I just want to say that the service here has improved significantly in the last few weeks, super pleasant. I agree with many of the reviews of the Asian guy working at the back and having the worst attitude and making it difficult to get your parcels but since he hasn’t been there the last few times I’ve gone, the experience has improved significantly. I also want to mention a lady at the front who is so lovely I wish I knew her name to thank her for always being so pleasant.

I gave 4 stars but withheld one because of my experience today. I have a PO box no but the online stores wont send an item I'm after to a PO. The lady at the counter just wouldn't understand when I kept repeating myself and kept repeating just address it to the PO Box no. When the attendant next to her made a suggestion she baulked mind your own businesses. So I asked someone else who was very helpful. How about trying a bit of understanding

Parcel lockers get automatically redirected to the post office. The post office parcel collection is very inconvenient to get to and have difficult hours for anyone that works.

After seeing and reading all the negative reviews about the Post office, I certainly had my reservations. But you cant judge a place until you go in and experience it yourself. All staff we're very friendly and helpful. I had a new staff helping me out but it just takes a little bit of patience and understanding that my request needed a little more time as she was doing it for the first time. For the time i was the other i witness the other staff being helpful and courteous to the other customers. Although there are numerous 1 star. I'm sure that there are 10 others that wouldve of given them 5 stars but just haven't left a review. :)

"Jasmine made an awesome job" My wife & I went for an ID check for property transfer. She was skilful and helpful, explaining everything while performing the process. She even was helping one of her colleagues from time to time. It's very good Austlia Post have people as Jasmine on board, she must be promoted and help to train other staff members. Came in to renew passport. Was told I needed a booking & that I should have looked at the website (strange, thought I had). Went back to the website to check, it says "Lodge your passport renewal application at a participating Post Office – you don’t need a booking". Was told I'd still have to book for the next day because they had someone coming soon for a 20 minute booking. They weren't understaffed at the time - had more than enough people working to waste time arguing with other customers... Thankfully on my way walking out someone in line told me to try the LPO in down the road in Glenhuntly. Passport renewed there without an appointment in 8 minutes (timed it), including photos. Not surprised when I saw all of the other negative reviews here. Recommend going elsewhere unless you have no other options.

Would give them zero star if had an option, they don’t mention anywhere that they need physical form of ID but would ask you to get the one or deny to give you the parcel. Even if their other team members were happy to give the parcel with digital ID. No team coordination n communication but all they know is how to yell at customers n tell them no for their work. They don’t care that parcels are already delayed because of covid n weather conditions. Rude and arrogant.

I've never seen so many grumpy/depressed/rude people in my life. They also need to fix how they look for packages, they take so long. I see them struggling for ages trying to find each package. I see that there are a lot of reviews about the same staff member being incredibly rude who was also rude to me... How has this not been fixed?

Like many other reviews, agree that service is terrible. Rude incompetent staff in parcel collection. Had to deal with same rude man a number of times. Seem to have zero training in how to deal with customers. The fact that there are so many negative reviews, yet nothing seems to be done, clearly shows Aust Post does not have any interest in providing any form of acceptable customer service. Will be avoiding at all costs.

Just echoing what others have said. While I have had good experiences with the staff here, I've also had some truly nasty ones, to the point that I now avoid using this post office. Most recently they didn't notify me that a parcel had been delivered and then returned it to sender without giving me an opportunity to collect it (and when I raised a request to investigate with Aus Post, they refused to acknowledge the problem and were unbelievably dismissive and condescending). Highly recommend the LPOs in Glenhuntly and Murrumbeena for consistently friendly and professional service.

Every single time I come here there are certain staff members who are so rude to me (particularly an Indian woman) and treat me like I’m stupid so I’ve decided to switch to sendle because of it. Maybe don’t be so unpleasant to your customers when they ask simple questions. Won’t be using Australian post again. Prices are also ridiculously high. Look into other options

This is probably the most disgrace and discriminatory post office I've ever seen. I have lived in Carnegie for 5 years, and every time I shop online, I may go to the post office to pick it up. Until the first few months, I experienced the biggest insult in my life, which directly caused me to move out of this suburb and never want to come back. I don't want to see this post office and its staff anymore! An Asian male employee here refused to give me my package and asked me to show my utility bill in addition to my passport under the fact that he knows me. My bills are all emailed and when I asked him to see my inbox he said I don't look at anything in your phone, if you have it you have to print it out and bring to me. In the end when we were arguing, this manager and employee kicked me out. However, this is not the first time this employee has been given hard time on me, and I can't count the number of times I have been bullied by this Asian male staff. BTW, I am an Asian too. As a post office service staff, everyone shows you enough respect and courtesy. But you think of yourself as God. Today, I want to expose this matter and let everyone know that this is an arrogant， bully and discriminatory post office. I will also make a formal complain to Auspost online and commonwealth OMBUDSMAN till I get the sincere apoligize from them.

I had the worst ever experience with the rudest staff under the name of Fusi in this post office. Make my life much harder than ever, rolling the eyes and scornful speaking attitudes are not acceptable at all. And also judging me saying that I’m a a person like to arguing. Who dose he think he is to judge the person in that rude way? Mismatching information between online and instore are not helpful at all either. If the explanation about the mismatch in politeness is completely understandable and agreeable. I wish I could give the staff Fusi negative ratings if I can.

I went here for a Statutory Declaration witness and was served by SUMBLA ASEEM. She was DISMISSIVE and said we don't do Stat Dec. I challenged her that I have been doing this for awhile, she asked me what sort of Stat Dec. I said it is for Section 30(2) Oaths of Affirmation Act 2018 and Australia Post is one of the list and showed her the evidence. She really demonstrated what BAD customer service is.
