One star if you want a passport or ID photo, not a good set up like castle plaza post office (tablet used right up to face while sitting in a little spot with lights on the sides, makes you look like a cartoon character lol they thought it was how it should be. Def not 🙈. 😂. B 5 stars for mailing things and picking them up, they're a nice family run little place - always good to support small operations.

Phone not being answered during their business hours. Postal worker has left a card saying "You have a parcel", but hasn't written the name on it. Not the first time either..... I don't fancy going there and waiting half an hour while they try to find it

Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are extremely helpful. I regularly have assorted packages to post and they go out of their way to work out the most economical way to post each, satchel, post pack etc. I take all of my postal needs to Daw Park PO because I'd rather my money goes to a franchise holder who has invested in a business than to the huge Australia Post owned stores, support the local little guy. Thanks staff at Daw Park for your ongoing good service.

Had a very good experience every time I went to this post office (whether it was to pick up parcels, copy documents, post parcels overseas, etc). The staff was always incredibly friendly, helpful and polite and did everything to help me with any query. Everyone was very professional and efficient. 5 stars and two thumbs up! A big "Thank you" to the staff at Goodwood Road Post Office.

Not sure if it is just that my previous house had a terrible Australia Post office or what, but I actually find this a good Aus Post. Sure the guys there aren't the type of people I would hang out with on a weekend or stop and have a good conversation to but they don't make getting a parcel hard, they aren't out to rip me off every time I try to send something (in fact, they usually suggest cheaper alternatives if there is one) and Im usually in and out reasonably quickly. I could see how some people could say they come across unfriendly but I think they are just honest and upfront and without the need for small talk and I actually appreciate that being fairly busy.

Have been using this post office since the 1990s, and after moving 5km away and trying many other post offices i still go out of my way to continue posting parcels here. They are the only post office i have used that finds the lowest freight cost where others all seem to charge the highest possible cost. Usually always multiple people working the counter for faster service, and they do not have a xlotto counter wasting everybodys time.

Little can dampen the excitement that comes from getting an email notification that a parcel has arrived at my local post office... Except the knowledge that it means having to deal with the rude and hostile owner. Imagine my delight today when I arrived to pick up my parcel and this same hostile man couldn’t find it so proceeded to mooch around, huffing as though it was an imposition to look for it. Nearly half an hour of waiting for him to STILL NOT FIND IT he told me he’d look into it and I could come back ‘some other time’ to check. After being aggressively told that he ‘doesn’t get paid for this’ I reminded him that whilst he does indeed get paid to run a post office - paltry sum that it may be - I most certainly don’t and in fact had PAID for the service provided by Australia Post. For having the audacity to call him out on his behaviour I was treated to a mouthful of self-pitying passive aggressive rubbish. It looks like I’m in the market for a post box now because I doubt this - or any future parcels - will ever be delivered.

Being the 11th of December I asked the staff if it might not be too late for the card I was posting overseas to arrive by Christmas day. Was told "of course, you've got 10 days... it's not the 1950's ..." Well guess what? It hasn't arrived... surprise, surprise. Ahh... to return to the 50's postal era...twice daily postal deliveries (on Saturday too)... reasonable rates... humble and courteous staff...

Don't try going here for anything to do with your aus post account or app. I was told to visit a post office with ID to update my name for my account. The guy at the counter had zero idea what the aus post app was, let alone how to update my details. His response when I showed him the app was 'what the f*** is that' - not impressed with this. Aus post needs to make sure all post offices are up to date with all their technologies.
