There are some ladies that work here that are kind and very helpful. Some which are not. However there is one older man that works here and I witnessed him treating his colleges with disrespect. The lady serving me asked him kindly for some help, where he rolled his eyes at her, making it feel like it was too much trouble for him. He helped, but shook his head at her, spoke down to her and had a terrible facial expression…. He made her feel stupid and overly uncomfortable, which made me feel very uncomfortable. He needs to go.

This is the first negative review I have ever posted. But, really, there's something seriously wrong with customer service at this post office. Maybe they need help? I'm not sure why, but I've had two encounters with different staff and they have both been blunt and dismissive to the point of being rude. Unfortunately, I have to go there to pick up deliveries.

I went to this post office to renew my drivers licence & photo, the lady behind the counter was friendly, helpful & efficient! I was in & done within 10 minutes, even after having to wait in a queue. A pleasant experience.

Australia Post Brighton in South Australia are scammers. I used the online calculator to check the postage cost for sending an item and it was no where near $20. I have been charged $11 extra dollars for "partly paid" and "navigating $1.10 x10". From my understanding these are stamps.. I did not purchase any stamps! When the staff was questioned about this they did seem nervous and dismissive to the question. I would like my money back and the staff to be investigated. I can only imagine how many other elderly people have been charged for this too.

I drove 25 minutes to get there and took a carton from the shelf to the counter and asked for a 20 pack. I was told they did not have 20 only 10 so I would said I would take. The Blonde girl then tells me there are 20 available but when I get home they are completely the wrong size so another 50 minute round trip

Very disappointing service and still can’t get my parcel. Very rude staff with a power trip. I had the barcode email and a photo of my ID and they still wouldn’t accept it even though they have multiple times before. At one point I was frustrated and said “for frick sake” (and yes it was frick, not swearing) and the lady yelled in the middle of the store “excuse me mame we do not accept swearing in this store” very embarrassing and not a service you expect when you simply want to pick up a parcel (which also had my pill in it). They advised that they will be sending it back. Very disgusting and disappointed. I wasn’t going to post but after hearing of other friends experiences and other reviews I think it’s needed.

These guys continually send your parcels back earlier than they're supposed to! They're supposed to honour the 10 business days time limit, and they do not. Having said that, there are some employees that are lovely here. Some others, well, I prefer to deal with the nice ones :)

Extremely rude staff. Unfortunately this is the closest post office to me and the staff are consistently rude. They never smile, are unhelpful and begrudgingly answer questions. Filled with miserable workers who seem to hate their jobs. If you have the option of doing your post elsewhere, do it, because these guys will ruin your day with their staff’s attitudes.

Almost all staff here are rude and demeaning. Treat customers with little respect. A few younger staff and male staff are a lot better but majority are terrible to work with.

Quick story short: (Rather long now that I have finished proof reading) Needed Tax File Number (TFN) Went there with passport and P's license Was rudely told that I needed to have 3 proof of identification I said: "But I only have a license and passport with me." The silly woman (definitely feminist) told me: "Well, you should had been more organised..." And before she continued, I out of a little bit of embarrassment, asked: "Well what can I do?" (Definitely Feminist) replied: "Well... you can walk to the Commonwealth Bank and get a bank statement" (Even though you need a bank account with a bank before you get a TFN. So I went there, got the bank statement along with passport and license. I handed her my passport, license and bank statement. She grabbed all three and began processing the TFN on the computer. HOWEVER.... she grabbed MY PASSPORT and was going to enter the backroom and I said: "Why are you going there with my passport. I will not allow you to remove the passport from my sight." She then said: "If you continue to talk to me like that, I will call security" (With a really pathetic attempt of an assertive look) Then I said: "I would like to see it at all times please." She reluctantly listened and looked at me like I was a total almond nut. After that, she used the scanner that was in my sight and all went well. I did have a question for her though: "So, why do I need three proofs of evidence, if a passport is enough to get me through most of the countries around the world?" Then she replied: (smartly) "You can't go to all countries with only a passport, for example Russia and China" I then replied quickly and rather confused... "I said MOST... countries.... and you haven't attempted to answer my question, but I do not think you have the capability to actually answer my question, or understand the importance of keeping your OWN passport in sight." Then the feminist freedom attention seeking activist said, after rolling her eyes and sighing "Done, you should receive a document in the mail in 28 days. Good bye" (harsh tone) Then I grabbed my P's license, passport (Important look after it), bank statement and went home. I wish most younger people would have more consideration and pride in their work. Shame to see such useless, mean, rude, demeaning staff in this post office. Gives Australia Post a bad name, which is a shame because Australia Post as been around for as long as I could remember. Should sack all these mean staff and replace them with people who actually deserve it.
