quick and easy, top bloke who helped me

Completely unreliable. Should be investigated and closed down. Where do all our parcels go?? We have lived in the area for 5 years and I agree with many of the other reviews. I would love to know where everybody's mail goes. We never seem to receive a note to say mail has been attempted and taken to Cremorne and so have to habitually drop in to check for mail and packages which are missing. Each time we go through this circus of providing our details, being asked if we have a note and being told there is nothing for us at the post office. We then waste more time chasing senders, complaining to Australia post, having this investigated only for the outcome to be: it was at Cremorne the whole time and by this stage is often no longer at the post office as enough time has passed for it to warrant being returned to sender or, put wherever Cremorne post office put all this undelivered mail. Should I be checking their bins? In the last 12 months alone: A patchwork blanket handmade by family posted was sent tracked from Ireland, was not delivered, and regrettably ended up being taken to Cremorne. We visited numerous times asking if it was there (because that was what the tracking said) and each time we were told not. Many phone calls and emails to Australia post later it was finally revealed it had been sat there during the times we had been in! Eventually it did turn up in Ireland thankfully and a family member was able to bring it in person. Gift for my daughters 1st Christmas from her grandparents in Ireland. Never delivered, never turned up. A number of 1st Birthday gifts for my daughter sent from the uk also never arrived and did not turn up. Various items ordered for my partners business and sent tracked have not turned up and again, on visiting the post office we have been told there are no items there only to be advised when senders investigate that that is exactly where they are. Just last night we spoke to service NSW chasing a replacement birth certificate which we had been told would be posted at the beginning of August. Again, we have been in numerous times to ask if it was at the post office, and each time told no. Service NSW sent it registered post and when they investigated you will never guess where it was...Cremorne LPO. I am so sick of being lumbered with a completely unreliable and incompetent service. We like many others have now set up a parcel locker to try and limit the number of items not getting to us. Currently in the process of ordering passports and applying for citizenship from various countries for the family. It does not look as though a parcel locker will be accepted as a delivery address for some of those items... Something really needs to be done.

Have witnessed them be so rude they brought customers to tears on multiple occasions. They should be shut down
Antigone Hall - 2021-05-10
Terrible experience. Had to stick my own labels on for a return and no receipt given. Very strange.
Jonathan Moore - 2021-04-09
Always pleasant and helpful, go here a lot and never have any dramas.
Gez - 2022-05-04
Might as well add my 2 cents. Paid 30 squids for express post on replacement birth certificate from Tasmania (I know!). Registered post not delivered and no card left to advise of pick up at CJPO. Found out it went back down to Hobart. Hence, my generous one star review.
Taylor Dumville - 2021-12-19
Worst customer service. 0 stars.
Frank Vincent - 2022-09-07
The worst Post Office in NSW hands down.
Michelle Demers - 2022-05-09
I lodged a parcel here last week, and according to the tracking number it was never sent. I went back and asked about what happened to it and the guy said that heâs sure he sent it, and thereâs nothing I can do about it. Now I have to lodge a missing parcel request. Definitely recommend sending your post elsewhere.
Robert Gibson - 2022-04-22
How is anyone that works in a 9-5 job ever expected to collect their post? The opening hours are completely inflexible and unless you plan on taking a day off work to collect something, you canât get your post. To make matters more frustrating; most of the time the items that end up at this LPO are due to Aus Post not ringing the doorbell / dropping off in the first place. Self fulfilling cycle of parcel pain⌠Canât you just open at 8am or close at 6pm some days?
Tim Reid - 2022-04-20
The guy literally eats lemons - what a sour cranky person
Naddya Montoya - 2022-08-25
Friendly staff and quick in helping
Yolbitmez - 2022-02-01
I have paid for a quick post on 18th January, now itâs 1st of Feb and its still at Cremorne !! Come on, Itâs not even international post. From Cremorne to CBD ! Surely someone is not doing there job properly. Wait time on phone is over 30 minutes.Absolutely not acceptable service especially paid extra for quick post !
Aleksander Gubrynowicz - 2022-02-25
Slowest post office in NSW....
Alicia Butler - 2021-12-29
Tried to post a card only to Ireland and was told I was not allowed to use previously purchased stamps $2.00 in value. Instead, the elderly man insisted I must buy $3.50 stamp. I went to the Neutral Bay post office and they allowed me to use my old stamps and only needed to buy a 40 cents stamp to send. Not only did Cremorne office deny me using legal stamps, they also over charged. It seems Australian Post can not standardise their charging across their branches.
Nerida Leahy - 2020-10-23
Worst customer experience I have ever received.
Ben Ricketts - 2021-03-18
Only ever normal post office service here. Thanks!
