure it would arrived covered in dents and delivered to the wrong house. Absolutely useless!

Would not use this service again. Went in to get my passport renewed. Grumpy lady had took my photos chopped my passport then told me the bottom 2mm of my passport application was missing so I needed to print out a new one. Went home sorted this, went to a post office closer to home founf out the photos she took were to small so had to pay for more and the chopped passport was an issue.
