Very disappointed that it’s come to the point I need to give zero stars. SO many parcels with absolutely no attempt at delivery. My housemate works from home and so knows that the deliver driver in Waterloo does not EVER ring the bell but instead leaves a note to pick up. I am having to make 3-4 trips a week to the post office (which is never the same!! Sometimes Rosebery, Waterloo or Strawberry hills). An absolute joke of a service.

The shop can get very busy after 3.30pm, but I have found the staff are very efficient and friendly both for parcel pickup and post banking.

Worst Post Office in Australia!!! Waited at home for a parcel to be delivered -> Left my front gate open -> Checked leave parcel in a safe place on MyPost account. And what happens?? The AusPost delivery guy decides to leave a parcel pick up note for Strawberry hills post office without even knocking my door !! Why would you take the parcel from Waterloo to Redfern ? And what is the point of parcel collection options ? Just tell everyone to pick up their parcel from the Post Office !!!!!!

Google needs to create zero star just for Australia Post Office - I would pay for that feature! Staff has no clue what are they doing. Parcel collection is always a mess, ridiculous waiting time and they have no idea where all the parcels are. I got a parcel pick up card but the staff told me my parcel is on its way so why on earth did you give me a pick up card?!?? I went there at 9 AM as I thought it would be better to go there since they open at 9 AM but it was a queue already because staff was unable to find the parcel. They just open and they screw up everything already lol.

My family has had a post box for almost 15 years and we have never ever been disappointed. The service is quick, the area is clean and the price is reasonable. There’s no reason not to use this post office, highly recommended to come here.

I don't understand why you open a parcel pick up in waterloo at potter st, which the staff are wonderful to assist but what is the use if the drivers when they don't bother to come in to the building they take it straight to straberry hill parcel point pick up, its take a lot for me to get a bus in winter or rainy days as I don't dive and have health issues, its take 20 minutes to get there on bus or more and it's take two Block walking to potter st waterloo its pathetic the drivers excuses as they say that its goes to straberry hill due to the end of the run they have ... yet its take 2 minutes to stop at waterloo from where I live... doesnt make sense I have complaint numerous occasions but with no good outcome. Aust post you need to be more easier friendly with your service if you got parcel pick up so close stop using the ones that are far and inconvenience for people I have 2 waterloo and redfern near the station yet you keep using straberry hill. Train your driver to ve wiser and let them know they also need to enter the building I know they dont as the letter box is inside and they never leave card I know by the app but not by a card at the letterbox. Plus is easier if you dont come in because is above 2 fñoor give us a call easier we come down to pick up but dont just take it to the post.that is far.

Staff was really helpful and patient. No queue and was easy transaction. Just fyi regarding postal money (aka money order), you need either your debit card or cash, since credit card is not allowed for that. Also postal money has fee of $11

I would like to extend my appreciation and many thanks to Michael Jones from Strawberry Hills Post office and commend him for his five star dashing 💫service last week!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I came to collect a registered letter that Michael went at the back to collect for me and what was also truly appreciated in particular was that upon Michaels return he brought back along with him my PO Box mail as well, and what a gentleman at that!🎩 So how about that for efficiency and outstanding customer service that can be replied upon?🏆 Congratulations 🎉 Australia Post you certainly have a great asset on your team bravo 👏👏👏👏 Thank you :))

Cozy and if sending mail by Post, I'm very sure that my sending then sorted a little bit earlier batch collections. And my private safe postal box is just a next sliding door check. A more secure way of receiving important documents eg bank statement, my Gov link stuffs etc...

The delivery drivers rarely ring the doorbell - instead they just drive past and require you to pick up from the post office… On top of that, the office hours make picking up parcels incredibly difficult for anyone working a 9-5 job.

I went there with the slip and was told the package is at a post shop in another suburb. No further explanation, no apology, no details or address for where the post shop in the other suburb is. First issue is the older guy who works behind the parcel collection point he is rude, patronising and clearly hates his job , second issue is their parcel collection box's are in very strange locations with one outside and the other hidden away Inside , on a positive the main post office service desk is great.

The service is very poor. The awaiting collection displayed, when it arrives, it says it is not ready awful service. Item status shows awaiting collection, but the staff told me the item is in the trolley and she didn’t want to find it for me because it will take time.

The Automatic Dispenser for envelopes and stamps! Has not worked for two years, every time it’s asking you to tap then select product then you are supposed to tap again! The screen then gets stuck on Authorising Payment! I have requested them to fix to now avail! Be careful because it can take money out of your card while you still don’t get what you came for! I tried yesterday not working again! There is the same after hours machine in World Square Post Office and it works every time! Shame on Strawberry Hills Post Office for not getting it fixed’

Please update your pick up hours on Saturday from 930am to 1pm, not 930 to 2pm as stated on the website. And if you are closing up early during the weekday (5pm instead of 6pm) - please write a note outside the pick up area to notify your customers. There were plenty of people who came all the way after work trying to pick up their parcels and it's incredibly rude to just ignore them and let them queue outside.

The staff are usually wonderful, but the Post Office itself is a complete mess. Delivery drivers will regularly not even attempt delivery, fail to leave a pick up slip, refuse to leave parcels with building management, or attempt to deliver to businesses only ever before they open. Their phone is never answered, they'll refuse to redeliver, even though there was no attempted delivery in the first place. I've regularly attended where the queue of people is well out the door and more than a 30 people deep. God help you if you're one of the majority of people in the Waterloo/Zetland area who have to trek down here with its miniscule carpark and long lines to get a parcel that could've been delivered properly had the drivers actually given a rat's. Complaints about the drivers do nothing as despite having lodged at least a dozen about the same driver who is disrespectful, threatening, and has only once in about 3 years delivered a parcel correctly, the bloke is still running around pretending to do his job.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! This has to stop. In the past month 4/10 times no one knocked the door and left any card. My parcel hasn’t been dropped to my Adress despite me being in the house ALL THE TIME. These posties keep lying and taking shortcuts, I hope this behaviour gets punished. I PAY for delivery to my Adress, why would posties ignore my destination???!! You need to take action!!! I already filed a complaint last week for same issue and no one replied yet. Check your drivers route log!!! Such a terrible mismanaged business… SO ANNOYING!!!

I normally will leave excellent reviews for those front line workers especially during this covid lockdown, but this time i had the worst experience ever: I got an email last Sat saying that the parcel is on the way to my home, so i stayed at my home the whole day expecting to collect the parcel, but I did not receive ANY phone call at all and later found out the update " Unable to be left in a safe place - Location not suitable", and can only collect it next monday at strawberry hills post shop. So I waited two days and it is FRESH FOOD inside the parcel, took 30min bus to the post office and waited in the line 20-30min or so and then carried it (weight 14.2KG) BY my HANDS and took bus to home, and caused two terrible bruises on my two arms. My flatmate told me maybe the postman ringed our doorbell, which is not working, so my flatmate cant hear anything from the postman, well, why not they ring me at that very moment, at least text me, i would go and collect it, all these hassles and terrible bruise can be avoided??? Plus i really just want to follow the "stay at home" order

Place was "temporarily closed" today (which happens often according to other reviews), and with no updates anywhere on their own site to indicate they'd be closed or when they'd be open again. Also frustrating given it's one of the only AusPost sites to be open on a weekend, so going to any alternative store means waiting until Monday now.
