I give minus score. This post office should close down since it doesn't meet regular standard of Australia Post. I don't want my parcels to be taken to this post office. they only open lazy hours; I was unable to pick up out of my work hours.and, they sent back my parcels without a warning. It's useless for a post office, and a waste of space.

Words cannot express how terrible the service is here. Literally the worst business I have dealt with in my entire professional life. Unfortunately, they are my local parcel deferral and on numerous occasions the store doesn't open until say 15 minutes after what Google lists the store hours as and they also NEVER answer the phone. Australia Post should audit this outlet as they are failing to deliver the service.

I have only experienced great service. It is located off Bell and is in direct blast of Southerly cold. So many people are purchasing on line therefore the space is stacked with your needs. The space is/ was not designed for online purchasing. I believe People here do their best without reverting to Daffy Duff in frustration of circumstances involving individual parties.

Another below average review to add to the pile- almost mirroring the pile of parcels that sit in the middle of the shop floor. The “sorry we missed you” card states “collect after 4:30pm”- walk half an hour to the shop to be told “we haven’t organised our incoming mail yet, come back closer to 6”. Offered to help them only to be told not to walk around the shop due to the hazardous conditions mounting on the shop floor. In my experience Australia Post is the superior courier service but this particular LPO apparently lacks space, staff and a solid processing system.

After waiting weeks past the expected delivery date, AusPost finally attempted to deliver my package on a Saturday when I was away. Not the fault of this shop I know, but after getting a text saying it was available to collect at 10am I turned up at 11.30. Instead of being helpful and/or apologetic for the delays I got snark and rudeness from the staff before I'd even said hello. Apparently after receiving my text message I should also have deciphered the illegible postage slip that said the package wouldn't be ready before 4.30pm. I understand the delay, poor communication and backlog on the floor of this shop isn't the fault of the staff I spoke with, but the attitude I copped really just made an already frustrating AusPost experience extremely unpleasant.

If I could give a no star rating I would. The service is below standard on all levels. You leave a package with the staff at the post office and they dump it outside a depot because they cant be bothered processing it. They take your money and don't deliver on service. This is disgraceful. Australia Post should shut them down.

A horrible post office, too small for the amount of parcels they have. Parcels stacked up to the ceiling, and no sense of organization. Had a parcel that was supposed to be collected from there and it was never found. Highly advise to get packages sent to a parcel locker or use a different postcode (if it makes any difference). I'd give zero stars if it was an option.

If I could give negative stars I would. The most incompetent people at Preston LPO. Aus post is a joke. Always has been always will be. Drivers take packages straight to LPO and DO NOT ATTEMPT delivery. I was waiting outside my workshop. No van came then notification saying it's at LPO PRESTON. try to call 10 TIMES NO ANSWER. as always. You go there and they play dumb- most likely because they are. Useless and incompetent. I wonder if their lives outside work are as disfunctional as while at work. Absolute joke, useless service. I suggest people look for an alternative method of postage. Disgusting aus post.

They scan in all the parcels then hand write the addresses in a book. When I went to collect they checked the book and told a everyone in line "sorry not ready, come back tomorrow". Hand writing down addresses in a book can't be standard process.

So clearly they just find the rudest people possible, and they automatically qualify to get a job here? 2 awful women were there when I collected a parcel yesterday. Firstly, the postman had accidentally dropped a parcel outside but had his hands full, so I helped him pick it up, the older woman storms outside and basically shoves me out of the way. Nice. So I get inside to collect my parcel and the younger woman is equally terrible, shoves my parcel into my hands with pretty full on force! Horrible.

I've only ever had good experiences at Preston South. The staff are friendly and helpful, and one has to remember that they have a huge amount of work to do in an extremely small space. Their efforts are commendable.

Never had any problems there, always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help, good with passports too. Can get packed at times - sardine tin sized shop, but avoid the rush hour and it's fine. Only lose a star for misplacing parcels sometimes - they do find them again later, but I think their teetering heaps are not well organised, I suppose lack of space is why.

Bad attitude and zero attention to detail. Walked in to young staff member with her arms crossed. Boss said "she has man flu"... Then she deposits a $10,000 cheque as $1,000. Now I'm waiting while they call a help desk. Auspost is generally a joke but this is beyond rubbish.

I feel like the store is too remote... Those people don't know how to communicate. They are looking at you like you are somewhat of a stupid person when talking to them. They are always in a bad mood and inexperienced. I even had my parcel once wrongly sent back to my address, because the person behind the desk doesn't know what "Receiver" & "Sender" means.

I have a post office box here and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly when setting it up, and I've never had any experiences with them other than good. I think the only reason that some would find them rude is that it gets incredibly busy at certain times of day and the actual shop is tiny (so avoid the rush hour if you can), they can be a bit brisk at such times, but no more than that and you wouldn't expect them to be chatty then.