K Mo - 2022-02-10
Staff totally useless
Matt Klein - 2019-10-02
I always get the best service at the Cremorne, NSW branch. The couple there are so friendly and they do their jobs exceptionally well.
Thomas Lutz - 2020-03-18
The couple working there is extremely rude and unhelpful. I get my parcel delivered to the local chemist and itâs a lot easier, faster and pleasant
Tristan Parry - 2020-05-10
Always very helpful. Never had an issue.
Grateful Macca - 2021-04-01
This office was nominated as an address to which I could have a parcel delivered that is closest to my residential address as an alternative to the street address. I thought that it would be more secure than having it left at my house. I have had satisfactory experiences with other post offices and agents. This office, rather than look up my account and contact me - I have an Australia Post account and they deliver my regular mail to me - or otherwise inform me that they had my parcel they made no contact and decided to send it back interstate (Victoria) to the sender. The result being all of the risks of having the parcel in transit over Easter. In addition their inaction and laziness in not trying to contact me requires me to contact the sender and have the item sent back to me in New South Wales. This is an example of truly poor service by Australia Post. Now I wait anxiously not knowing if and when might receive my parcel after Easter.
Barbara Xiradis - 2020-09-28
The couple who run this post office are always extremely rude and unhelpful.
Roslyn Selley - 2019-10-29
I have only ever had good service here. Itâs really convenient with plenty of parking, and unlike most of the other post offices in the area, there is never too much of a wait.
Yinglun Lei - 2019-03-27
The pair in this post office has gone beyond being rude. They have twisted personality. I picked up two parcels this afternoon. Asked the man whether he sees the postman and whether he can tell the postman not to take âsafe-dropâ requests back to the post office. He grumpily told me to stop yelling. I told him I wasnât yelling. Guess what he did? He started to abuse me in Chinese: âI knew you were Chinese as soon as you walked in! Even though your surname is changed. You married a white ghost, didnât you? Why donât you learn from your husband? All them white people are so polite. Look at that white ghost woman (pointing at a customer who was walking in), look how polite she is...â I was totally shocked by this manâs degrading comments on not only me but also my background. I said to him âyou have a problem if you donât want to be Chinese.â Then he said, âI still have my Chinese surname! Why are you not using your Chinese surname?â. To any reviewer who says the woman there is nice: the woman at this time had come out from the back with a child, and joined the man abusing me (in front of assumably their own child): âYes, why did you change your surname? You tell us why you are not using your Chinese surname.â And both of them called me disgusting for adopting my husbandâs family name. Seriously, Australia Post allows these two beings to run a franchise?!
Briony Builder - 2019-05-21
Awful service. Wait time is usually over 20 minutes. Management are very rude and uncooperative. They are often hiding out the back, and do not have a bell to ring for assistance. I often have to yell out to them just to get their attention, which takes another 5 minutes to get them to serve at the front counter. This place needs a complete management overhaul!
Wayne M - 2017-12-20
What a joke of an establishment. How can Australia Post allow this to happen. Surely, Surely there must be some kind of controls on service and standards. This is Sydney Australia in 2017. Why should we put up with third world service and keep paying first world rates. Does anyone know how we can get this sorted. Look at other reviews. Everyone is experiencing the same. Where do we go to get some action done?
Hamish Barnet - 2020-03-31
Whereâs the zero stars option? The staff are impossible and the Aus Post delivery drivers donât bother knocking on your door or even leaving a parcel slip. Countless bad experiences and no sign of improvement.
Elizabeth Forbes - 2018-10-02
Terrible customer service. I politely asked if I could use a small amount of tape to secure a package and the man continued to argue with me saying I needed to buy the tape myself and that he did not have any, when I point out that on the desk there were 5+ rolls of tape he said âthatâs staff youâre not allowed to use thatâ. Good job helping out a frequent customer. Even the other customers told me to just go somewhere else where theyâd be more helpful.
Sam Barnett - 2019-07-17
Bring your drivers license, birth certificate, passport, Medicare card and your Australia post card to pick up a parcel. Missing one of those things? No parcel for your my friend.
Jeff Parker - 2020-03-08
Nice people
Susie Middleton - 2019-12-17
Be careful of the man who works at this post office. He became so abusive towards me that I ended up calling the police. I had my three year old son with me but that didn't seem to register with him. This isn't just bad customer service, the guy is dangerous.
Peko Man - 2021-05-05
I could never imagine having such a BAD experience with post office, come on. The man working there said he didn't know what Hong Kong SAR is and asked me what SAR means. The worst customer service ever, I would never ever go there again. The lady worked there is nice though.
Fordree Design Group - 2019-05-09
Great, quick service, always polite staff and very efficient. Nice change from most other branches.
