Extremely disappointing service, and this is not the first time. I make it a point to go to a further post office routinely as particular staff members here are persistently and unnecessarily rude. Today was no exception when I had to duck in here to send a package out of convenience. The lady who is always rude was again extremely rude, with no responses to basic greetings that even our children are able to manage, and a passive aggressive manner throughout the whole interaction. When I spoke to the manager Michael about this, he was too busy re-arranging childrens toys to even stop to have a decent interaction. It is clear that in this shop, not all humans deserve basic kindness and respect. If it wasn't so pathetic, the level of ignorance here would be amusing. It was a great reminder to avoid this place at all cost!

Horrific attitude and service. Basic human interaction skills would be nice for a service that is based on helping the community. Unbelievable! So glad this is not my local and it was the first and will be the last visit.

Have been utilising the parcel collect service at St Ives since Covid struck. In conjunction with the Australia Post app, the entire process has been flawless. Staff - a credit to the organisation.

Lovely staff but enormous queues - never enough staff on in the afternoons and they still accept passport applications in the busiest time of day. Currently queuing for 43 minutes and now about to miss express post.

Since the inception of St Ives post office, no matter how long the queue was, I was always happy to wait knowing that I'd get decent service. To my disappointment, today staff Jade was extremely blunt, impatient and spoke to me condescendingly when I made a legitimate enquiry about my express delivery. It was most upsetting. Fortunately, I went back with my enquiry and the manager Michael kindly addressed my concern and now I can rest assure that my delivery will arrive at destination after Michael fixed the problem. Thanks Michael otherwise my important delivery would have never been able to leave Aust.

Staff don’t have positive attitude. There is no coordination between them. The queue line up for passport in the same queue with others and very low efficiency.

Shocking customer service. Sold me the wrong postage product and scolded me afterwards in front of my child after I'd written on it. Seriously rude and unwilling to accept any responsibility in selling me an inappropriate product nor provide any resolution. Would love to see this shop replaced by a row of vending machines for a heightened customer experience.

This is a very busy post office , the staffing is not always enough but that is not the counter staff fault. I always find them charming , helpful & understanding. A lot of customers are very rude & the staff are always polite & efficient.

Collecting a parcel for my daughter early this week wasn't pleasant experience. The lady who serviced me was a bit impatient with my explanation and had a poker face the whole time. Might be a tiring day for her but there was no reason not to give a smile that cost her nothing. NOT IMPRESSED.

My son is to young to walk to the post office, but while at his fathers i couldn't pick up a parcel in his name. As a result the animals inside died. Not happy with this Post Office

The counter staff are nice, they deserve 4-5 stars but the parcel delivery is a joke, you get carded every 2nd or 3rd time (yes, when you are at home) and you go to the shop, there is a queue of people who have also been carded, picking up their parcels.

Serving the public is one of the hardest jobs. I don't know how the staff here manage to remain so calm, helpful and polite - even when the store is packed and unsupervised children are running riot while their parents ignore what their little horrors are doing.

So not child friendly! One teller was so out of line to tell me that my friend's kid was a spoiled one which i would have not taken seriously if at least she would have been joking around! He was teething so he was understandably not happy. You would have thought they keep their opinions to themselves and just do their job! That's what you are paid of lady...
