9 to 5 mon to fri, now that is the most ridiculous opening hours for a post office.

The staff are relatively friendly although the post shop is only open 9am-5pm Mon-Fr which happens to be when 90% of people are working. They offer no alternative times or weekends to collect parcels outside of the period where most people work making it very difficult to collect parcels. Randwick LPO should be utilised instead for parcels so the lockbox system can be used and allow people the opportunity to collect parcels at times outside of the 9am-5pm Mon to Fri period. Auspost please rectify this.

Highly suggested to change manager of the post office asap. ALSO ALL DELIVERY POST MANS IN THE AREA AND THEIR MANAGER WHO HIRES THEM AS SINCE MORE THEN 1 YEAR DONT LEAVE CARDS FOR COLLECTION OF POST ITEMS!!! I gave 2 starts not beacuse the staff, as they are wonderful, Two women absolutely kind and respectful and very professional so I give 5 starts to them, i gave 2 starts as balance of both as I give zero stars the " boss", as he calls himself. First of all leaders as role models are real managers and boss who display rude, bully and agressive intimidating behaviors are most definitely the old abuse of power boss definition. Today he has been extremely abusive with rude meanners. I hope and wish that Post will change soon manager to uplevel at lease with the employees who are fantastic. I dont recive post delivery notes cards since 1 year and paying for the service and the employees are keeping reporting to the postman management the issues but nothing changed yet. The employees was happy to report again but the boss was treating me like I was the door matt refusing to do anything and arguing non sense. " the boss " said he can report just after I spoke directly with the employee about it and she was ok to report to the higher management.

Disappointing service - poor knowledge and terrible communication. I needed to get an important academic document to Canada urgently to enable enrollment in an international Masters program and acceptance of a dream job. The staff assured me that international express courier would get it there in 2-4 days (even with consideration of current delays, as this service to Canada isn't affected) at a hefty cost of $96. After 12 business days we could see that the document was still in Sydney. Only after multiple calls and pushing for investigation did we find out that it had been returned by the courier because the 'sender address' was a PO box, which they cannot accept. This was not communicated at all on the shipment form and was not picked up by the staff that checked and approved the shipment form. This delay has jeopardised enrollment in the international Masters and dream job aspirations. I provide this feedback in the hope that processes will be improved so that this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future. Please make it clear on shipment forms that "the sender address cannot be a PO Box" and in the meantime, please ensure staff are trained to correct oversights like this.

CCTV footage proved no package or notice was left at my home. Two weeks later, (after supposed delivery) early morning I was given notification by the sender whilst I was driving outback NSW, that the parcel she sent had been delivered to and sitting at St Pauls Post Office instead of my place. I had no way of knowing this and the sender (in accordance with the tracker) believed I had received the parcel two weeks prior at home. So I immediately rang St Pauls during the course of the day whilst driving, each time leaving a detailed message as to what happened. (no one picked up and calls went into messages). That evening, St Pauls called and left a voice message, informing me that the parcel will be sent back on Friday that week. Didn’t even acknowledge or address my concerns. Immediately after their call I had arranged for someone to collect the package on my behalf. Once again, I rang St Pauls leaving messages to advise them. The following morning the sender informed me that tracking showed the parcel was on its way back to her. I immediately rang Head Office and they re-confirmed that the parcel was indeed on its way back to sender. So I cancelled pickup and left further messages at St Pauls. They never got back to me. Friday morning I then receive a call from St Pauls Post Office informing me that the parcel was still there!!!!! During the course of the conversation, St Paul’s acknowledged that Head Office gave them a call. Otherwise, I feel that St Pauls would not have called me at all. For whatever unprofessional reason, St Pauls thought to activate the return tracking code even though the parcel was still at the Post Office and I had left notice that someone was on their way to pick it up. I guess they kept their word, the parcel was there until Friday, however, their deceit, unprofessionalism and poor customer communications, caused undue stress and confusion. Their cunning deceit to activate and indicate a return backfired, as Head Office pulled them up on it and I have since filed a complaint. What allot of wasted time and effort put into this, for no reason!!! All caused by a Courier + Post Office who had both failed to carry out their duties and meet their responsibilities and obligations towards their customer.

Went to take the passport photo at St Pauls. The gentleman has provided a great service. They are polite, prompt, and professional. The shop is lots of different from a year ago, which was used to run by a family. They have added so many different things to the shop, gift lines, stamp & coin collections, and especially some Irish novelty stuff. Even window shopping feels so great. I have looked other comments and felt some comments are not very fair to them, such as non-delivery parcels and opening hours have been put to their blame. All of those faults should be going to Australia Post head office, not to blame the lovely local post office like them. Support this local post office forever!!!

Found this post office has changed from last year. More space to walk around. New gift lines adding to the office attract more attention from customers. Great thing is the staff are so nice to deal with. Saturday (non-open) we know this is not something a local post office can decide. Rude customer service officers and the delivery postman is extremely rude too. Very unhelpful and lacks comprehension of English both written and verbal instructions were given to buzz three other apartments in my absence and yet insisted that he attempted to deliver but nobody answered which is an outright lie! My three neighbours have been waiting for their buzzers to sound all morning so its absolutely disgusting service by Australia Post. The attitude and non-English speaking nature of the driver who was asked to speak to me over the phone was appalling.

The post officers at the Coogee shop were so much more competent I must say, wish the South Coogee parcels were still delivered there. In a nutshell, the first worker at St Paul's managed to discard the wrong collection card out of two I took in (i.e. he threw out the card for a parcel that was still in transit, rather than the one for my other parcel that I was able to collect). Trying to get to the bottom of this seemingly simple mistake of theirs took two more visits, their inability of deciphering a barcode (though I suggested I could pull it up on my email, but to no avail), not being able to offer an alternative solution to track my parcel, and twenty frustrating minutes trying to explain to a second worker the above situation, while he (wrongly) insisted that I had collected all my parcels. At last it was admitted (without a hint of apology) that they probably threw out my collection card by mistake. Again no guidance offered as to where to from there. My parcel (which I was planning to use out of town this weekend) remains lost in the ether of St Paul's office until I apparently will receive a reminder notice in a few days' time. A pretty straight forward mistake that a capable post officer would have picked up in a few minutes and mitigated with a simple apology for the inconvenience caused.

Good reliable service from all the staff here however the shop is very small and poorly designed. They have a nice selection of gifts and last minute things you can buy. The Australian designs on the gift cards are really cool. For some reason they also have a large selection of Irish gifts.

I have no problem with the service in the store.. im just really dissapointed with the delivery post. I have never complaints anything in my life abt anyone or anything and i do really love ausi post and i used to live in coogee too and the service was really good! Since i moved to randwick, it’s just the delivery post never press/ try to check if i am at home or not. They always just leave the card in the mail box, and i have to pick it up (of course after 2pm and i have no time for it! Eventho i have to pick up earlier it’s just not convenient as I always at home waiting for my post every morning whenever i have post coming. It’s just so annoying when you’re at home waiting for your parcel to be delivered but ended up just get the post card and u need to pick up your parcel to your closest post office. Please, check if the person at home or not first then leave the card if they’re not responding. Thanks