Robert Diovin Atengco - 2018-12-30
Despite falling short on customer service in the beginning of the year, they have actually improved. The place can be tidied up, but they still provide the services needed. The people at the counter has improved on service and is quite helpful. I think it is a good step in the right direction.
Hannah L - 2019-06-23
At 9:34am on a Monday this office is quiet and the staff did the job.
Thu Nguyen - 2019-08-09
The lady is fine but the male is pretty rude and unhelpful
Ely - 2019-01-30
One star is literally too high for such a horrid place. Terrible customer service. When I went there was only this one guy working there and he was very rude. He should be fired and the post office closed. I'd rather walk to Neutral Bay post office, though this one is nearer to where I live. I do positively wonder how this kind of place can exist in a such a nice suburb.
Kotomi Onodera - 2018-05-30
I have been living this area for over 30 years. I think that the Cremorne Post Office is the best Post Office in this area. Unfortunately these parcel delivery contracts hired by Aust Post give us so horrible service.
S James - 2016-05-04
Terrible. Impossible to get to if you work standard business hours. Never picks up their phone. Doesn't open on weekends. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS POST OFFICE? It should by shut down. Update: requested AusPost to have Cremorne Junction LPO transfer a package to another PO with reasonable opening hours (Neutral Bay) and they never sent it. Instead, forwarded my package back to china. WORST POST OFFICE EVER.
Fletcher Heywood - 2021-01-05
Absolutely terrible There are a few reasons why this gets 1 star 1 - The opening hours; 9-5 Monday to Friday? How am I meant to collect my package? 2 - The smell; as soon as you walk in you are hit by a horrible smell, like they have a leak and the walls are starting to rot. 3 - The staff; both of them were so unhelpful, rude and terrible to deal with. Dear auspost, please close it down Thanks
Natalie Sanchez - 2018-01-09
They never pick up the phone. I am also shocked reading all the other comments on here. Wow, they are bad. I must say the lady that works in there is nice. Haven't dealt with the male but it sounds like I don't want to.
Chad A - 2020-01-13
The post office itself looks like a meth den. It's literally falling apart, roof pieces on the floor, broken windows, cardboard boxes strewn everywhere like they are closing down. It's staff and customer service is about the same. Not to mention their drivers will come all the way up your secure apartment elevator to leave a "we missed you card", where they could just securely leave the parcel. They don't actually try to deliver, they just hand the red cards out. Very convenient hours of only 9-5. It's an absolute dissapointment when your package is coming from the Cremorne LPO, as everything goes perfectly when it's from Neutral Bay a few hundred metres down the road. I wish you could have the option to direct everything there. Australia Post should just close this down, it's existence itself is an inconvenience. It's already half demolished anyway, finish the job. That way you can say Cremorne LPO actually achieved a singular thing in its miserable and pathetic existence.
Scott Davies - 2018-11-21
One star is too high, This post office should not be allowed to operate, they do not care about Customer Service at all. They just say "that's not my problem" Australia Post needs to step in and either re train them or take back the site.
Ryan Beaupre - 2018-05-10
Having lived in Cremorne for the past 2.5 years, I can attest to the fact that this post office has offered a consistently poor level of customer service and are generally rude and unhelpful. Every time either myself or my wife need to pick up a parcel, it results in some form of confusion and/or problem. They're doing a great disservice to the Australia Post brand and should be audited by the parent organisation and have their license or franchise reviewed.
Jovi - 2018-09-20
The lady in this post office is nothing but friendly everytime I am at the post office, she has gone above and beyond for me with service and we always have a lovely chat. People need to give people a chance, I too have seen customers walk in and be completely rude, it goes both ways.
Anna Luedi - 2017-09-11
The man in this shop is undoubtedly the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I spent a lot of money to get fast delivery and tracking and my letter was not delivered. When I called to inquire about this no apology was made, no care was taken for their customers and the man hung up on me.
Emma Watson - 2017-04-05
Honestly the worst customer service one can expect from a quiet little post office. If you can avoid it, do! The owner refused to process my express envelope as he believed it was not a document (it was), he suggested I go elsewhere, I did and Neutral Bay had absolutely no hesitations and were much more efficient.
Sheree Petracco - 2016-08-19
Apparently you HAVE to give a star.. they don't deserve any. I have been calling all day. Non - stop to the point where it would drive someone insane. Even Australia post head office can't get through (they're not making a formal complaint to their regional manager about it) as no one can get through. Whenever I have gone in there, there is NO ONE there, so how can they not answer their phone? I've called 16 times now trying to redirect a parcel.
Mcgee - 2019-05-14
Absolutely useless service that could t even sell me a tracked parcel. This post office charges $2.40 more per postal package such as mailing envelopes that are meant to be a fixed cost of $8.55 The atmosphere is pretty dingy and empty shelves too.
